현재, 일본어연구의 언어단위를 둘러싼 논의가 원점으로 돌아가 이루어지고 있다. 거기에는 언어연구의 가장 기본적인 문제인 연구대상으로서의 언어단위가 점점 애매해지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 일본어학에서 언어단위를 결정하는데 있어서 그 사상적 기초가 되고 있는 20세기 전반의 국어학자인 橋本進吉와 時枝誠記의 언어사상에 대해서 특히 큰 영향을 받은 소쉬르와 관련지어 논의하였다. 바이와 세슈아예의 『일반언어학강의』를 소쉬르의 사상으로서 수용한 전자는 랑그의 언어학을 규범으로 하여 현재의 일본어학의 품사론과 구문론의 기초가 되고 후자는 랑그의 실제적 운용인 파롤의 탐구를 모색하는 길을 열었다는 점에서 문장론이나 담화연구의 일본적 전개의 시초가 되고 있다. Some discussions over the unit of language on Japanese research go back to the basics, and these ones have come to be done now. There is seen a problem that the unit of language as a research object which is the most basic theme to research the language is gradually made vague. Therefore this study has taken up the language thought of the Japanese philology persons; Shinkichi Hashimoto and Motoki Tokieda in the first half of the 20th century that are thought to be bases of the language unit decision of present Japanese study. Both have been deeply influenced by Saussure"s thought. The former adopted "General linguistics lecture" by Charles Bally and Albert Sechehaye as Saussure"s thoughts made Lang"s linguistics a standard, and became a foundation of the part of speech and the syntax theory of present Japanese study. The latter opened the way in which it groped for the search for parole as practical operation of Lang. As a result, his thought is an origin of Japanese progressing on the text theory and the discourse research.

There is a phenomenon of "the stagnation of the conventional domain" and "the grope to the new domain" under the influence of globalization now in the field of the study and the education in Japan. This is similar in not only the field of Japanese language study but also other domains. The university greets the times of the crisis now. The society trend placed in "the Japanese study" of 2012 is very symbolic. In the society trend, "the maturity of the Japanese study", "the analysis of the central phenomenon to the analysis of a circumferential phenomenon" and "the maintenance of the corpus" point out stagnation. On the other hand, the trend shows the grope to other domains called "linguistic structure serious consideration to performance serious consideration", "a unitary study method to a complex study method" and "the progress of the computerization of results of research". This article has investigated a visual element of "Taiwan Nichinichi shinpo" and an advertisement, an article entry using the study method of the multi-genre. This article of media text has showed the close relations of both. In the language study. In the language study, groping over a crisis is important by the cooperation with other domains.

일본의 매스 미디어는「객관적인 보도」를 이념으로 하는 보도로 신뢰받아왔다. 일본어교육에서는 현재까지 교재나 수업에 있어 신문기사와 같은 미디어 텍스트를 그대로 교재로 다뤄왔다. 그러나 미디어 연구, 미디어 리테러시(literacy)의 관점에서 보면 그「객관성」에 대해 많은 의문이 제기되고 있다. 과연 미디어 텍스트에「객관성」에 대한 문제는 없는 걸까? 본 논문에서는 현재까지 진행되어온『마이니치(?日)』『아사히(朝日)』신문의 결과와 비교하면서 예비적인 조사로서 2006년 10월의『요미우리(??)신문』1면의 보도기사 표제 22개에 대해 기노시타(木下是雄)의「사실」과「의견」, 나카무라(中村明)의 레토릭 기법을 기준으로 그 객관적 특징을 파악하면서「객관성」에 대한 표현을 분석했다. 그 결과, 22개의 표제 중 19개에서, 인용과 형용 표현으로 인해 진위 판정할 수 없는 경우와 레토릭 기법이 사용되어 진위 판정할 수 없는 경우가 보여졌으며,『마이니치(?日)』『아사히(朝日)』의 결과와 마찬가지로 표제에「객관성」이 문제가 되는 표현기법이 다량 사용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이후 좀 더 조사수를 늘려 타사와 비교할 필요가 있겠지만, 일본어교육에서 미디어 텍스트를 그대로 사용한 교재에 대해서는「객관성」에 대한 표현기법을 충분히 재검토할 필요가 있는 것 같다. 동시에, 표현기법으로서 기본적인 보도문에서 출발해 레토릭 기법을 사용한 표현 의도를 담은 어필까지를, 독해나 작문 등에서 단계적으로 가르쳐야 할 상황인 듯 하다.
