Behavior of the Rescue Robot to Reduce Fire Damage

This paper proposes a rescue robot system in a fire site. In the fire site where fire extinguishing devices such as sprinklers and refuge instruction are not enough, our robots rescue the refugees who cannot walk well and direct the refugees who can walk. In this way, our system is designed to utilize in the situation that infrastructures are not fully equipped with. Therefore, we can expect our system will be served in old towns and developing countries.
A Divided Scheduling Method based on Structural Characteristics in Wireless

Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) are used for metropolitan area network that requires high network throughput for handling many users. TDMA-based access is a common solution for this problem and several scheduling methods have been proposed. However, existing heuristic methods have room for improvement at network throughput although they are low complexity. In this paper, we propose a novel divided scheduling method based on structural characteristics in order to improve network throughput in WMNs. It separately schedules neighbor links of gateways and that of the other links by different scheduling algorithms. Simulation-based evaluations show that our proposal improves up to 14% of network throughput compared with conventional scheduling algorithm script.
New blue emitting materials based on triple-core chromophores for organic light-emitting diodes

<P>A novel dual core system was recently developed for producing highly efficient organic emitters. Triple-core chromophores were prepared by extending a dual core chromophore. 1,6-Di-anthracen-9-yl-pyrene (1,6 DAP core), 6,12-di-anthracen-9-yl-chrysene (DAC core), and 2,7-dianthracen- 9-yl-pyrene (2,7 DAP core) were designed and synthesized. Its physical and electroluminescent properties were also investigated. Triple-core chromophores were used for the blue fluorescent emitters. A structure of the device was fabricated as ITO/2-TNATA (60 nm)/NPB (15 nm)/synthesized materials (35 nm)/Alq(3) (20 nm)/LiF (1 nm)/Al (200 nm). The device performance of 1,6 DAP core, DAC core, and 2,7 DAP core at 10 mA/cm(2) corresponded to luminance efficiencies of 4.97 cd/A, 3.95cd/A, and 3.50 cd/A, respectively.</P>
Effect of Reverse Screw Elements on the Residence Time Distribution in Twin-Screw Extruder

이륜형 식품 압출기에서 체류시간의 분포에 대한 reverse screw element의 효과를 보기 위하여 여러가지 screw 조합에 따른 체류시간의 분포를 실험적으로 평가 하였다. Forwarding screw에서 형성된 C. chamber의 수를 평가하기 위해 아래와 같은 model equation을 도출 하였다. $T=T_x+\frac{1}{x}(\sum\frac{l}{a}+\frac{V{\cdot}\rho}{F/x})$ Reverse screw element를 사용함으로써 체류시간 분포 곡선은 넓게 퍼지는 경향이 있었고 최대 peak에 도달하는 시간이 증가 하였다. True residence time은 die 바로 앞에 있는 reverse screw element에 의해 주로 영향을 받았다. Filled C-chamber의 수는 같은 형태의 screw조합에서는 screw 회전수가 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. The residence time distributions were measured experimentally to determine the effect of reverse screw elements at various screw configurations in twin screw extruder. A simple model was used to estimate the number of filled C-chamber on the forwarding screw. The inclusion of reverse-screw elements resulted in the increase of median residence time and the broadening of color distribution. True residence time was affected by using the reverse screw elements just before the die. The number of filled C-chamber was decreased with the increase of screw revolution speed at the same screw configuration.
