On Zeros and Fixed Points of Differences of Meromorphic Functions
Zhang, Guowei,Qi, Jianming,Zheng, Yiyuan Department of Mathematics 2018 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.58 No.4
In this paper, we give some results on the zeros and fixed points of the difference and the divided difference of transcendental meromorphic functions. This improves on results of Langley.

To analyze the components of the fatty oilextracted from Antrodia camphorata fungus powder and toevaluate the antioxidant activity of A. camphorata crudeoil. A derivatized gas chromatography mass spectrometry(GC–MS) was developed for the quantification of 19 fattyacids in extracts of A. camphorata obtained by supercriticalcarbon dioxide (SC-CO2). Good separation was obtainedunder the optimized chromatographic conditions and 19target compounds after methyl-esterification were identifiedby GC–MS on a HP-VOC capillary column(60 m 9 320 lm 9 1.8 lm) with an initial temperatureset at 80 C. The validity of the established method wasexamined experimentally with good linearity, intra-assayprecisions, repeatability, stability and recovery. The antioxidantactivity of A. camphorata crude oil was evaluatedby 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavengingassay. Nineteen fatty acids showed good linearityover the tested ranges (r[0.9956) and the recovery rangedfrom 93.47 to 104.89 %. The crude oil extracted from A. camphorata fungus powder also revealed its antioxidantactivity. It was the report about simultaneous determinationof 19 fatty acids in A. camphorata and antioxidant activityof its crude oil for the first time. The established methodmight also be utilized for the investigation of edible plantmaterials and agricultural products containing fatty acids.

Renal ischemia-reperfusion injury (RI/R) is one of the main causes of acute renal injury and a commonclinical disease with high morbidity and mortality. It is of great significance to deliver microRNAs(miRNAs) to cells and in vivo to realize gene regulation and treatment of related diseases. In this study, wereported that the nanocomplex FMN-17 could realize both therapeutic and functional monitoringsimultaneously in vivo and in vitro. The nanocomplex comprised a cationic cell-penetrating peptidenona-arginine, a targeting ligand folic acid, a caspase-3 responsive moiety, and a Cy imaging moiety. Thenanocomplex FMN-17 has been shown to deliver miR-17-5p efficiently and selectively into HK-2 cells andtissues. Treatment of HK-2 cells with the nanocomplex significantly increased the miR-17-5p level andinhibited apoptosis, as evident by reducing the expression of active caspase-3 and reactive oxygenspecies. Uptake of FMN-17 in vivo alleviated renal tissue injury by histological assessment. In summary,we designed and synthesized a new miRNA delivery system with high transfection efficiency, goodtherapeutic effect, and near-infrared imaging in renal ischemia/reperfusion injury.
