유니버설디자인(Universal Design)은 특정 계층만을 위한 것이 아니라, 사용자의 성별, 연령, 국적, 장애의 유무에 관계없이 누구나 쉽고 편안하게 이용할 수 있도록 제품과 사용 환경을 설계하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 친수공간이 모든 사람을 위한 디자인으로 사용자들의 요구를 최대한 많은 사람들이 접근 가능한 공간 환경으로 만드는 연구이다.

In exhibition, lighting design should be planned in accordance with architecture considering interior design. Namely, lighting should be planned to harmonize with indoor space as an architectural material which is stuck on the ceiling, wall, and floor. Especially, lighting of the exhibition space is the most important fact to decide the quality of exhibition space and has close relation to space planning. In this paper, therefore, author investigated concepts and techniques of exhibition space and offered lighting presentation methods according to the exhibition style.

2010 상해 엑스포 전시관 LED 조명의 조형 연출에 관한 연구

전시 공간은 다양한 원천 기술의 발전에 따라 관람자 인지능력의 최적화 환경과 흥미를 이끌어내는 미래적인 컨텐츠를 선보이고 있다. 빛에 의한 연출은 보다 신기술의 영향을 적극적으로 받아들여, 작품성이 뛰어나고 우수한 미디어 컨텐츠와 연출력이 높고 이미지 전달이 효과적인 전시 조명환경을 지속적으로 만들어가고 있다. 이러한 전시 공간의 최신 트랜드와 발전 경향을 한눈에 확인하고 이해할 수 있는 최적의 기회로 국제 규모의 전시행사인 엑스포를 연구 대상으로 선정하였으며, 특히 세계적인 역량과 입지가 급상승 중인 중국 상해에서 2010 SHANGHAI EXPO를 분석 사례로 연구하고자 한다. 2010 SHANGHAI EXPO는 세계 각국의 문화와 가치관 등이 집약되어 전달될 수 있는 막대한 규모의 세기의 전시 공간을 만들어냈으며, 국가관, 기업관, 주제관 등 대규모 부지에 다양한 스토리와 첨단 기술력이 집약된 연출 결과들이 세계의 주목을 받는 대규모 이벤트를 완성시켰다. LED를 공간 연출에 적극적으로 도입한 국가 및 기업의 전시관은 빛 연출로 구현될 수 있는 조형적 가치가 극대화된 조형 공간을 선보였으며, 이에 LED라는 첨단 기술은 더욱 크고 효과적인 결과물을 이끌어냈다. 직접적인 이미지와 브랜드를 전달하도록 영상을 구현하는 전시 공간, 빛 연출에 의한 추상적 형상을 표현하는 오브제, 건축적 매스(MASS) 이미지와 재질감을 빛의 속성으로 극대화하는 파빌리온과 같은 대상과 LED 광원이 컨텐츠를 보조하는 조명으로 역할을 하는 공간, LED에 의한 미디어 아트가 독자적인 컨텐츠로 선보이는 공간 등 다양한 조명 연출로 LED 광원이 활용되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 경향의 사례를 중심으로 분류하고, 전시 효과를 높이는 연출 방법론의 개발로 이어질 수 있는 초석이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 야간 옥외공간 활성화를 위한 도시경관 조명연출에 관한 연구

21세기는 정보화시대로 도시기능이 확대되고 밤과 낮의 구분이 사라지고 주간 위주의 생활방식에서 벗어나 도시의 야간 생활영역의 비중이 점차 확대되고 야간경관의 고려가 절실히 요구되는 상황이다. 도시환경의 개선을 위한 조명디자인은 쾌적하고 기능적인 디자인을 위하여 도시의 물리적 공간을 빛에 의한 경관 형성에 주안점을 두고 도시를 구성하는 다양한 빛의 관계성을 체계화하여 쾌적한 빛 환경을 독창적으로 창조하는데 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 야간경관에 대한 과학적이고 체계적인 연구와 분석을 통하여 인간의 심미적 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있어야 한다. 또한 야간의 옥외공간에서 잠재하는 상해요소로부터 안전한 환경을 제공하며, 인간의 삶을 편리하고 안락하게 영위할 수 있는 빛 환경과 도시경관조명의 방법을 연구함으로써 야간 옥외공간 활성화를 위한 발전적 대안을 제시하고자 한다. As we enter 21st centry, the capacity of city is ever increasing as boundaries between day and night disappear, and people extend their normal daily life routines to the evening. In order to improve the quality of city life and create a better living space, designing of light needs to focus not only on the impact of lighting on physical space but to understand the relationship between the various lighting and its surrounding area. Therefore, this study of night lighting should follow scientific steps and logical research to fulfill our own daily living needs. Furthermore, by providing the effective lighting and safe outdoor from uncertain risky elements that coexist in our environment, we can improve our quality of life through the study of the relationship between the various lighting environment and city landscape lighting. In return, we intent to find the effective ways to increase the usage of outdoor space.
