<P>We examined whether 8-(tosylamino)quinoline (8-TQ), a structural analogue of BAY 11-7082, is able to modulate various tumourigenic responses using various in vitro and in vivo experimental conditions. 8-TQ exhibited the strongest suppressive activity on the proliferation of C6, A431, HeLa and MDA-MB-231 cells with IC550 values ranging from 10 to 30 microM. According to the analysis of level of active caspase-3, and morphologies of C6, HeLa and MDA-MB-231 cells, it was revealed that 8-TQ is able to induce apoptosis. Furthermore, this compound strongly diminished the invasion of MDA-MB-231 cells, the migration of HeLa cells, and the new generation of blood vessels under non-toxic conditions. Reduction of the phospho-form levels of intracellular signalling enzymes by 8-TQ strongly indicated that molecular signalling machineries composed of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/phosphoinositide-dependent kinase-1 (PDK1)/Akt and extracellular-signal-regulated kinase (ERK) could be targeted by 8-TQ treatment. Indeed, the specific inhibitors (LY294002 and U0126) of PI3K/PDK1/Akt and ERK showed similar anti-cancer properties to 8-TQ. Finally, 8-TQ intraperitoneally injected suppressed the increase of tumour volume up to 40% compared to vehicle-treated control. Taken together, our results clearly suggest that 8-TQ might have applications as a novel anti-cancer drug or may be served as a lead compound to be further optimized.</P>
IEEE 802.11ax 무선랜에서 하향링크 성능 향상을 위한 CCA 임계치 동적 제어 기법

IEEE 802.11ax 표준에서는 DSC(Dynamic Sensitivity Control)를 사용하여 단말이 밀집된 환경에서의 채널 효율을 향상시킨다. 이러한 방식은 상향링크에 있어 더 많은 기회를 부여하고 높은 성능을 보이지만 하향링크에 있어서는 상향링크에 비해 훨씬 낮은 성능을 보여 불공정하다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 DSC 하향링크에서의 성능 향상 방안을 위해 동적인 CCA 임계치 조절 방법을 제안한다. The IEEE 802.11ax standard uses DSC(Dynamic Sensitivity Control) to improve channel efficiency in environments where stations are dense. Although this method gives more opportunities in uplink and shows high performance, in downlink, it shows much lower performance than in uplink, so there is a problem in that it is unfair. This paper proposes a dynamic CCA threshold adjustment method for performance improvement in DSC downlink.

본 연구는 합기도 수련생을 대상으로 합기도장 선택속성의 중요도와 실행도를 분석하여 이를 통해 우선적으로 개선해야 하는 부분에 대해 파악하고 이를 개선하여 지속적으로 수련생의 참여를 지속시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하는데 있어 기초자료로 활용되는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수도권지역에 소재하고 있는 합기도장 10개업체의 20대이상의 수련생 450명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 최종 회수 된 392부(87.1%)를 실제 분석에 사용하였다. 회수된 설문지는 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적요인분석, IPA분석을 실시하였으며, 그결과는 다음과 같다. Ⅰ사분면에서는 실내안전, 주위권유, 추가비용, 실내청결, 성실성, 전문성 6개속성이 포함되었으며, Ⅱ사분면에서는 이동거리, 교통편의의 2개 속성이 포함되었다. Ⅲ사분면에서는 도장층수, 도장홍보, 주차시설, 실내환기, 이용요금, 부대시설, 성별/학력 총 7개 항목이 포함되었고 Ⅳ사분면에서는 태도, 친절성, 차별홍보, 도장평판, 장비마련의 5개 속성이 포함되었다. The purpose of this study is basic data and its utilization to organize for the maintanance of trainee``s constant participation by analyzing what parts should be improved according to priority using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) from Hapkido trainees. For this study, 450 trainees who are above 20s participating in Hapkido of 10 gymnasiums in capatal regions were selected for the questionnaire survey. A total 329(87.1%) of copies were used for the final analysis and it was conducted by FA(Frequency analysis), EFA(Explatory Factor Analysis), RA(Realiablity Analysis), CFA(Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results of the analysis are as follows: The variables of Quadrant 1 were composed of contained indoor safety, recommendation, extra cost, indoor cleanness, Integrity and professionalism and the variables of Quadrant 2 were Moving distance and Traffic convenient facility. The variables of Quadrant 3 were composed of contained the Number of Floor, Promotion, Parking facility, Ventilation, Cost, Subsidiry facilities and Gender/Academic degree and variables of Quadrant 4 were Attitudes, Hospitality, Distintive promotion, Reputation and Equipment.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>We propose a universal model for bias-stress (BS)-induced instability in the inkjet-printed carbon nanotube (CNT) networks used in field-effect transistors (FETs). By combining two experimental methods, i.e., a comparison between air and vacuum BS tests and interface trap extraction, BS instability is explained regardless of either the BS polarity or ambient condition, using a single platform constituted by four key factors: OH<SUP>−</SUP> adsorption/desorption followed by a change in carrier concentration, electron concentration in CNT channel corroborated with H<SUB>2</SUB>O/O<SUB>2</SUB> molecules in ambient, charge trapping/detrapping, and interface trap generation. Under negative BS (NBS), the negative threshold voltage shift (ΔV<SUB>T</SUB>) is dominated by OH<SUP>−</SUP> desorption, which is followed by hole trapping in the interface and/or gate insulator. Under positive BS (PBS), the positive ΔV<SUB>T</SUB> is dominated by OH<SUP>−</SUP> adsorption, which is followed by electron trapping in the interface and/or gate insulator. This instability is compensated by interface trap extraction; PBS instability is slightly more complicated than NBS instability. Furthermore, our model is verified using device simulation, which gives insights on how much each mechanism contributes to BS instability. Our result is potentially useful for the design of highly stable CNT-based flexible circuits in the Internet of Things wearable healthcare era.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> We proposed a bias stress induced instability model for CNT FETs in air/vacuum. </LI> <LI> The V<SUB>T</SUB> shift is composed of ad/desorption of OH<SUP>−</SUP>, electron/hole trapping, and D<SUB>it.</SUB> </LI> <LI> We verified our model by using device simulation. </LI> <LI> We provides insight into how much each mechanism contributes to instability. </LI> <LI> Our model is useful for stable flexible circuit designs in wearable healthcare era. </LI> </UL> </P>
Plasmonic nano lithography with a high scan speed contact probe

<P>We demonstrate plasmonic lithography with an optical contact probe to achieve high speed patterning without external gap distance control between the probe and the photoresist. The bottom surface of the probe is covered with a 10 nm thickness silica glass film for the gap distance control and coated with self-assembled monolayer (SAM) to reduce friction between the probe and the photoresist. We achieve a patterning resolution of ~50 nm and a patterning speed of ~10 mm/s. We obtain the quality of line patterning comparable to that in conventional optical lithography.</P>
