The challenge today in automotive industry is to make more fuel efficient vehicle in order to reduce CO2 emission as well as to meet customer expectation. Lots of effort is continually on its way in all aspects of vehicle including engine performance, vehicle weight, body style, EMS, and other hardware development. In this paper, we confirmed that some vehicle conditions like environmental temperature, status of road, friction of vehicle tire and mileage accumulation have a significant effect on fuel economy through the standard/legal driving mode including FTP75, NEDC, HWFET, US06. And we hope that our results could give a direction to fuel economy improvement.

Fuel Economy is very important one of items to reduce green house gases from vehicles. and Governments have been trying to give their customers the real information of vehicle fuel economy such as real road. According to this, so many car makers have been trying to improve high fuel economy in their productions. Test fuels in worldwide regulations are very various. and fuel economy depends on their characteristics and how to calculate it . This paper shows the fuel economy differences with the used fuels according to fuel characteristics such as fuel density , carbon weight fraction, and net heating values, includes calculations in worldwide regulations.

The effects of exhaust emission for Gasoline SULEV has been regulated in the world wide regulations such as Korea and U.S.A market under FTP 75 mode is very important to develop SULEV emissions because of SULEV emission standards are about 81% lower than ULEV. SULEV variability of emission results can be given an effect to develop and certify vehicle. it could be caused by test measurements that are focused on the ambient air and Sample Bags purifies and vehicle preparations This paper shows that test vehicle preparations and test equipment effects like vehicle after treatment poisoning, Canister loading/purge condition and using clean bag effect with SULEV gasoline vehicles,.
