        The Research of Platform Vibration Characteristics based on Numerical Wave Simulation

        Fluent and ANSYS Workbench platfrom are applicated to make a research on the time course of jack-up drilling platform under extreme wave load. Track free surface with UDF macro and VOF method. Establish numerical wave flume with the function of wave generation and wave absorbing to simulate limit value linear wave and third order Stokes wave. Flow field physical model of jack-up drilling platfrom and trussed legs are established to study the time course of wave load under wave impact. Analyze wave pressure and speed distribution of the field around trussed legs and platform and calculate the stress distribution of platform structure under wave load. The calculating results of wave load will provide a basis for evaluating the influence of wave load to drilling platfrom and designing drilling platfrom rationally.

      • Improved RFID Middleware Architecture and Optimal Algorithm based on Internet of Things

        Internet of things is a wireless data communications technology, while radio frequency identification (RFID) is an emerging technology in the automatic identification of the Internet of things. In fact, it means the use of RFID system identification technology through the Internet to achieve the application of information interconnection and sharing. In this paper, the author analyzes an improved RFID middleware architecture and optimal algorithm based on internet of things. Through the analysis of RFID middleware technology, we put forward an optimized load balancing algorithm. The results show that the optimization algorithm is superior to the existing algorithms in the average time of load balancing and label processing.

        Experimental research on seismic behavior of steel reinforced high-strength concrete short columns

        This experimental research presents the seismic performance of steel reinforced high-strength concrete (SRHC) short columns. Eleven SRHC column specimens were tested under simulated earthquake loading conditions, including six short column specimens and five normal column specimens. The parameters studied included the axial load level, stirrup details and shear span ratio. The failure modes, critical region length, energy dissipation capacity and deformation capacity, stiffness and strength degradation and shear displacement of SRHC short columns were analyzed in detail. The effects of the parameters on seismic performance were discussed. The test results showed that SRHC short columns exhibited shear-flexure failure characteristics. The critical region length of SRHC short columns could be taken as the whole column height, regardless of axial load level. In comparison to SRHC normal columns, SRHC short columns had weaker energy dissipation capacity and deformation capacity, and experienced faster stiffness degradation and strength degradation. The decrease in energy dissipation and deformation capacity due to the decreasing shear span ratio was more serious when the axial load level was higher. However, SRHC short columns confined by multiple stirrups might possess good seismic behavior with enough deformation capacity (ultimate drift ratio ≥ 2.5%), even though a relative large axial load ratio (= 0.38) and relative small structural steel ratio (= 3.58%) were used, and were suitable to be used in tall buildings in earthquake regions.

        Effects of ε-polylysine and rosemary extract on quality attributes and microbial communities in vacuum-packaged large yellow croaker (Pseudosciaena crocea) during ice storage

        The effects of vacuum package combined with0.1% e-polylysine and 0.2% rosemary extract (V ? RP) onthe quality attributes and microbial communities of largeyellow croaker (Pseudosciaena crocea) during ice storagewere investigated. The quality was evaluated by chemicalcharacteristics (total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N),K-value and biogenic amines (BAs)), microbiologicalindexes (Total viable counts (TVC), Shewanella bacteriacounts, Pseudomonas bacteria counts, Psychrophilic bacteriacounts (PBC)), changes in microbial compositionwere analyzed using high-throughput sequencing. Resultsshowed that the increase of TVB-N, K-value, microorganismsand BAs could be inhibited by V ? RP. Psychrobacterand Pseudomonas were detected in all samples. Shewanella increases rapidly in the middle of storage. Vagococcus and Shewanella were related to the decompositionof ATP, the formation of BAs, and TVB-N,respectively. In conclusion, V ? RP presented the optimaleffects, which could extend the shelf life of large yellowcroaker for another 9 days compared with the control.

