      • Comparative Study Based on Two Kinds of Mobile Ad Hoc Network Routing Protocols

        A mobile ad hoc network is a special kind of wireless mobile communication network, featuring equal status of all terminals, ad hoc, no need for prior arrangement of any network facilities or central control nodes, dynamically changing topology and bandwidth and energy restriction. In recent years, research on mobile ad hoc networks, especially research on media access control and routing protocols have research focus. In this paper, the well-known on-demand routing protocol AODV is analyzed and is improved as AODV-CLMP, with a simulation platform used to evaluate its performance, with some meaningful conclusions drawn. In this paper, the origin, characteristics, application and current development of mobile ad hoc networks are introduced briefly, followed by research on two kinds of well-known on-demand routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks, i.e. AODV and AODV-CLMP. Finally, commonly used network simulation software is compared to conduct evaluation and analysis of the performance of the AODV and AODV-CLMP protocols. Through the analysis of the simulation result of such evaluation indicators as average end-to-end delay, packet delivery fraction and throughput, the following conclusions are drawn: the average delay, packet deliveryfractionand throughput of AODV-CLMP protocol are superior to those ofAODV protocol, indicating thatAODV-CLMP protocol can transmit information more rapidly and steadily.

      • Design of Hospital EMR Management System

        In order to eliminate the drawbacks of EMR system management, this paper proposes an EMR system management model based on SNMP. The data of network management, which is stored in the Web page or Web server database, is collected by SNMP from MIB library. The information resources of the system, can not only be monitored by the management station through reading the values of the information database, but can be controlled by modifying certain values. The network and system can be managed, monitored, maintained and reported by using the Internet technologies of Web server, browser, and so on, so that the main control room of the hospital can communicate with other departments in computers and finally to achieve overall monitoring and integrated management. It can not only protect the EMR system to operate secure and stable, but also can reduce the cost of network management.

        Mycosis Fungoides and Variants of Mycosis Fungoides: A Retrospective Study of 93 Patients in a Chinese Population at a Single Center

        Background: Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common types of cutaneous T cell lymphoma. It typically presents with erythematous patches and plaques in the early stage and tumors and extracutaneous involvement with possibly fatal outcomes in the late stage. To facilitate early and accurate diagnosis of MF, it is essential to be knowledgeable of classic and variants of this disease. However, there is limited published data in the Chinese population. Objective: To characterize our patient group and to provide additional insight into these malignancies. Methods: Patients diagnosed with mycosis fungoides and its variants from October 2012 to January 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Disease-specific survival (DSS) rate and curve according to early and advanced stages were also calculated. Results: The mean age at diagnosis of ninety-three MF patients was 38.9±1.73 years (range: 6∼77). Forty-five males (48.4%) and 48 females (51.6 %) were included in this study. The DSS rate of early- stage MF was 98.6%, while that of advanced stage MF was 88.9%. There was a significant difference in DSS rate between early stage and advanced stage MF (p=0.042, logrank test). The median age of 10 patients with hypopigmented MF (hMF) was 10.5 years (range: 6∼28). The age of hMF was younger than that of classical MF patients (p <0.05). Conclusion: Early-stage MF has a better prognosis than advanced stage and hMF affects younger people than classic MF among Chinese.       • Fundamental Frequency Tracking of Distorted Power Signal Based on the Improved EKF Algorithm

        To reduce the impacts of harmonics and noises on frequency measurements, a novel method of frequency tracking is presented based on improved EKF algorithm and wavelet transform. Firstly, the power signal was preprocessed to extract the fundamental wave by wavelet filtering. Then, an improved Extended Kalman Filter was introduced to achieve fast and accurate frequency tracking. By adding a robust factor and modifying the covariance matrix in real time, it enhanced the stability for detecting distorted signals. The proposed tracking algorithm can effectively solve the problems of traditional Extended Kalman Filter such as lack of adaptability, instability and divergence. And it improved the tracking speed and accuracy. Finally, Detailed simulations on several typical models of power signals have been carried out and the Simulation results shown that the new algorithm increases the speed, convergence and accuracy. It effectively suppresses the impacts of harmonics and noises on the frequency tracking results.

        Product labels are one way for advertisers to provide information to purchasers on product quality (Atkinson & Rosenthal, 2014). Label policies have been issued to promote information disclosure on food products in some developed countries. Recent years have also seen increasing attempts to promote healthy eating in emerging markets. In China, nutrition labels became mandatory under the nutrition labeling acts. The laws require nutrition information to be presented at the point of purchase as well as in establishments where food is prepared or consumed. Additionally, similar actions were taken by India (India Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 2011), Mercosur members and in South Africa (Brazilian Ministry of Health, 2012; Institute of Food Technologists [IFT], 2011).

        Hierarchical porous composites derived from spent tire char for CO2 capture: K-N co-doped, process intensification and thermodynamic analysis

        Spent tire is a kind of solid waste with large production, accumulation and great pollution. Spent tire charis the primary product of tire harmless disposal. Its commercial value is enhanced by modification. In thisstudy, K-N co-doped activated carbon was prepared by using spent tire char as raw material, KOH andmelamine as activator and dopant to enhance CO2 capture. In comparison with traditional process, thereasons for the decrease in specific surface area and pore volume caused by K doped have been identified,and a potential doped mechanism has been proposed. It was determined that pyridine nitrogen in theamino functional group played a key role in CO2 adsorption. Meanwhile, the synergistic intensificationof CO2 adsorption by potassium phenolic and pyridine nitrogen was verified by simplified model simulation. The precise K-N doping significantly intensify the CO2 adsorption capacity of spent tire char from0.45 to 2.60 mmol/g (1 bar, 0℃), an increase of 4.78 times. Thermodynamic studies have demonstratedthat the Langmuir model accurately describes the adsorption process, and the adsorption reaction takesplace spontaneously at temperatures below 80.52 C. This work presents an efficient process for upgradingspent tire char, and a novel method of co-treating waste and CO2.

        Efficient removal of methylene blue via two-step modification hazelnut shell biochar: Process intensification, kinetics and thermodynamics

        Porous carbon materials with ultra-high specific surface area and adjustable pore structure characteristicswere prepared from food industry waste hazelnut shells for the adsorption of methylene blue (MB)wastewater by two-step activation by impregnation with ZnCl2 followed by chemical activation withKOH. The Fusso effect, which can reduce the size of MB molecules, was further used to enhance theadsorption of MB on porous carbon. The results show that both HSBC-a and HSBC-a-b have ultra-highspecific surface area (2979.59 m2/g for HSBC-a, 2882.73 m2/g for HSBC-a-b). The mesopore ratio ofHSBC-a-b (Vmeso/Vtotal % = 14.05%) was doubled compared to HSBC-a. It showed an excellent adsorptionperformance of 694.03 mg/g for MB. It showed a fast adsorption kinetics and the adsorbed amountincreased to 882.46 mg/g at 0.1 M NaCl solution. In addition, adsorption processes were studied usingadsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm model fitting. The results of this research confirm that hazelnutshell is a kind of promising and sustainable porous carbon raw material, and its ultra-high specificsurface area and adjustable pore structure characteristics are favorable for the efficient treatment ofMB from dyeing wastewater. This work could provide potential guidance for the high-value utilizationof waste hazelnut shell biochar.
