        A Highly Efficient and Selective Nickel/Clay Catalyst for Liquid Phase Hydrogenation of Maleic Anhydride to Succinic Anhydride

        Three Ni-based catalysts with different clay as support were prepared and tested in the hydrogenation of maleic anhydride, among which Ni/clay1 showed best activity and selectivity. Over Ni/clay1 catalyst prepared by impregnation method, 97.14% conversion of maleic anhydride and 99.55% selectivity to succinic anhydride were obtained at $180^{\circ}C$ under a pressure of 1 MPa. Catalytic activity was greatly influenced by the temperature and weighted hourly space velocity. Catalyst deactivation studies showed that this catalyst have a long life time, the yield of MA still higher than 90% even after a reaction time of 60 h. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and $H_2$ temperature programmed reduction (TPR) were use to investigate the properties of the catalyst. XRD and TPR studies showed that Ni was present as $Ni^{2+}$ on the support, which indicated that there was no elemental nickel ($Ni^0$) and $Ni_2O_3$ in the unreduced samples. The formation of Ni was strong impact on catalytic activity.

      • Design and Research of Hybrid Network Electronic Forensics Model Based on Cloud Computing

        With the increase of computer network crimes and the changes of the forms, the work of the network electronic forensics is becoming more and more important, and it is required that the technology of electronic forensics should be adapted to the development of complex network crimes. In this paper, the traditional electronic evidence collection technology and the electronic evidence collection method in recent years are studied, and then the hybrid network electronic evidence collection model based on cloud computing environment is proposed, which can work for electronic forensics in dynamic, fast and real-time ways so as to fight against network crimes more effectively.

      • Sustainable Development of Cultural Resources in Shandong Province

        Shandong Province, as a big province of cultural resources, has abundant cultural resources and the rapid development of cultural industries. At the same time, the contradiction between the protection and development of cultural resources is increasingly prominent, threatening the sustainable use of cultural resources. Based on this, the article systematically analyzes the classification, characteristics, and utilization status of cultural resources in Shandong Province from the perspective of sustainable development. According to the clustering characteristics of regional characteristic cultural resources in Shandong Province, it proposes the construction of five major cultural industrial clusters and the realization of culture. The concept of the development of sustainable use of resources provides a new way to promote the effective protection and rational development of cultural resources in Shandong Province and promote the transformation and upgrading of cultural industries.

      • Pheromone-Based Genetic Algorithm Adaptive Selection Algorithm in Cloud Storage

        Aiming at the problem of replica selection optimization in cloud storage load balancing technology, a new dynamic selection algorithm based on genetic algorithm(GASA in short ) is proposed. According to the principle of genetic algorithm, the model of dynamic selection strategy based on genetic algorithm is constructed, and then the key steps of the replica selection criteria and genetic algorithm are mapped, and then the optimal solution is obtained by using the probability equation. Lastly. simulation results from cloud test bed. which is based on Optorsim. show that GASA can reduce data access latency and bandwidth consumption. and effectively achieve cloud load balancing between storage nodes and improve the speed of data access.

        Data envelopment analysis(DEA) is a mathematical programming approach to asses s relative efficiency of a group of decision-making units. In view of the defects of existing models in evaluating efficiency of the system with P independent subsystems, Yang et al. [10] introduced YMK model with the assumption that decision-making unit(DMU) is independent of each other. But in some production systems, decision-making units usually have some relationships in this way or that. In this paper, DEA model is given by assuming that DMUs can cooperate with others in its subgroups. Some property and the efficiency relationship of the whole system and its subsystems are given.

        Investigation of Carbon–Carbon Nozzle Throat Erosion in a Solid Rocket Motor Under Acceleration Conditions

        Based on the serious issue of the significant ablation (erosion) difference of nozzle throat in a solid rocket motor (SRM) during its operation on the ground and in the atmosphere, a numerical and experimental investigation of carbon–carbon (C/C) nozzle throat erosion in solid rocket motor under specific acceleration (overload) conditions was conducted. This paper work’s results show that the erosion rate of nozzle throat in the acceleration direction is significantly higher than it is in the non-overload direction, which is defined as throat deviant ablation. In the case studied in this paper, the nozzle throat’s deviant ablation rate in the overload direction is 5 times greater than it is in the non-overload direction when the lateral overload reaches 30 g. Moreover, a sharp, and nearly linear, rise in the nozzle throat’s deviant ablation is observed as the lateral overload increases. Since the lateral acceleration will change the particles’ trajectory, the particles will move towards the lateral direction. This will in turn aggravate the chemical ablation and mechanical erosion processes, leading to throat deviant ablation. This means that the increase in the throat erosion rate in the overload region is so abominable that it must be taken into account in the design of a nozzle and the prediction of SRM performance under acceleration conditions.

        Prevalence of Cystic Echinococcosis in Slaughtered Sheep as an Indicator to Assess Control Progress in Emin County, Xinjiang, China

        Hydatid disease imposing serious threat on human health and great loss in live¬stock pastoralism remains a major public health problem in western China. To assess and monitor the effect of control program on transmission dynamics, we used the prevalence of cystic echinococcosis in slaughtered sheep at slaughterhouse as an indicator during the period of 2007 to 2013 in Emin County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The results showed a significant decline trend of prevalence in all age groups during the 7 years when the control program was implemented; particularly, the rate was reduced by 72% after first 3 years. Among the sheep slaughtered, the age distribution evidenced that the prevalence increased significantly as the sheep grew older. The baseline data indicated that the rate was 4.5% at the age <1, 6.7% at age 2~, and reached to the highest 17.9% at age ≥4 years. Earlier response to the intervention pressure was seen in the sheep at the younger age. Significant decline started from 2008 at the age <1, from 2009 at age of 1~, 2010 at 2~ to 3~, and the latest, in 2012 at age ≥4. This study demonstrated that the prevalence of cystic echinococcosis in slaughtered sheep may be used as an indicator to assess and monitor the transmission status during and after control program providing information for betterment of performance to sustain control strength.

        Effects of face-sheet materials on the flexural behavior of aluminum foam sandwich

        Properties of AFS vary with the changes in the face-sheet materials. Hence, the performance of AFS can be optimized by selecting face-sheet materials. In this work, three types of face-sheet materials representing elastic-perfectly plastic, elastic-plastic strain hardening and purely elastic materials were employed to study their effects on the flexural behavior and failure mechanism of AFS systematically. Result showed face-sheet materials affected the failure mechanism and energy absorption ability of AFS significantly. When the foam cores were sandwiched by aluminum alloy 6061, the AFS failed by facesheet yielding and crack without collapse of the foam core, there was no clear plastic platform in the Load-Displacement curve. When the foam cores were sandwiched by stainless steel 304 and carbon fiber fabric, there were no face-sheet crack and the sandwich structure failed by core shear and collapse, plastic platform appeared. Energy absorption abilities of steel and carbon fiber reinforced AFS were much higher than aluminum alloy reinforced one. Carbon fiber was suggested as the best choice for AFS for its light weight and high performance. The versus strength ratio of face sheet to core was suggested to be a significant value for AFS structure design which may determine the failure mechanism of a certain AFS structure.
