In this study, it is thought that the effect of nano ATH particles on flashover performance and arc resistance of epoxy resin insulators can be seen. Arc characteristics and flashover voltage characteristics were evaluated by resistance according to the filling content (0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 phr) of nano-ATH surface-modified DGEBA epoxy resin.In the flashover characteristics of the microcomposite filled with the original epoxy resin and the epoxy alumina microparticles, the flashover voltage is very low when the inorganic material is not filled.The improvement in flashover performance is believed to be due to the increase in surface conduction.
