발전플렌트용 9Cr 페라이트 내열강의 미세조직과 강도특성

This present study were investigated effect of Ni contents on the microstructure and strength characteristic in 9Cr ferritic heat-resistant steel added 1.7%W in place of Mo in order to restrain laves phase formation. The result obtained from this study are as follow. Volume fraction, number of particles per unite area and particle size of carbide decreased with increase of Ni contents. Other side, carbides of M_(23)C_6 type was mainly precipitated in this steel, but laves phases could not precipitated in spite of increasing of aging time. With increase of tempering temperature, hardness was increased, and maximum value was showed around 873k by secondary hardening due to precipitation of W₂C type carbide and then, was decreased. Tensile and yield strength due to decrease precipitation amount of carbide and number of particles per unite area was decreased, but elongation and impact value was increased. In case of aged specimen after tempering than tempered specimen, strength was higher and elongation was lower due to increasing of precipitated amount of carbide and number of particles per unite area
오스템퍼드 구상흑연 주철의 기계적 성질 및 파괴특성에 미치는 오스템퍼링 온도의 영향

This study was performed to investigation the effect of austempering temperature on the mecanical properties and fracture Characteristic of the ductile cast iron with contains Cu and Mo. The obtained results of this study were as follows; Microstructure of austemped ductile cast iron obtained by sustempering were low bainite with some martensite at 250℃, mixture of low and upper bainite at 300℃ and upper bainite at 350℃. With increasing austempering temperature, yield strength, tensile strength and hardness decreased, while the elongation and impact absorption energy increased. With increasing austempering temperature, fracture toughness value increased and mainly controlled by bolume fraction of retained austenite. The volume fraction of retained austenite increased and the fracture surface obtained fibrous and dimple with increasing austempering temperature.

Recently, inverter control systems have attracted immense attention to increase the energy efficiency. However, such systems use repeated on/off high currents for linear operation control, instead of the prevalent step variable current control method. Hence, there arise concerns of personal and property damage, especially due to the durability, explosive characteristics, and operating speed of the fuse, which is responsible for safety and is one of the internal components using current control. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an IEC60127-4 SMD sub-miniature fuse, consisting of Ag-Cu alloys and ceramic powder for arc soothing. The IEC60127-4 SMD sub-miniature fuse has high durability and cut-off capacity, and operates safely in dangerous circumstances caused by the inverter control system.

This study investigated the effect of aging treatment, Co addition and stress on the precipitation of Laves phase in 10Cr-6W ferritic heat-resistant steel for ultra-super critical pressure power generating plants. The hardness change during the aging treatment has shown two peaks. Ductility and toughness rapidly decreased by the very fine disk-like Laves phase precipitates at initial stage of aging. As aging time gets longer, Laves phase has precipitation, which brings out strength's increase, on the other hand elongation and impact value decrease. Content of Laves phase precipitates increased with addition of Co. The stress during the aging enhanced the Laves phase precipitates, and content of Laves phase precipitates and particle numbers per unite area enlarged by increasing of stress.
심랭 처리된 오스템퍼드 구상흑연주철의 기계적 성질에 미치는 Cu의 영향

This study was investigated the effect of the Cu addition and subzero treatment in austempered ductile cast iron. With increasing austempering time, volume fraction of retained austenite increased and is decreased after showed the peak value. Specimen with more Cu contents had a less quantity of retained austenite. Retained austenite transformed to martensite by subzero treatment. With decreasing subzero treatment temperature, retained austenite of specimens with more Cu contents transformed more Cu contents transformed more to martensite. With decreasing subzero treatment temperature the value of strength and hardness increased but the value of elongation and impact decreased. In this study, we could find that in subzero treated specimens an addition of Cu had a little of effect on the strength and the hardness but had very much effect on the value of the impact.
304L stainless Steel의 인장성질에 대한 변형온도 , 변형속도 및 결정입도의 영향

This investigation has been carried out to make clear the effect of deformation temperature, strain rate and grain size on the tensile properties of 304L stainless steel. Tensile properties of the metastable austenitic 304L steel remarkably influenced by deformation temperature. Tensile strength increased with decreasing deformation temperature and the elongation showed maximum value near 40℃. In order to obtain the high elongation, a large amount of deformation is available in austenite before martensitic transformation and the martensite has to be induced gradually. Tensile strength and elongation increased with decreasing grain size. The temperature representing the maximum elongation shifted to low temperature and the peak width of elongation became broaden with decreasing austenite grain size. The volume fraction of strain induced martensite decreased with decreasing austenite grain size. As the strain rate increase, the temperature representing the maximum elongation value shifted to high temperature and volume fraction of strain induced martensite decreased.
