This study was carried out to develop the index and the scales for the evaluation of the group occupational health services(GOHS). The possible variables of each step, firstly, based on an evaluation model composed of four steps, input, throughout, output and outcome, were selected through several meetings of professional committee. And five types of questionnaire(for doctor, nurse, industrial hygienist, employer, and employee) were developed based on the selected variables. A pilot survey for four GOHS institutions and 12 enterprises was conducted using the questionnaires and correlation analysis for extracting variables was done. The results were as follows: 1.The evaluation scale was composed of three areas(evaluation on workers' health and work environment, evaluation by institution and employer, and evaluation by employee)which were devided into ten subscales. 2.Among firstly selected ninety-six variables, forty-three variables (11 for input, 14 for throughout, and 18 for output indices) were extracted by correlation analysis. 3.Based on the extracted variables, the questionnaires were simplified as five items for doctor, thirty-six items for nurse, nine items for industrial hygienist, and twenty-six items for employer and employee. 4.The total score of evaluation model was defined on the basis of four-hundred points as sum of four indices (input, throughout, output and outcome) given one-hundred points each.
The Vibration Controller Design using Positive Position Feedback Control

We propose vibration controller design using positive position feedback (PPF) control. The five pairs of electromagnetic actuators and sensors are used to control strip vibration. Strip was modeled using finite element modeling (FEM). To reduce the order of the large scale model, the Krylov subspace technique was used. To control the vibration, PPF control was applied. The stability condition for MIMO system was derived to calculate the controller gain. Which shows the relationship between the DC gain of the controller and that of the strip system. Experiments shows the effectiveness of the proposed controller compared to convetional PID controller.
Expression of Caspase Family in the Endometrium during the Estrous Cycle and Pregnancy in Pigs

Caspases are a family of protease enzymes that play an essential role in apoptosis. Caspases can be subdivided to two groups. One is initiator caspases which include caspase 8 (CASP8), caspase 9 (CASP9) and caspase 10 (CASP10), and the other is executioner caspases which include caspase 3 (CASP3), caspase 6 (CASP6) and caspase 7 (CASP7). Once activated by death signaling proteins, initiator caspases cleave and activate downstream executioner caspases, which in turn execute apoptosis by cleaving targeted critical cellular proteins. In many studies, the caspase family is involved in cell proliferation and apoptosis and the expression of caspases is regulated by steroid hormones in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy in mammals. However, the expression and function of caspases have not been determined in the porcine endometrium. Thus, to initiate the study on the role of caspases in the endometrium, we characterized the expression of caspases in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy in pigs. We obtained endometrial tissue samples from glits on day (D) 12 and D15 of the estrous cycle and from D12, D15, D30, D60, D90 and D114 of pregnancy. Real-time RT-PCR analysis showed that the expression of CASP3, CASP6, CASP7, CASP8, CASP9 and CASP10 mRNAs was detected in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy. Especially, levels of CASP3 mRNA were higher on D12 of pregnancy than the estrous cycle. To investigate the effects of steroid hormones, estrogen and progesterone, on expression of caspase, endometrial tissue explants from immature pigs were treated with steroid hormones. Increasing doses of progesterone, CASP7 mRNA increased but, decreased CASP8 and CASP10 mRNAs. In addition, increasing doses of IL1B upregulated the expression of CASP3 mRNA in the endometrium. Furthermore, immunohistochemistry analysis showed that CASP3 protein was localized to the luminal and glandular epithelial cells in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy. These results indicate that caspases are expressed in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy in a stage-depedent manner, and the expression of some caspase in the endometrium is regulated by steroid hormone or cytokine. Further analysis of localization and functions of caspase families at endometrium are needed.

Caspases are a family of cysteine protease enzymes composed of more than 10 members that play essential roles in apoptosis and inflammation. It has been reported that caspases play a critical role in regulating apoptosis at the maternal-conceptus interface in many species. However, the expression and regulation of caspases have not been determined in the endometrium in pigs. Therefore, we analyzed the expression, localization, and regulation of caspases in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy in pigs. Real-time RT-PCR analysis showed that caspases were expressed in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy. The expression of CASP6, CASP7, and CASP8 during the estrous cycle and CASP3, CASP6, CASP7, and CASP10 changed during pregnancy. Levels of CASP3 mRNA in the endometrium were higher on Day 12 of pregnancy than the estrous cycle and levels of CASP7 mRNAs were highest on Day 15 of estrous cycle and pregnancy. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that CASP3 protein was localized to endometrial epithelial cells on Days 12 and 15 the estrous cycle and pregnancy, but cleaved CASP3 was localized only to luminal epithelial (LE) cells on Days 12 and 15 of pregnancy in the endometrium. CASP7 protein was localized to endometrial LE cells only on Day 15 of pregnancy. CASP3, CASP6, CASP7, CASP8, and CASP10 mRNAs were detectable in conceptus on D12 and D15 of pregnancy, and chorioallantoic tissues expressed CASP3, CASP6, CASP7, CASP8, CASP8, and CASP10 with increasing levels toward term pregnancy, except CASP3 mRNA. The effect of steroid hormones and interleukin-1βß (IL1B) on CASP3 expression and the effect of interferon-γ(IFNG) on CASP7 expression was determined by endometrial explant cultures and we found that CASP3 expression was increased by IL1B and CASP7 expression was increased by IFNG in a dose-dependent manner. These results showed that caspases were expressed in the endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy in a stage- and/or pregnancy-specific dependent manner and some caspases were regulated by IL1B or IFNG in the endometrial tissues, suggesting that caspase may play an important role in regulating apoptosis for the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy at the maternal-conceptus interface in pigs.
Temperature Monitoring system for Inductive Heater Oven

This paper describes numerical model for inductive heating oven and temperature monitoring system for Color Coating Line. For induction heating, the heat generation is concentrated within skin depth so exponentially decaying heat distribution was assumed. To calculate and to monitor the oven exit temperature, measurement system was installed on the inductive heater oven including pyrometer and several thermocouples . The experimental result showed the effectiveness of the developed mathematical model.

본 연구는 내용적으로 고품질인 슬라이드를 구분하고 분류하기 위해, 슬라이드의 지식정보를 내포하는 지식구조를 이용하는 분류 방법을 제안한다. 지식구조가 슬라이드의 내용적 품질정보를 내포하는지에 대해서 분석한 후, 그 결과로부터 지식구조를 이용한 분류 방법을 개발하였고, 슬라이드의 품질별로 분류한 결과를 비교하였다. 비교를 통해 고품질군에 속하는 슬라이드일수록 높은 품질의 슬라이드 위주로 분류할 수 있다는 점을 검증하였다. 이는 품질이 높은 슬라이드 위주로 검색하거나 추천하고자 할 때, 지식구조라는 인지적 모형을 활용하여 그 효과를 높일 수 있음을 보여준다. In order to discern and classify high-quality slides, our research proposes a classification method that utilizes a knowledge structure containing information on the presentation slides. After analyzing whether our knowledge structure captures the content"s quality information, we developed a classification method based on the knowledge structure produced from the analysis results. With the proposed method, we compared results classified by quality of presentation slides. Through this comparison, we verified that the slides in the high quality group could be classified and were able to retrieve high quality slides. The results show that, by utilizing the cognitive model of a knowledge structure, our method can increase the effectiveness of classification when search or recommendation is conducted mainly with high-quality slides.
