본 연구는 확장된 미디어에 대한 정의를 정리하고 미디어산업의 범위를 정의한 후 미디어산업의 경제적 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 한국은행에서 발표한 산업연관분석표를 활용하여 미디어산업의 생산유발계수, 부가가치유발계수, 영향력계수, 감응도계수를 분석하고 경제적 파급효과를 알아보았다. 분석결과 미디어산업의 생산유발계수 열 합계는 2010년 2.8983에서 2014년 2.5014로, 행 합계는 2010년 3.1755에서 2014년 2.7347로 감소하였다. 감응도계수는 2010년 1.1603에서 2014년 1.1826으로, 영향력계수는 2010년 1.0590에서 2014년 1.0817로 다소 증가하였다. 부가가치유발계수는 2010년 0.9451, 2014년 0.8471로 나타났다. 미디어산업은 다른 산업의 중간재로 사용이 늘어나고 있고 다른 산업을 견인하는 영향력도 증가하고 있었으며 기술 중심으로 변화하고 있지만 아직은 노동집약적 산업으로 높은 고용창출을 만들어 냄을 알 수 있었다. 또한 올드미디어기반산업은 다른 산업의 생산과 수요 변화에 미치는 영향력이 매우 크고 뉴미디어산업은 여러 분야에서 활용빈도가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. This study summarized the definition of extended media and defined the scope of the media industry, and then studied the economic effects of the media industry. For this purpose, the analysis of production induction coefficient, value-added induction coefficient, influence coefficient, and sensitivity coefficient of the media industry was carried out using the industrial correlation analysis table, and the economic ripple effect was examined. The analysis shows that the media industry is increasing its use as an intermediate material of other industries, and the influence of driving other industries is increasing, and it is changing to technology, but it is still creating a high job creation by labor-intensive industry. In addition, the oldmedia-based industry has a great influence on the production and demand changes of other industries, and the newmedia industry has a high frequency of utilization in various fields.
