Institutional Ownership and Stock Liquidity: International Evidence
Tung Lam Dang,Thanh Huong Nguyen,Nguyen Tram Anh Tran,Thi Thuy Anh Vo 한국증권학회 2018 Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies Vol.47 No.1
This paper investigates the relation between institutional ownership and stock liquidity, and explores whether this relation differs across institutional settings. Using a comprehensive data set across 41 countries from 2000 to 2010, we find that institutional ownership is positively correlated with stock liquidity. Importantly, the positive association between institutional ownership and stock liquidity is stronger (weaker) for firms in countries with opaque (transparent) information environments or poor (good) institutional characteristics. Our additional analysis reveals that the positive association between institutional ownership and liquidity is attributable to non-block institutional investors.

A novel dosage form integrating solid dispersion(SD) in orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) wasdeveloped and optimized by the face-centered centralcomposite design to improve poorly soluble property andslow onset action time of felodipine (Fel). SD of Fel andhydroxypropyl methylcellulose E6 was prepared by solventevaporation method. Differential scanning calorimetry andfourier transforms infrared spectroscopy indicated that Feltransformed from crystalline to amorphous state by theformation of hydrogen bond between –N–H in Fel and O–Rin HPMC. The accelerated stability test in 45 C, 75 % RHdemonstrated that the optimized SD was stable in terms ofthe dissolution rate of Fel and thermodynamic property. The ODTs containing SD (Fel:HPMC E6 = 1:3) wereprepared by direct compression technique. The face-centeredcentral composite design with the ODT-SD wasemployed to investigate the effect of mannitol (X1),crospovidone XL (X2) on the ODT-SD disintegration time(Y1), % Fel released after 5 min (Y2) and the ODT-SDfriability (Y3). ANOVA test showed that X2 and X2 * X2had a significant effect on the ODT-SD disintegration time(p\0.05). Meanwhile, the dissolution rate of Fel after5 min did not remarkably depend on any independentvariables (p[0.05). The ODT-SD friability was substantiallyproportional to the amount of mannitol (X1)(p\0.05). The optimized ODT-SD disintegration time, %Fel released after 5 min, and friability were 27.67 s, 88.35and 0.48 %, respectively.
Knowledge Sharing Influence on Innovation: A Case of Textile and Garment Enterprises in Vietnam
HOA, Nguyen Dinh,THANH, Vu Ba,MAI, Vu Thanh,TUNG, Le Van,QUYEN, Huynh Vo Thuc Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.7
The study seeks to investigate the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovation in garment and textile enterprises. While previous research has found many factors influencing knowledge sharing, little research has been done about the influence of knowledge sharing on innovation in enterprises in developing countries like Vietnam. In particular, the textile industry plays an important role in export, but outsourcing is accounting for a high proportion of trade; it is necessary to increase innovation in order to increase the competitive advantage by internal capacity. The data is collected from a survey of 245 employees at 20 textile and garment enterprises in Vietnam to study the knowledge sharing influence on innovation. The methodology includes pilot study and quantitative method. The pilot study tests the questionnaire on the respondents. The quantitative method applies SEM analysis to measure the knowledge sharing influence on innovation. The results identify eight factors that positively impact knowledge sharing: rewarding, teamwork, management support, joy of knowledge sharing, communication, trust, commitment, and information technology. This study also shows that knowledge sharing affects innovation. The main findings are discussed for textile and garment enterprises to apply innovative capacity in the context of increasing global integration.
Dielectric and ferroelectric characteristics of doped BZT-BCT ceramics sintered at low temperature
Dang Anh Tuan,Le Dai Vuongb,Vo Thanh Tung,Ngo Ngoc Tuan,Nguyen Trung Duong 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2018 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.19 No.1
The paper presents relaxor properties of lead-free nanostructured ZnO doped BZT-BCT ceramics sintered at lowtemperature. Curie-Weiss, Quadratic, Vogel-Fulcher laws were applied to study dielectric properties. The fitting experimentaldata to the mentioned laws showed the typical diffuseness characteristic of the materials as a result of the substitution of Zn2+ions into BZT-BCT substrate. Also, received ferroelectric loops were well saturated and fairly slim for all samples that assert againdiffuse ferroelectric nature in the investigated ceramics. The characterized values of remnant polarization, Pr, and coercive field,Ec, depended on ZnO nanoparticles concentration. According to that, when varying doping content in the region of 0.00-0.25%wt,Pr improved and reached a maximum value of 6.19 μC/cm2 at 0.15%wt, then decreased monotonously. Meanwhile Eccontinuously intensified in the range of 1.36-2.72 kV/cm. In other words, nanosized ZnO particles made the ceramics harder

(1-x)[(Pb0.94Sr0.05La0.01)(Zr0.54Ti0.46)0.9975O3]-x[Bi(Mn1/2Ti1/2)O3] (PSLZT-BMT) ferroelectric material ceramics with x in therange of 0-0.05 mol were successfully synthesized following the conventional solid-phase route. The materials were thoroughlyinvestigated to study their structural phase, microstructure, ferro-piezoelectric characteristics, and dielectric behavior. Theexperimental results show that the density of the samples decreased from 7.75 to 7.58 g/cm3, and the relative density decreasedin the range of 98.48%-96.28%. However, with increasing contents of BMT, the dielectric and ferroelectric properties ofPSLZT-BMT ceramics tend to decrease, specifically the maximum dielectric constant (εmax) of PSLZT-BMT decreased in therange of 23579-9991 and the residual polarization (Pr) decreases in the range of 22.54-7.87 μC/cm2 when the doping contentincreased in the range of 0.0-0.05 mol. The diffusivity values (γ) of the PSLZT-BMT material are 1.74, 1.78, 1.82, 1.84, 1.79,and 1.77 when the doping content x varies as 0.0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, and 0.05 mol, respectively, which is characteristic ofrelaxor ferroelectric materials. Besides, the Tm, TB, TC-W, and C values depend on BMT concentration, and the trend decreases.
