공동주택 내 온열환경 제어기준을 통한 냉방기기 운전 시 거주자 쾌적성에 관한 연구

For modern people who spend most of their time indoors, the comfort of the indoor environment is very important. High energy use for maintaining comfort in summer is becoming a problem and the temperature control does not satisfy residents’ comfort. For the purpose of reducing the use of air-conditioner and enhancing comfort, an experiment is performed through the control survey of the various indexes of evaluation of indoor areas and the residents’ questionnaires. All control criteria experiments are conducted six times per hour every ten minutes and 84 data are collected and analyzed per day for 4 days in a row. The operating patterns of the air-conditioner derived from control by control criteria is analyzed with the residents’ comfort. As a result, rather than controlling only a single control criteria, it indicates that there is a need for mutual supplementation between indexes of evaluation. It seems to be necessary to analyze the amount of power consumption of air-conditioner in the future. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the control criteria for decreasing use of air-conditioner and the improving resident‘s comfort by means of a control experiment by the control criteria.

The sales volume of eco-friendly vehicles such as EVs has been dramatically increased by government policy, the conventional vehicles, however, still account for 96.7% of the total registered. The government needs not only to promote eco-friendly vehicles in the market but also to reduce energy use for the registered ICE vehicles. This study provides the fuel economy results according to various HVAC operating conditions with outdoor temperature to find out the proper usage to improve fuel economy. The results show that it is irrelevant to vehicle fuel economy to operate temperature of HVAC. Additionally, using the air conditioner in summer is worse than heating in winter, and the fuel economy of phase 2 with frequent stop-and-go at low speeds is worse than that of phase 1 on FTP-75 mode when the air conditioner is working.
실험을 통한 이동형 냉방기의 실내 온도분포 특성의 검토

The purpose of this study is to analyze the indoor temperature distribution of a room controlled by a personal and portable cooler. As an energy saving strategy, the personal air-conditioning or task conditioning system was developed and installed in office buildings in the 90 s. Many research results regarding the personal air-conditioning (PAC) system were focused on thermal comfort, localized ventilation efficiency and energy savings. However, the conventional PACs were only developed for application in office buildings. In this study, as a type of PAC, a portable cooler was analyzed in terms of indoor temperature distribution changes with the passage of time. The measurement was performed in a bedroom in an apartment house. The results showed that indoor temperature was controlled at about 24℃ around the human body. However, the ambient zone up to 1.5 m away from the the human body stayed at about 27.5℃.

Building energy efficiency rating system about the feild of building occupying 25% of total energy consumption has been implemented in order to meet the convention of energy saving and climate change in Korea. In particular, the electricity consumption in summer get bigger by the increase of the air-conditioners at the apartment occupying 41.4% of the residential facility types. Meanwhile, it is possible to get the certification without the information of cooling machines for the Building Energy Efficiency Rating. Otherwise, it must be included in terms of the certificaiton in the case of the construction company. In this case, even though the primary energy requirement is increased, the criteria of rating is applied eually regardless of air-conditoner. Installation of air-conditioners by consturction companies will be suggested strongly for the residents" comfort and easy construction. Therefore, this paper analyze the effect of air-conditioners for Building Energy Efficiency Rating.

The simplified modeling used to describe the energy behavior of a thermoelectric system does not take into account the Thomson effect. This hypothesis is no longer valid in the case where the temperature differences are high. As a result, it can induce significant errors in the estimation of performance, and in particular the maximum COP. The latter are generally expressed as a function of the merit factor, determined from the characteristics of the material. By integrating the Thomson effect, new expressions are defined defining the optimal operating conditions. It is observed that the Thomson effect is poorly taken into account in the case of the material studied (Bi₂Te₃), when the Seebeck coefficient is assumed to be constant. It is then necessary to add to the model the dependence with respect to the temperature of the faces of the Seebeck coefficient. A new merit factor is thus obtained, which is no longer an intrinsic property of the material, because it also depends on the temperature.

Natural gas plays a great role in the national energy economy. and the efficiency improvement of gas devices is becoming more and more important. In this study, the necessity and effect of supplying high-efficiency natural gas devices were investigated for CNG buses, gas boiler, and gas cooling. Considering energy consumption and environment, the necessity of improving the efficiency of these three devices was found to be very great for rational use of energy.
