Pharmaceutical products occurring in freshwater bodies create numerous problems for the water bodies owing to their bio-toxic nature. In order to remove such pharmaceutical pollutants, a novel Er-doped Bi4O5Br2/ g-C3N5 nanocomposite was prepared by one-pot synthesis and applied for the photocatalytic removal process. The Er ions doped on the surface of Bi4O5Br2/ g-C3N5 nanocomposite exhibited 97% degradation of tetracycline in 60 min under visible light irradiation, which is higher than pure g-C3N5 and Bi4O5Br2 photocatalysts. The improved photocatalytic properties are attributed to the outstanding visible light harvesting capacity and quick charge carrier separation efficiency which greatly reduced the recombination rate in the heterojunctions. Based on radical trapping experiments, the •O2 ?, h+ and •OH radicals played a prominent role in the photodegradation reactions under visible light. Finally, the ternary Er-doped Bi4O5Br2/ g-C3N5 nanocomposite is effectively recyclable with quite a stable photocatalytic removal rate. This work enables a new perspective on the rational design of rare-earth-based nanocomposites for various pharmaceutical pollutants treatment processes.

The methanolic extract of ox-eye bean [Mucuna gigantea (Willd) DC.] contained total free phenolic content of 14.80±1.28 g catechin equivalent/100 g extract dry matter. Encouraging levels of ferric reducing/antioxidant power (FRAP, 1,023 mmol Fe[II]/mg extract), inhibition of β-carotene degradation (59.35%) and radical scavenging activity against DPPH (72.12%) and superoxide (43.11%)were exhibited by the raw samples. Further, it also recorded 82.17% of α-amylase and 91.26% of α-glucosidase enzyme inhibition characteristics. Sprouting+oil-frying caused a apparent increase on the total free phenolic content and also significant improvement on the antioxidant and free radical scavenging capacity of methanolic extract, while soaking+cooking as well as open-pan roasting treatments showed diminishing effects. Moreover, inhibition of α-amylase and α-glucosidase enzyme activities was declined to 22.82 and 45.47%, respectively during sprouting+oilfrying treatment, which are more desirable for the dietary management of type II diabetic patients.

Chikungunya fever has a high morbidity rate in humans and is caused by chikungunya virus. There are no treatments available until now for this particular viral disease. The present study was carried out by selecting 19 flavonoids, which are available naturally in fruits, vegetables, tea, red wine and medicinal plants. The molecular docking of selected 19 flavonoids was carried out against the Chikungunya virus capsid protein using the Autodock4.2 software. Binding affinity analysis based on the Intermolecular interactions such as Hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions and drug-likeness properties for all the 19 flavonoids have been carried out and it is found that the top four molecules are Chrysin, Fisetin, Naringenin and Biochanin A as they fit to the chikungunya protein and have binding energy of -8.09, -8.01, -7.6, and 7.3 kcal/mol respectively. This result opens up the possibility of applying these compounds in the inhibition of chikungunya viral protein.

This paper proposes a bidirectional Z-source dc-dc converter topology for the optimal utilization ofrenewable energy sources to the microgrid with the proposed control technique. Compared to the existing dc-dcconverter circuits, they can reduce in-rush and harmonic current, provide larger range of output dc voltage andimprove reliability. It can operate in voltage-fed and current-fed when the place of the source and load is exchangedeach other, and it can be perform buck-boost function in these two conditions. Its power flow can be bidirectional. The bidirectional Z-source dc-dc converter is revealed with the consideration of enhanced converter efficiency,effective utilization of renewable energy sources and reduced switching losses. The proposed control technique isthe combination of both the grasshopper optimization algorithm (GOA) and local random search (LRS) and henceit is known as GOLRS controller. Here, the searching behaviour of the GOA is enhanced by LRS with the helpof two operators named as crossover and mutation. In the proposed technique, the GOLRS is used to generate theoptimal gain dataset based on the minimum error objective function and select the exact gain parameter of thePI controller. Batteries are used as an energy source to balance out and allow the renewable power system units tocontinue running at a steady and stable output power. The proposed technique is executed in the MATLAB/Simulinkworking platform and compared with various existing techniques.
Stabilization of Delayed Fuzzy Neutral-type Systems Under Intermittent Control

This study is concerned about the stabilization for delayed fuzzy neutral-type system (DFNTS) with uncertain parameters under intermittent control. Firstly, by constructing the augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) about different time delays along with single and double auxillary function-based integral inequalities (SAFBII, and DAFBII, respectively), a new class of delay-dependent adequate conditions are proposed, so that the robust fuzzy neutral-type system under consideration is guaranteed to be globally asymptotically stable (GAS). Secondly, the intermittent control (IC) is introduced to stabilize the system with mixed time-varying delays. In the view of inferred adequate conditions, the IC parameters are determined as for the arrangement of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). It is noted that the strategies exploited in this work are apart from the other methods engaged in the literature, and the proposed conditions are less conservative. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed techniques in this work. One of the practical applications is single-link robot arm(SLRA) model to show the viability and benefits of the structured intermittet control.

In this paper, we introduce and study the concept of $r$-$(i, j)$-fuzzy regular semi open (closed) sets in smooth bitopological spaces. By using $r$-$(i, j)$-fuzzy regular semi open (closed) sets, we define a new fuzzy closure operator namely $r$-$(i, j)$-fuzzy regular semi interior (closure) operator. Also, we introduce FP-regular semi continuous and FP-regular semi irresolute mappings. Moreover, we investigate the relationship among FP-regular semi continuous and FP-regular semi irresolute mappings. Finally, we have given some counter examples to show that these types of mappings are not equivalent.

This study aims to monitor the displacement of the bridges using Stanford Method for Persistent Scatterers (StaMPS) time-series Persistent Scatterer Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar analysis. For case study bridges: Kimdaejung bridge and Deokyang bridge, we acquired 60 and 33 Cosmo-Skymed Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data over the Mokpo region and Yeosu region, respectively from 2013 to 2019. With single-look interferograms, we estimated the long-term time-series displacements over the bridges. The timeseries displacements were estimated as -8.8 mm/year and -1.34 mm/year at the mid-span over the selected bridges: Kimdaejung and Deokyang bridge, respectively. This time-series displacement provides reliable and high spatial resolution information to monitor the structural behavior of the bridge for preventing structural behaviors.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>This paper addresses the problem of stability and stabilization issue for a class of fuzzy nonlinear uncertain systems with discrete and distributed time delays. By utilizing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional together with free weighting matrix approach, a new set of delay-dependent sufficient conditions are derived which makes the closed loop system robustly asymptotically stable. In particular, the parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded. Further, a state feedback controller is proposed to guarantee the robust stabilization for uncertain systems and subsequently the controller is constructed in terms of the solution to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). The derived conditions are expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities which can be efficiently solved via standard LMI toolbox. Further, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the obtained results.</P>
