공공여가시설만족이 여가생활만족도에 미치는 영향 연구: 여가정책만족의 매개효과

This study aims at empirically analyzing the impact of the satisfaction on public leisure facilities of Korea people’s leisure life satisfaction. In particular, this is an effort to examine whether there exists any mediating effect of leisure policy satisfaction in that the satisfaction on public leisure facilities influences people’s leisure life satisfaction. For this purpose, the raw data entitled 「The 2018 Survey on Public Leisure Life of Korea」conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism were used. The target subjects chosen were 2,973 persons (1,705 males, 1,268 females) who were aged over 19 and had experienced using public leisure facilities. Along with socio-demographic variables (gender, age, schooling level, income level, and region), working environment variables (weekly 5-day work system, weekly working hours, and happiness level) were controlled for Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The result confirmed that the satisfaction on public leisure facilities and on leisure policy gave positive(+) influences. In addition, Path Analysis proved that leisure policy satisfaction showed a mediating effect in the course of examining the impact of satisfaction of public leisure facilities over leisure life satisfaction. Such results imply that practical public leisure facilities and related leisure policy, both of which can increase the quality of Korean people’s life, must go hand in hand to enhance their leisure life satisfaction. This study suggests that, in the public domain, policies and PR measures should be arranged for the minorities and isolated groups to enhance their accessability to public leisure facilities or leisure programs within their life zone. Furthermore, this study implies that, in order to overcome the regional differences in leisure life satisfaction, we should seek ways to increase satisfaction on public leisure facilities by establishing leisure policy based on the consideration of the characteristics of the residents in a given areas. 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 국민들의 공공여가시설만족이 여가생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석한 것이다. 특히 공공여가시설만족도가 여가생활만족도에 영향을 미치는데 여가정책만족도의 매개효과가 존재하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문화체육관광부가 실시한 「2018 국민여가활동조사」의 원시 자료를 활용하였고, 공공여가시설을 이용한 경험이 있는 19세 이상의 2,973명(남자 1,705명, 여자 1,268명)을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 인구사회학적 변수(성별, 연령, 학력수준, 소득수준, 지역)와 함께 근무환경변수(주5일제, 근무시간, 행복수준)를 통제한 다중회귀분석으로 연구한 결과, 공공여가시설만족도와 여가정책만족도는 여가생활만족도에 긍정적인 양(+)의 영향이 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 경로분석을 통해 공공여가시설만족도가 여가생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 여가정책만족도가 부분매개하는 효과가 존재함을 검증하였다. 이러한 결과는 여가생활만족도를 향상시키기 위해 국민의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 실질적인 공공여가시설과 관련 여가정책이 병행되어야함을 의미한다. 이를 위해서는 여가생활을 보장할 수 있는 법과 제도의 개선과 함께, 다양한 여가시설, 질 좋은 여가 프로그램 개발과 보급, 전문인력 양성 및 배치와 같은 인프라 구축이 반드시 필요하다. 또한 공공영역에서는 취약계층이나 소외계층의 생활권 내 공공여가시설 및 프로그램에 대한 접근성을 높일 수 있는 정책과 홍보 방안이 마련되어야 하며, 여가생활만족도의 지역적 차이를 극복하기 위해 지역민들의 특성을 고려한 여가정책 수립으로 공공여가시설만족도를 향상시키는 방안이 모색되어야 함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to identify variables which affect the leisure satisfaction of married women in South Korea. Multiple regression analysis was implemented using data from the 7th year of the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families (KLoWF). The paper examined the relationship between married women’s leisure satisfaction and other variables including demographic characteristics, economic characteristics, leisure characteristics, relationship-related characteristics, and environmental characteristics. Age, the presence of a preschool child, subjective economic status, employment status, leisure time, household labor satisfaction, gender role attitudes, couple communication, and community safety were determining factors of a married female's leisure satisfaction. However, the frequency of leisure participation and residential areas were not statistically significant. Based on these results, the study discusses practical implications that can increase the leisure satisfaction of married women. 본 연구의 목적은 기혼여성의 여가만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국여성정책연구원의 여성가족패널조사(Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families: KLoWF) 7차년도(2018년) 자료와 6차년도(2016년) 부가조사 자료를 사용하였다. 6차년도와 7차년도 조사에 모두 응답한 기혼여성 총 6,508명을 대상으로 하여 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석 시 기혼여성을 둘러싼 다양한 맥락을 고려하여 인구통계학적 특성, 경제적 특성, 여가 특성, 관계적 특성, 그리고 지역적 특성을 투입하였고, 각각의 독립변인이 여가만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 연령, 미취학자녀 유무, 주관적 경제상태, 취업여부, 여가시간, 가사노동 분담만족도, 가족 내 역할인식, 부부 의사결정 방식, 지역사회 안전의식이 기혼여성의 여가만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 연령이 높을수록, 미취학자녀가 없는 경우, 주관적 경제상태가 좋을수록, 취업을 하지 않은 경우, 여가시간이 많을수록, 가사노동 분담만족도가 높을수록, 가족 내 역할에 있어 평등함을 추구할수록, 부부가 여가활동에 대한 의사결정을 함께 할수록, 지역사회 안전의식이 높을수록 기혼여성의 여가만족도가 상승하였다. 반면에 여가빈도와 주거지역은 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보여주지 않았다. 이상의 결과는 기혼여성, 그중에서도 취업여성과 미취학자녀를 둔 여성의 환경과 여건에 맞는 여가정책이 시급히 요구됨을 시사한다. 여가빈도보다는 여가시간의 확보가 여가만족도를 높이는 데 효과적이므로 기혼여성의 가사 및 돌봄노동 시간 자체를 감소시키는 정책적 지원이 필요하다. 또한, 기혼여성의 여가만족도에 있어 관계적 특성과 지역적 특성이 중요하게 작용하기에 가족과 여성 개인이 공존하는 문화와 여성에게 안전한 생활환경 조성의 필요성을 제언한다.

우리나라 국민들의 여가인식과 행복의 관계에서 여가정책만족도의 매개효과

This study investigated the mediating effect of leisure policy satisfaction in the relationship between leisure consciousness and happiness with the purpose of providing basic data for establishing a systematic and evaluating leisure policies for the happy life of the people. In addition, specific leisure policy satisfaction factors affecting happiness were identified. To this end, a sample of 9,469 adults in their 20s or older was used for the final analysis based on the data from the 2020 Survey on National Leisure Activity. Using SPSS 27.0, frequency analyses, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, Process Macro 3.4 ver, Model 4 and multiple regression analyses were conducted. The conclusions drawn through these research procedures and methods are as follows. First, it was found that leisure policy satisfaction had a mediating effect in the relationship between leisure consciousness and happiness. Next, among leisure policy satisfaction factors, diversity of leisure facilities, legal guarantee of holidays and vacations, and program development and dissemination were found to have a positive effect on happiness in the order of satisfaction. On the other hand, club foster and support showed a negative effect on happiness. Therefore, starting with a positive perception of leisure, effective leisure policies that reflect the satisfaction and desires of the people should be continuously and actively devised and implemented. Through this, I hope that all of our people will be able to get closer to a more prosperous and happy life.
