This study was conducted to determine the reproductive characteristics of Barbarea vulgaris under different disturbance regimes (mowing and tilling) in two different habitats: a levee and a wheat field. On the levee, 77 of the 114 individuals that had had their floral stalks removed by the first mowing produced new rosettes at the basal part of the stem during the same growing season. The plants that were mowed four times per year had a significantly greater survival rate than the plants that were mowed twice per year. The levee population that was mowed without tillage was largely maintained by vegetative reproduction. These results suggest that mowing the levees promotes the vegetative reproduction of B. vulgaris and helps it to compete with tall-growing plants, thus facilitating its survival as a perennial. In spite of the high sprouting ability of the plant's root fragments, most of the root fragments did not regenerate when buried or when exposed to high soil moisture conditions in tilled wheat fields. The population of B. vulgaris in tilled wheat fields was maintained almost entirely by sexual reproduction. Barbarea vulgaris can survive under two different management regimes by altering its mode of reproduction.
The Effects of Posture Science on Improving Bone Mass

By posture improvement Normal physical load is applied to the bone, bone metabolism is increased. Autonomic functions are completed, hormone balance improves, and bone metabolism is increased. Our clinical examinations of bone mass, along with the care of posture, have revealed that young women (under 30) and older women (60-70) have lower bone mass. The decrease in bone mass, caused by diet, exercise, and hormone balance were considered. When patients received chiropractic adjustments and posture treatment, bone mass measurements were done continuously, resulting in a moderate increase in bone mass for most patients. Genetic factors involved in the shape of the bone, but acquired the formation of bone factor is largely responsible. Lifestyle affect it, it is conceivable cause of poor posture as one of the lifestyle. Our investigation aims to prove that posture science is an effective treatment for increasing bone mass in most people.
In Situ Measurement of Diel Periodicity in Urea Decomposition in a Reed Zone of Lake Biwa, Japan

Diel change in urea decomposition activity of epiphytic algae on Phragmites stems and phytoplankton in a shallow littoral reed zone in the south basin of Lake Biwa was investigated with an in situ technique using $^{14}C$-labelled urea. The daily rates of urea decomposition (sum of urea carbon incorporation rate and $CO_2$ liberation rate) by epiphytic and planktonic algae were calculated as 180 ${\mu}$ mole urea surface shoot area $m^{-2}\;day^{-1}$ and 210 ${\mu}$ mole urea $m^{-3}\;day^{-1}$. The chlorophyll a specific urea decomposition rates of epiphytic and planktonic algae were 4.7 to 6.4 and 4.4 to 6.2 ${\mu}$ mole urea mg chl. $a^{-1}$ incubation $time^{-1}$ in daytime and 4.2 to 5.7 and 2.4 to 3.5 ${\mu}$ mole urea mg chl. $a^{-1}\;time^{-1}$ in nighttime, respectively. High values were obtained during 12:00 ${\sim}$ 18:00 and low values during 00:00 ${\sim}$ 06:00 for both epiphytic and planktonic algal communities. A clear diel periodicity in the urea decomposing activity of the planktonic algae was observed. The activity of the epiphytic algae, on the other hand, showed no destinctive variation during a day. The present results indicate that epiphytic algae are one of the significant urea decomposers in a reed zone, and that the diel patterns are quite difference between both algal communities.

In general, gels are categorized according by solvents organogel and hydrogel. Recently, it has been classified more precisely such as supramolecular gels, metallogels etc. , depending on the intermolecular interactions as well as solvents. One of the interesting points of the gel chemistry is that the gel behaves either as a solid or as a liquid depending on the conditions for forming the gel. Based on these behaviors, it has been used in various fields such as healthcare, tissue engineering, and cancer therapy. In this research, we introduce polymer gel system using hydrazon reaction between calix[4]arene and stilben derivative. In the prosess of this reaction, we try to load the Doxorubicin hydrochloride(DOX) as the drug for cancer. Frist, we checked the gelation adjusting some factors, heat time, exposing to ultraviolet rays or not, radiation time. Second, characteristic of gels was analyzed by SEM, rheology and so on. Finally, the ratio of drug release was analyzed by immersing gels to the solution using by Uv-vis.
