미래 정보화 사회는 다양한 정보를 연결하고 새로운 지식을 창출하여 창의적으로 문제를 해결하는 능력이 요구된다. 미래 사회의 인재를 길러내기 위해 다양한 분야의 지식을 연결하여 삶 속 다양한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 융합적 사고 능력을 길러주는 교육이 학교교육에서 이루어져야 하며, 현행 교육과정인 2015 개정 교육과정에서도 시대가 요구하는 창의·융합 인재를 길러내기 위한 교육 방법의 하나로 융합교육을 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 융합교육의 개념 및 필요성 관련 선행 연구 및 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정, 교육과정에 따라 개발되어 현재 학교에 적용되고 있는 초·중·고 학교급별 미술 교과서 를 대상으로 융합교육 관련 내용을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 초·중·고 학교급별 융합교육의 내용을 제안하였고, 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 미술과 융합교육의 적용 방안을 ‘더불어 사는 삶(배려)’을 주제로 중학교 미술과 융합 교수·학습 과정을 통해 제시하였다. 본 연구는 학교교육에서 미술과 융합교육에 대한 교수·학습 방안 연구로서 학교에서 미술과 융합교육을 실시할 때 구체적인 도움이 되기를 기대한다. Creative problem-solving skills from connecting various types of information and creating new knowledge will be required in the future information society. To cultivate talent for the future, school curriculum must encompass education that develops integrated thinking skills needed to solve real-life-related problems by connecting knowledge in various fields, and the 2015 Revised Curriculum proposes convergence education as an educational method for fostering the creative and convergence talent required by the times. This study analyzes prior studies on the concept and necessity of convergence education, the 2015 Revised Art Curriculum, and convergence education-related contents in elementary, middle and high school art textbooks developed in accordance with the 2015 Revised Art Curriculum and currently used in schools. Based on the analysis, the study proposes educational content for convergence education for elementary, middle, and high schools as well as ways to apply convergence art education pursuant to the 2015 Revised Curriculum through middle school an integrative art teaching and learning method under the theme “Living Together(Caring).” This study on teaching and learning methods in school education is expected to be particularly helpful when conducting convergence art education in schools.

학교미술교육 강화를 위한 미술 교과서 내용 개선 제안: 동시대 미술, 지역사회 연계 미술(공공미술), 미술 감상·미술관교육의 3가지 핵심 주제를 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to examine the 3 core themes(‘contemporary art’, ‘community-linked art(public art)’, ‘art appreciation·museum education’) proposed by ‘Korea Arts Management Service’, and to suggest future directions for enhancement of school art education. This study was done as the base research for ‘qualitative improvement of school art education’ and ‘happy life with art’ promoted through a set of School Arts Education Plans(MOE, 2018; 2019; 2020) and Art Promotion Plan(MCST, 2018) by the government. For this purpose, a total of 64 elementary to high-school art textbooks by 2015 revised Korean National Art Curriculum(MOE, 2015a) were analyzed. The standard of analysis for screening art textbooks was reviewed and verified by 7 school art-education experts. The result and the suggestions of this study could be used as a foundation for developing the next national art curriculum and art textbooks, and would bring about the effect of leading the advance of school art education. 본 연구는 현 정부가 ‘학교예술교육중장기계획’(교육부, 2018), 학교예술교육활성화기본계획(교육부, 2019; 2020) 및 ‘미술 진흥중장기계획’(2018-2022)(문화체육관광부, 2018)을 통해 추진하는 ‘학교예술교육의 질적 제고’ 및 ‘미술로 행복한 삶’을 위한 기반 연구의 하나로, 학교미술교육 강화를 위하여 주목해야 할 3가지 핵심 주제, 즉, ‘동시대 미술’, ‘지역사회 연계 미술(공공미술)’, ‘미술 감상·미술관교육’이 학교미술교육에 어떻게 반영되어 있는지를 살펴보고 개선 방안을 제안하는 데 목 적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 학교미술교육 전문가 7인을 대상으로 설문조사 및 자문회의를 통해 교과서 분석을 위한 주제별 필수 내용 요소로서의 분석기준을 점검하였으며, 이에 기초하여 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정(교육부, 2015a)에 따라 개발된 초·중·고 미술 교과서 총 64권을 분석하였다. 학교미술교육의 강화를 위한 본 연구의 제안들은 우리나라 미술교육 정책을 비롯하여 차기 미술과 교육과정 및 학교급별 미술 교과서 개발 시 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 궁극적으로 학교미술교육 전반에 긍정적인 효과를 불러올 것이라 기대된다.
