중앙부 버스 정류장의 이미지와 시각적 선호에 관한 연구;서울시를 중심으로

본 연구는 중앙버스전용차로시행에 따라 등장한 중앙부 버스 정류장이 가지는 시각적 이미지와 선호도, 주변 환경과 의 관계성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 중앙부 버스 정류장이 위치하는 대상지를 달리하여 그에 대한 경관평가를 시행하고 그 차이를 알아보았다. 중앙버스전용차로제가 시행되고 있는 서울시내 간선 도로 중 각기 다른 환경의 중앙부 버스 정류장을 대표할만한 간선도로 하정로, 한강로, 강남대로의 3곳을 선택하였으며, 대상지의 조건은 소폭가로, 도심 내 광폭가로, 도심 외곽부의 광폭가로였다. 각각의 대상지는 중앙부 버스 정류장이 있는 기존경관, 중앙부 버스 정류장에 수목을 식재한 경관, 중앙부 버스 정류장을 삭제한 경관으로 시뮬레이션하여 경관평가를 시행하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중앙부 버스 정류장이 가지는 시각적 영향은 중앙부 버스 정류장이 위치하는 가로 환경의 시각적 복잡성 정도에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 시각적 복잡성이 낮은 지역에서는 중앙부 버스 정류장에 대한 선호도가 높았으나, 시각적 복잡성이 높은 지역에서는 중앙부 버스 정류장에 대한 선호도가 낮았다. 둘째, 중앙부 버스 정류장이 위치하는 지역적 환경에 상관없이 삭제경관보다는 중앙부 버스 정류장이 있는 기존경관과 중앙부 버스 정류장에 수목이 식재된 경관이 더 인상적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중앙부 버스 정류장에 수목이 있는 것이 없는 것보다 선호도가 높았으며, 심리적으로 편안함을 준 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 결과를 감안하면 추후 계획되는 중앙부 버스 정류장에서는 인상적인 가로경관의 조성과 경관미 추구를 위해 수목을 식재하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 생각된다. The City of Seoul enforces the 'Median reserved bus lane', a revised public transportation system, in order to achieve both a faster and more convenient transit system. This study examines the visual image and preference of the median bus stops in accordance with the operation of the median reserved bus lanes. In order to evaluate and clarify the distinct landscape of each bus stop in a different environment, our team selected 3 representative bus stops with different environments on main roads and conducted landscape simulations so as to evaluate visual preference. The sites were on a narrow range road, wide width road in the downtown area and wide width road on the outskirts of the city. The preference degree for each selected bus-stop environment was compared. The comparison conditions were a median bus stop with preexisting landscape, a median bus stop with planted trees, and a landscape without a median bus stop. The results of the study can be Summarized as follows: First, the visual influence on median bus stops depends on the visual complexity of the environment where they are located. People had an affinity for the median bus stop in which the visual complexity was low, while the preference degree of median bus stop was low in a highly complex area. Secondly, regardless of regional environment where median bus stops are located, research showed that it is more "impressive" to have a median bus-stop with planted trees than landscape without a median bus stop. Thirdly, the median bus stop with plants highly preferred over one without moreover, the landscape with planted trees would provide a comfortable mind for people. This study reveals that planting-oriented design concepts in median bus stops exhibit significant differences in the preference assessment factors. Thus, for further median bus stop construction, planting is desirable to create an impressive streetscape and better scenic quality.

지원성(Affordance)이 경관선호도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 ― 자연경관이 우세한 지역을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 지원성(affordance)이 경관선호에 영향을 미치고 있는가를 파악하고 예측변수로서의 가능성을 알아보는 것이다. 또한 지원성의 특성이 어떠한 것인지를 파악해 보고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 일반인이 찍은 자연경관이 우세한 사진 40장을 이용하여 대학생들을 대상으로 경관평가를 실시하였다. 선호 예측변수로는 신비감, 통일감, 지원성을 사용하였다. 경관평가 결과를 바탕으로 전문가들을 대상으로 개방형 설문을 실시하여 지원성이 나타난 경관의 특성을 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 신비감과 지원성(affordance)이 경관선호도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가장 선호도가 높은 경관과 가장 선호도가 낮은 경관에서 경관선호도 예측변수로서 지원성의 중요도가 가장 높았다. 경관선호도의 예측변수로서 지원성이 타당한 변수가 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 경관선호도에 지원성이 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 지원성이 높은 경관의 특성은 인공구조물이 있어 행위를 유발하는 기능이 있고, 주변 경관과 경사, 바닥포장 상태 등이 지원성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지원성이 높은 경관은 접근성이 뛰어나고 레크리에이션 활동을 담을 수 있는 공간에 대한 것이 많았다. 반대로 지원성이 낮은 경관은 표고차, 시각적 차단, 물에 의한 차단 등으로 인해 접근성이 낮다는 특성을 지니고 있었고, 위험성이 감지되어 행동유발성이 떨어지는 경관의 특성을 가지고 있었으며, 무엇을 하기 위한 경관인지 모르는 모호성을 지니고 있었다. 이러한 지원성의 특성을 적절히 활용한다면 분명한 계획목적을 가진 공간 조성에 유용할 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to establish the city image in devising landscape planning by examining the image, the identity of cities and analyzing the factors that constitute the image of the cities as a method to deduce a fundamental course of landscape planning before establishing landscape planning. The present study focuses on whether affordances affect landscape preference or not and analyze it as an independent variable. This study also analyzes the characteristic of affordances. For this study college students were shown 40 photographs of nature landscapes for evaluation. Mystery, coherence and affordances were used for the independent variable. Based on the landscape evaluations open-end questionnaires were given to experts to determine the specific landscape character of affordances. The study indicated that Mystery and affordances affect landscape preference. The affordances are the most important independent variable of landscape preference both in the highest landscape preference and the lowest landscape preference. This shows that affordances are a reasonable variable as an independent variable of landscape preference and its effects on landscape preference. The result shows that specific landscapes with high affordance have artificial structures that induce activities. It also shows that affordance can be affected by the neighboring landscape, slope and ground packing state. High affordance landscapes are highly accessible and spaces in which one can hold recreational activities. In contrast, landscapes with low affordance have low accessibility due to vertical drop, visual interception and blocked by water. Moreover, it looks dangerous. This result shows if affordances were properly utilized they could be useful in creating a space with clear purpose.
