Thermoelastic beam in modified couple stress thermoelasticity induced by laser pulse
Rajneesh Kumar,Shaloo Devi 사단법인 한국계산역학회 2017 Computers and Concrete, An International Journal Vol.19 No.6
In this study, the thermoelastic beam in modified couple stress theory due to laser source and heat flux is investigated. The beam are heated by a non-Guassian laser pulse and heat flux. The Euler Bernoulli beam theory and the Laplace transform technique are applied to solve the basic equations for coupled thermoelasticity. The simply-supported and isothermal boundary conditions are assumed for both ends of the beam. A general algorithm of the inverse Laplace transform is developed. The analytical results have been numerically analyzed with the help of MATLAB software. The numerically computed results for lateral deflection, thermal moment and axial stress due to laser source and heat flux have been presented graphically. Some comparisons have been shown in figures to estimate the effects of couple stress on the physical quantities. A particular case of interest is also derived. The study of laser-pulse find many applications in the field of biomedical, imaging processing, material processing and medicine with regard to diagnostics and therapy.

The purpose of this research paper is to depict the thermomechanical interactions in transversely isotropic magneto thermoelastic solid with two temperatures and without energy dissipation in generalized LS theories of thermoelasticity. The Laplace and Fourier transform techniques have been used to find the solution of the problem. The displacement components, stress components, and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are computed in the transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain numerically. The effect of two temperature and relaxation time are depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.
Decaying temperature and dynamic response of a thermoelastic nanobeam to a moving load
Zenkour, Ashraf M.,Abouelregal, Ahmed E. Techno-Press 2018 Advances in computational design Vol.3 No.1
The decaying temperature and dynamic response of a thermoelastic nanobeam subjected to a moving load has been investigated in the context of generalized theory of nonlocal thermoelasticity. The transformed distributions of deflection, temperature, axial displacement and bending moment are obtained by using Laplace transformation. By applying a numerical inversion method, the results of these fields are then inverted and obtained in the physical domain. Also, for a particular two models, numerical results are discussed and presented graphically. Some specific and special results are derived from the current study.

A general solution to the field equations of homogeneous isotropic generalized thermoelastic diffusion with two relaxation times (Green and Lindsay theory) has been obtained using the Fourier transform. Assuming the disturbances to be harmonically time.dependent, the transformed solution is obtained in the frequency domain. The application of a time harmonic concentrated and distributed loads have been considered to show the utility of the solution obtained. The transformed components of displacement, stress, temperature distribution and chemical potential distribution are inverted numerically, using a numerical inversion technique. Effect of diffusion on the resulting expressions have been depicted graphically for Green and Lindsay (G-L) and coupled (C-T) theories of thermoelasticity.

Laplace-Fourier transform techniques are used to investigate the interaction caused by mechanical, thermal and microstress sources in a generalized thermomicrostretch elastic medium with temperature-dependent mechanical properties. The modulus of elasticity is taken as a linear function of reference temperature. The integral transforms are inverted using a numerical technique to obtain the normal stress, tangential stress, tangential couple stress, microstress and temperature distribution. Effect of temperature dependent modulus of elasticity and thermal relaxation times have been depicted graphically on the resulting quantities. Comparisons are made with the results predicted by the theories of generalized thermoelasticity. Some particular cases are also deduced from the present investigation.

This investigation aims to examine the vibration phenomenon in 2D transversely isotropic homogeneous Euler-Bernoulli nonlocal nanobeam with laser pulse with new modified three-phase lag Green Naghdi (TPL GN) model. The model contains a material length scale parameter that can capture the size effect, using the nonlocal theory of thermoelasticity. Temperature is assumed to vary sinusoidally. Laplace Transforms are used to derive the non-dimensional expressions for lateral deflection, axial displacement, temperature distribution, axial stress, and thermal moment in the transformed domain, and numerical inversion techniques are used to find the expressions in the physical domain. The ends of the nanobeam are considered to be simply supported and have a constant temperature. Effect of new modified TPL GN heat transfer and nonlocal parameter is represented graphically for lateral deflection, axial displacement, temperature distribution, axial stress, and thermal moment using the MATLAB software. Few specific cases are also derived.

The present research deals in two dimensional (2D) transversely isotropic magneto generalized thermoelastic solid without energy dissipation and with two temperatures due to time harmonic sources in Lord-Shulman (LS) theory of thermoelasticity. The Fourier transform has been used to find the solution of the problem. The displacement components, stress components and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are calculated in transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain numerically. The effect of two temperature are depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.

This research is devoted to the study of plane wave propagation in homogeneous transversely isotropic (HTI) magneto-thermoelastic rotating medium with combined effect of Hall current and two temperature due to multi-dual-phase lag heat transfer. It is analysed that, for 2-D assumed model, three types of coupled longitudinal waves (quasi-longitudinal, quasi-transverse and quasi-thermal) are present. The wave characteristics like phase velocity, specific loss, attenuation coefficients, energy ratios, penetration depths and amplitude ratios of transmitted and reflected waves are computed numerically and illustrated graphically and compared for different theories of thermoelasticity. Some particular cases are also derived from this research.
