This study optimizes geothermal system capacity using Coordinate Search Method. This method starts from the initial guess for the objective function, moves to the range set by the user, and starts the next guess. The initial investment cost and the operating cost of 20 years were set as the objective function. Constraints are set so that the objective function does not have an unreasonable value. As a result of the optimization, the cost of the ground heat exchanger was reduced by 31%, the cost of the heat pump by 0.19%, and the cost of the heat storage tank by 8%. However, due to the increase in power consumption, the operating cost for 20 years has increased by 2%. As a result, NPV decreased about 8%. However, COP decreased from 3% to 15%. It has been confirmed that the optimum design is economical in terms of cost.
