        제품조달시간 제약을 가지는 주문에 대한 생산 및 배송 일정계획

        본 연구에서는 주문생산방식(make-to-order)에서 고객들로부터 접수된 주문(order)들을 모두 처리하는데 소요되는 최종 완료시간을 최소화할 수 있는 주문간 생산 및 배송 순서를 결정하기 위한 주문일정계획모델(order scheduling model)을 고려하고 있다. 각 주문은 자체생산품과 외부조달품으로 구성되고, 자체생산품에 대해서는 독자적인 생산일정계획이 필요하지만, 외부조달품의 경우에는 외부에서 조달되며, 정해진 조달완료시점에 도착한다. 또한, 각 주문에 속한 제품들이 모두 준비된 이후에는 고객으로의 배송이 이루어지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 운영상의 구조를 생산 및 조달단계와 그 이후의 배송단계로 연결되는 2단계 모델로 구성하고 배송단계에서의 배송시간과 배송차량의 가용성에 따라 3가지 변형모델로 구분하여 각 모델에 대한 경영과학적 해법을 제공하고자 한다. 각 모델에서 해에 대한 우월성질들을 개발하고 최종 완료시간을 최소화 할 수 있는 최적 일정계획법을 제안한다. 특히, 마지막 모델에 대해서는 근사해를 제공하는 3가지 발견적 해법(heuristic)을 제안하고, 각 해법의 성능을 여러 가지 수치데이터에 대한 실험을 통해 검증하였다. This paper considers a coordinated production and delivery scheduling problem to minimize the maximum completion time of a finite number of orders received from customers. Each order consists of two types of products. One type is manufactured by an in-house facility, but the other type is outsourced from the outside facility(or, subcontractor) so that the available time of the outsourced product is given as positive lead time. After all the products belonging to each order are prepared, the order is delivered to customer. The completion time of each order is measured by the time when delivery of the order is completed. The objective of this paper is to find out optimal production and delivery schedule minimizing the maximum completion time of all orders. We suggest three different models according that whether the delivery times to each customer are different or not, and that whether the capacity of delivery vehicle is finite or not. In the problem analysis, we first characterize some solution properties and then derive simple methods to find out the optimal schedules for the model 1 and 2. For the last model 3, a branch and bound solution is suggested and efficient heuristic algorithms to find approximate solutions are also developed. The performances of the proposed heuristics are evaluated through numerical experiments.

      • Assembly-Line Balancing 문제의 解決에 있어서 Heuristic Method의 活用에 關한 硏究

        The term "heuristic" originally meant aiding in or guiding discovery. Heuristic methods, models, and programs have recently found a respectable place in analytic methodology. The heuristic method of assembly-line balancing is not a mere mechanical procedure, since judgement and intuition must be used to derive a meaningful solution. The Procedure is simple and can be used by production engineers without difficulty. Optimality is usually assured when the ordering restrictions on the work elements am of a technological nature only. The heuristic method is an improvement over the trial-and-error methods traditionally used in assembly-line balancing. The methods cart be applied in any industry using progressive assembly techniques.

        It is a matter of great important to manager transfering from small business to big ones. Though small business has many advantage and play important role of our economy, it is very desirable for our economy to grow up many small business to big ones. But it requires many managerial problem solving. The small business is usually managed by practical men on a rule-of-thumb basis. The owner-manager and a few associates make their decisions by relying mainly on their past experiences and without analysis data. Managerial skill is usually acquired by copying former superiors rather than by formal academic training. Nonetheless, up to a certain output level, this system can be quite effective and the small business can make up for lesser degree of mechanization through greater productivity of employees. But exactly in this high degree of informality lie seeds of bankruptsy to business growth. First in importance among the managerial problems in small business to grow, is a way of thinking of manager. This problem increases with growth. When overseeing becomes obscured by size and when paternalistic amtrol ceases, employee indifference toward managerial endeavor can endanger the business's profitability. So I introduce systems theory and recornandate that concept to apply small business management.

        It is very important problem to manager that of making decisions concerning investment in capital equipment. Many researchs did on this kind of problem but yet best method not developed. I illustrated G. A. D. Preinreich's profit maximization model and thought about applicability real problem. As a result I found that the model have some obstacle to application. So I recommeded cast minization model. Moreover, I researched affect of parameters in the model by analog, computer data.

        The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the role of data base in business management. The data base, a major component of MIS, is an area containing all the information and decision rules area containing all the information and decision rules used by a business organization, is a format applicable to any user's needs and immediately available when needed. The job of assembling in a single location all pertinent information used by a given organization poses great diffilcuty, since it involves detailed analysis of that organization. As a computers continue to demonstrate their utility in the business environment, management looks expectantly to the future. Advances in computer technology, data base system, have increased management expectations as to what can be done with computers. Advantages of Data Base The main advantages of a corporate data base system are 1. Reduced computer processing time. 2. Centralized files for all applications. 3. Reduced sorting of records. 4. Reduced number of programs to be written. 5. Elimination of duplicate space and effort. 6. A single source of information for complete, accurate data processing and management information retrieval.

      • 經濟的 Lot size model의 吟味

        In lot production a stock control is reguired to ensure that lot levels are adeguate to meet demand but not too high as to cause excessive storage costs and low capital turnover. Three optimal lot-size are reviewed. (1) A minimun-cost lot-size, which ensures that the production costs per piece-are minimum; this lot also yields a maximum ratio of profit to cost of production.. The minimum cost lot should be preferred in cases of keen competition. (2) A maximum-profit lot-size, which yields a maximum profit per lot and is larger than the minimum-cost lot, this lot involes, however, a high investment and results in a low capital per annum. (3) A maximum rate of return lot-size, which is smaller than the minimum-cost lot size; this lot should be preferred, unless special benefits are to be gained from longer production runs.

        It has been over ten years to start Quality Control Movement in Korean enterprise. But the development in this area is very slight. The most important reason are insufficiency of manager's understanding and lack of co-ordination of high level person in organization and shortage of knowledge in statistical technique. So it is hopefull that we understands and aims S. Q. C. and T. Q. C simultaneously. In this study I search for the problems in QC system by field survey and present some suggestion.

        With the growing emphasis on scientific technigues in management problem information theory is becoming more important. This study has provided on. overview of the definition of information and of quantitative approaches to the measurement of the value of information for decision making. There is a tendency to always seek more information. The decision theory approach focuses attention not only on the value of information in a decision but also on the fact that the cost of obtaining more information may not be worthwhile. This study should assist the designer of information system to keep concept of cost/value in mind as a design consideration. The value of information approach can be applied in only part of the decisions. The content is difficult to apply in many complex, ill-structured situations, but this can be applied, for example, in marketing research problems, and the content is useful for insight into decision problems.
