Densities (ρ), Viscosities (η) and ultrasonic speeds (u) of pure acetophenone (AP), propiophenone (PP), p-methyl acetophenone (p-MeAP), p-chloroacetophenone (p-ClAP) and those of their binary mixtures with N-ethyl aniline (N-EA) as a common component, were measured at 303.15 K over the entire composition range. These experimental data were used to calculate the excess volume VE, deviation in ultrasonic speeds Δu, isentropic compressibility Ks, intermolecular free length Lf, acoustic impedance Z, deviations in isentropic compressibility ΔKs, deviation in viscosity Δη and excess Gibbs free energy of activation of viscous flow (G*E) at all mole fractions of N-ethyl aniline. These parameters, especially excess functions, are found to be quite sensitive towards the intermolecular interactions between component molecules. Theoretical values of viscosity of the binary mixtures were calculated using different empirical relations and theories. The relative merits of these relations and theories were discussed. The experimental results were correlated by using the polynomial proposed by Redlich-Kister equation.

In this work, the hydromagnetic and thermal characteristics of natural convection flow in a vertical parallel plate micro–porous–channel with suction/injection is analytically studied in the presence of Hall current by taking the temperature jump and the velocity slip at the wall into account. The governing equations, exhibiting the physics of the flow formation are displayed and the exact analytical solutions have been obtained for momentum and energy equations under relevant boundary conditions. The impact of distinct admissible parameters such as Hartmann number, Hall current parameter, permeability parameter, suction/injection parameter, fluid wall interaction parameter, Knudsen number and wall-ambient temperature ratio on the flow formation is discussed with the aid of line graphs. In particular, as rarefaction parameter on the micro–porous–channel surfaces increases, the fluid velocity increases and the volume flow rate decreases for injection/suction.

In this paper, we have discussed a subclass T S(γ, α, µ, q, m)of univalent functions with negative coeffi cients related to pascal distribu-taries series in the unit disk U = { z ∈ C : | z | < 1 } . We obtain basic prop-erties like coeffi cient inequality, distortion and covering theorem, radii ofstarlikeness, convexity and close-to-convexity, extreme points, Hadamardproduct, and closure theorems for functions belonging to our class. The present correspondence is conveyed on to consider the fascinating and novel characteristics of radiative hydromagnetic convective flow of a chemically reacting fluid over an exponentially accelerated inclined porous plate. Exact solutions for the fluid velocity, temperature and species concentration, under Boussinesq approximation, are obtained in closed form by the two term perturbation technique. The interesting parts of thermal dispersing outcomes are accounted in this correspondence. Graphical evaluation is appeared to depict the trademark direct of introduced parameters on non dimensional velocity, temperature and concentration profiles. Also, the numerical assortment for skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number is examined through tables. The certification of current examination is confirmed by making an examination with past revelations available in composing, which sets a benchmark for utilization of computational approach.

A Simplified Control Algorithm for Three-Phase, Four-Wire Unified Power Quality Conditioner

In this paper, a simplified control algorithm for a three-phase, four-wire unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) is presented to compensate for supply voltage distortions/unbalance, supply current harmonics, the supply neutral current, the reactive power and the load unbalance as well as to maintain zero voltage regulation (ZVR) at the point of common coupling (PCC). The UPQC is realized by the integration of series and shunt active filters (AFs) sharing a common dc bus capacitor. The shunt AF is realized using a three-phase, four leg voltage source inverter (VSI) and the series AF is realized using a three-phase, three leg VSI. A dynamic model of the UPQC is developed in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment and the simulation results demonstrating the power quality improvement in the system are presented for different supply and load conditions.
