X3D Nodes for Representing and Rendering Real Characters in 3D Virtual Environments

This paper proposes and defines four eXtensible 3-dimensional (X3D) nodes to render real-world characters such as human being and animals in 3D virtual environments, which conform to the X3D standard format for representing and rendering real-world characters in virtual spaces, aiming to make them available as an extension of the X3D core nodes. Several examples are implemented to evaluate the effectiveness of the pro-posed X3D nodes. Implemented results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed X3D nodes as an extension of the X3D core components for rendering real characters in 3D virtual spaces.

This study aims to examine path-finding algorithms and spatial representation methods through examining characteristics of real-time evacuation route algorithms and weighted values that needed to be considered for the development of real-time evacuation algorithms. The considerations necessary to evaluate in real-time the spread of disaster and the safety level of each route are identified by looking into the real-time evacuation path-finding algorithms and the real-time weighted values. The study divides the spatial representation methods, which map out the actual space for digitalization, into a regular grid and node-link method. Path-finding algorithms are divided into blind search and heuristic search methods to check their limits and potentials for further development. In conclusion, the node-link method and A<SUP>*</SUP> algorithm, which are selected, are discussed.
Static Detection of False Data in the Power Grid by Fusing Structure and Attributes of Node

False data injection attack can evade the traditional state estimation in the power system, resulting in the historical data may have been polluted. Under such circumstances, the contaminated historical data cannot provide the priori data, so data-driven detection cannot be carried out. Hence, this paper proposes a static detection method of false data based on the similarity characteristics of network nodes at a certain time, where structure and attributes of nodes are fused to express nodes based on the egonet model of power grid. In addition, to improve the accuracy of clustering, the detection rate is adopted in the clustering method. The method is tested in IEEE118-bus and 2383-bus systems. The simulation results show that proposed method is effective, and can detect the possible false data injection problems in the power system over 80%.
