The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of housewives' sense, behavior and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony and also some influencing factors related to the above mentioned three dependent variables. So that the findings may offer them fundamental materials to improve the level of home life culture and the whole home living. The research questions of this study are as follows; (1) What is the general tendency of housewives' sense, behavior and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony. (2) How is the housewives' sense, behavior and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony is it different according to the background variables ? (3) How is the relationship of housewives' sense, behavior and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony ? (4) What is the most influential variables on the housewives' sense, behavior and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony ? 500 questionnaire were distributed to the housewives who live in Seoul and collected during April 1993. The data obtained were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, Pearson r, Paired t-test, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings can be summarized as follows; (1) The general tendency of the housewives' sense, behavior and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony was morden. (2) According to background variable (ie: the number of children, religion, educational level, the average home income a month), the housewives' sense of home ritual ceremony is different significantly. According to background variable (ie: religion, husband's educational level, the existence of job), the housewives' behavior of home ritual ceremony is different significantly. According to background variable (ie: the form of family, educational level), the housewives' satisfaction of home ritual ceremony is different significantly. (3) There were positive correlation between the housewives' sense and behavior of home ritual ceremony (P<.05). But there were negative correlation between the housewives' sense and satisfaction of home ritual ceremony (P<.001). And there were positive correlation between the housewives' behavior and satisfaction (P<.001). (4) The housewives' sense of home ritual ceremony was religion, influential factor. And influential factor on the housewives' behavior of that was the existence of job. The influential factor on the housewives' satisfaction of that was the form of family.