        Research on Meshfree Method for Analyzing Seal Behavior of a T-DGS

        This paper presents a novel approach through the Meshfree weak-strong method based on radial basis function, to calculate the distribution of dimensionless pressure of T-groove dry gas seal (T-DGS). In order to avoid a singularity and improve the accuracy of results, linear polynomials were added into the radial basis interpolation and described gas film stress of T-DGS in the form of explicit function characterization. The opening force, gas film stiffness and leakage rate were obtained by the Matlab calculation program. Compared with the related literature, the error was less than 5%, indicating the feasibility of the simulation. The systematic simulation was used to analyze the multi-parameters for T-DGS under different working conditions. The results revealed the influence mechanism of the pressure, rotational speed, groove depth, film thickness and groove number on the sealing performance. By means of the 3D distribution diagrams of the sealing dynamic and static pressure, we found that dry gas seal could well adapt to high speed condition and the formation mechanism of dry gas seal opening force.

        A review of the migration mechanisms of microplastics in terrestrial environments

        Microplastic (MP) release into the terrestrial environment has occurred since humans started manufacturing and using plastics. These tiny plastic particles can be found in various media, including the atmosphere, soil, freshwater, sediments, and organisms. MPs migrate through terrestrial environmental media due to wind, water, gravity, and biological processes. Although the variables that affect the migration process have been investigated in various settings, the mechanisms of MP migration in terrestrial environments have yet to be systematically characterized. This study classifies the migration mechanisms of MPs as physical, chemical and biological manners, and discusses the factors affecting migration mechanisms in dynamic factors, environmental factors and MP characteristics. Examining the action mechanisms of migration can establish a foundation for understanding the migration processes of MPs and provide a theoretical framework for modeling MP movement in environmental. Future research challenges include understanding the effect of MP characteristics in the migration process and simulating the migration of MPs in the environment in the long-term. Exploring the MP migration on various spatial and temporal scales, considering the life cycle of MPs is a worthy research direction.

      • Fisher Linear Discriinant Method for Forest Fire Risk Points on Transmission Line

        With the continuous expansion of power grid, a large number of transmission lines through forests. Forest fire disasters seriously threaten the safe, economic and stable operation of power grid, so that the demand of discriminating fire risk points in transmission line corridors is getting more and more imperative. In this paper, a Fisher discriminant analysis method was put forward based on multivariate statistical analysis to assess the status of forest fire risk points. Firstly, impact factors on forest fire were defined. Secondly, the correlation between impact factors and the stability of fire risk point was analyzed with the historical material of forest fire. Next, multidimensional variables of the stability of fire risk point were turned into one-dimensional variables by projection method. Finally, the distances between one-dimensional variables were calculated and used to discriminate the status of stability of fire risk points. In a case in Shanxi province, this method has been verified.

      • Numerical Simulating Long-Distance Emergency Rescue System for Belt Fire in Coal Mine

        The belt fire in coal mine has the characteristics of fast burning velocity, not easily extinguishing a fire and generating a great deal of poisonous and toxic gas. Once the belt fire happens, it will result in a large number of casualties and enormous property loss, which is one of the greatest disasters that influence on the safety production in coal mine. To reduce the number of casualties and property loss caused by belt fire, the long-distance emergency rescue system for belt fire is proposed, and used to directly import the poisonous and toxic gas produced by belt lane into return airway in order to guarantee the safety of staffs working in mining area. In order to research on how the efficiency of using the system and what the system has additional impact on the ventilation system, the present study applies the approach of numerical stimulation to establish the two-dimensional model of ventilation system. After the belt fire happens, and then this paper researches on the flow laws of poisonous and toxic gas, and explores the long-distance emergency rescue system for belt fire influencing on the ventilation system and controlling the poisonous and toxic gas. The current study yields the conclusions as follows: (1) how poisonous and toxic gas produced by belt fire in different ventilation models spreads and moves in the roadway; and (2) how the long-distance emergency rescue system for belt fire influences on the ventilation system. This research has certain instructive significance and reference value for improving the level of emergency rescue about the belt fire, and reducing the number of casualties and property loss caused by belt fire.
