This paper deals with the applicability of optimal PID controller to the load frequency control of 2-area power systems. The proposed optimal PID controllers are designed by the optimization technique of P.I.D's gain coefficients using the real variable and elitist based genetic algorithm(RVEGA). The system sensitivity for the optimal gains and the stable effects of system speed regulation changes are considered. The PID controller for load frequency control systems with exciter shows better performances and robustness than conventional tie-line bias controller.

We consider the system is subject to the linearly polarized oscillatory external field. We study the optical quantum transition Line shapes(QTLS) which show the absorption power and the quantum transition line widths(QTLW) of electron-piezoelectric phonon interacting system. We analyze the magnetic field dependence of the QTLS and the QTLW in various cases. In order to analysis the quantum transition, we compare the magnetic field dependence of the QTLW and the QTLS of two transition process, the intra-Landau level transition process and the inter-Landau level transition process.

This paper describes the modification required to produce an efficient three-phase Load-flow using as a reference the single-phase fast-decoupled algorithm. The algorithm provides, fast and reliable convergence even with extreme conditions of steady-state unbalance.

This paper mainly deals with the problems related to the improvememts of power system stability for an infinite bus-bar system with single machine, which AC and DC transmission line are connected in parallel. We considered about the stable operation region for the steady-state stability of power system with a DC current controller and without one. Specially, we assumed the general coefficients of converters in DC transmission line to be constant and obtained easily the stable limit curve in variations of gain coefficients for DC current controller through the digital computer simulation.

This thesis investigates the Quantitative aspect of epidemic phenomena utilizing the analytical method of discrete time systeMs based on the theory of Markov processes. In particular, the pattern on the epidemic character of turberculosis controlled by prophylaxis and BCG vaccinatioll was analyzed by the markovian model of tuberculosis system which is derived according to the ecologic relationship between nine epidemiologic states of individuals. The quantitative aspects of the model were characterized by digital computer simulations.

We investigated theoretically the quantum optical transition properties of Si, in quasi 2-Dimensinal Landau splitting system, based on quantum transport theory. We apply the quantum transport theory (QTR) to the system in the confinement of electrons by square well confinement potential under linearly polarized oscillating field. We use the projected Liouville equation method with Equilibrium Average Projection Scheme (EAPS). In order to analyze the quantum transition, we compare the temperature and the magnetic field dependencies of the QTLW and the QTLS on four transition processes, namely, the intra-leval transition process, the inter-leval transition process, the phonon emission transition process and the phonon absorption transition process.
