慶北道內에 위치한 성주, 구미, 김천, 영덕, 대구 等 5個 地域을 對象으로 1989年, 7月∼8月 사이에 降雨量別로 降雨中 pH. EC, SO₄^(2-), NO₃^-, Cl^- 等의 含量을 分析調査한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 調査地域에서 모두 初期降雨에는 酸性雨로 나타났으며, 그 程度는 地域에 따라 差異가 있었지만 구미지역에서 가장 甚하였다. 2. 降雨中 SO₄^(2-)含量은 都市 및 工業地域인 대구, 구미, 김천지역에서 높았다. 3. 降雨量이 增加할수록 pH는 높아지고, 其外成分은 減少되었는데, 이러한 增減의 程度는 降雨量 初期(2∼4 ㎜)와 含量이 높은 成分일술록 현저하였다. 4. 電氣傳導度는 降雨中 SO₄^(2-), NO₃^-, Cl^- 含量이 높을수록 높아졌으며, pH는 降雨中 SO₄^(2-) 및 NO₃^-含量이 높을수록 낮아졌다. This study was carried out to investigate the chemical characteristics of the rain water in rural, urban and industrial areas which are located in Kyoˇngbuk province, namely. Soˇngju, Kumi, Kimchoˇn, Yoˇngdoˇk and Teagu. The experiments were sampled the rain by amount of rain water from July to August in 1989, and analyzed the pH. EC, SO₄^(2-), NO₃^- and Cl^- contents in the rain water. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The acid rain showed at the begining rain water of all surveyed sites, but there were difference by sites, and particulary severe in Kumi. 2. The content of SO₄^(2-) in rain water was high in urban and industrial area, such as Teagu, Kumi and Kimchoˇn. 3. According to the increasing rain water amount, the pH in rain water was high, and the contents of other components were low. This phenomenon remarkably presented at higher concentration of components and earlier rain water. 4. The electric conductivity was high significantly positive correlation with contents of SO₄^(2-), NO₃^- and Cl^- in rain water, and pH was high significantly negative correlation with contents of SO₄^(2-) and NO₃^- in rain water, respectively.
