As ships become larger and construction of offshore plants increases recently, the amount of outsourcing has increased accordingly in the shipyard. Consequently, the system integration in terms of SCM (Supply Chain Management) of information and material flows has become much more important. Especially, since the SCM in the shipbuilding industry is operated in accordance with the production planning in connection with design, purchasing and production process which are the main components of the supply chain, the best production plan has to be established over the whole scheduling activities from the long-term planning to the short-term planning. The paper analyzes the characteristics of the SCM and the production planning system and suggests the need and the direction of APS (Advanced Planning System) development specialized in the supply chain management only for shipbuilding industry. Furthermore, propose a new SCP-Matrix (Supply Chain Planning Matrix), which is the basis of the APS development, appropriate for the shipbuilding industry and draw the core function of the APS module for the practical production plan.

In the shipbuilding industry which is an ETO (Engineering to order) manufacturing system, Ship size has been larger and the amount of outsourcing has increased according to constructing the offshore plant. In terms of SCM (Supply Chain Management) of the information and distribution flow, the integration has been more important. Specially, SCM in the shipbuilding industry is operated with connection of customer, purchasing, design, production process which are the main component of SCM centered on production planning. Therefore, it has to be made the ideal production planning from long-term planning to short-term planning. The paper analyzes the character of SCM and production planning system, and suggests the direction and need of APS (Advanced Planning System) development specialized on integration production planning only for shipbuilding industry. Also, establishing strategy and core function for each planning process has been derived.
Green Ship 기술 및 규제 관리를 위한 Generic-GSWBS 설계

Recently, environmental issues have significantly been emphasized in the shipbuilding industry. So it reinforced the regulation of preventing air and environmental pollution due to ship navigation. Environmental regulations on ships have been led to changes in the shipbuilding industry and the shipping industry. It is in a trend of actively researching the green-ship technology for low fuel consumption and the development of a low-carbon vessel. So, in this study we design the Generic-GSWBS (Generic-Green Ship Work Breakdown Structure) for managing information of green ship technology and environmental regulation. For this reason, related substances and items for environmental regulation and eco-friendly technology were analyzed. This result was then mapped with the product information of the ship. As a result, it is expected to be able to carry out the environmental regulations and technology management in the design and production stage via the Generic-GSWBS.

현재까지 조선 일정 계획과 관련한 연구는 주로 도크를 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 도크가 조선소에서 가장 확장성이 떨어지는 자원으로 과부하 발생 시 해결이 어렵기 때문이다. 하지만 도크와 관련한 일정 계획이 완료된 이후에는 조선소의 자원을 최대한 활용하여 추가적인 비용이 발생하지 않도록 나머지 부분을 계획 하는 것 또한 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 조선 중일정 계획 중 조립 블록의 생산 공장(정반)을 지정하는 블록 배량 계획 과정의 분석을 통해, 블록 배량 계획을 자동화 하였다. 또한 다이어그램 기반의 블록 배량 시나리오 편집 및 시뮬레이션을 통해 계획 시나리오의 검증 방법을 제시하였다.

Most of the shipbuilding scheduling researches so far have been conducted with stress on the dock plan. That is due to the fact that the dock is the least extendable resource in shipyards and its overloading is difficult to resolve. However, once the dock scheduling is completed, it is also important to make a plan that make the best use of the rest of the resources in the shipyard, so that any additional cost is minimized. This study automates block allocation process by analyzing the existing manual process that designates production bays for the blocks during the midterm planning. Also, a planning scenario validation method is suggested, where block allocation scenarios based on diagrams are edited and simulated.
