A study of PO-$\Gamma$-semigroups in terms of anti fuzzy ideals
T. Nagaiah,K. Vijay Kumar,P. Narasimha Swamy,T. Srinivas 원광대학교 기초자연과학연구소 2017 ANNALS OF FUZZY MATHEMATICS AND INFORMATICS Vol.14 No.3
The notions of anti fuzzy ideals, bi-ideals and interior ideals of Partially Ordered $\Gamma$-Semigroups(PO$\Gamma$S) have been proposed in this paper. We characterize some properties of PO$\Gamma$S in terms of anti fuzzy ideals (AFI). We obtain equivalent statements on composition of AFI using the characteristic function and anti fuzzy bi-ideal(AFBI). Also we study the relationship between anti fuzzy product and union of AFI in a PO$\Gamma$S. Finally, we deliberate the necessary and sufficient condition of PO-$\Gamma$-semigroups.

Prime Leading organizations will use the web portal for effort monitoring and tracking. This portal is used to store and analyze the employee effort from various R&D departments. This portal provides a front end environment for employees/management of an organization to keep a track of his/her effort. It is also expected to use SharePoint advanced features such as content management, alerts, information management policies, collaboration features, reporting, and analytics services.
Ultra-fast switching blue phase liquid crystals diffraction grating stabilized by chiral monomer
Manda, Ramesh,Pagidi, Srinivas,Bhattacharya, Surjya Sarathi,Yoo, Hyesun,Kumar T, Arun,Lim, Young Jin,Lee, Seung Hee IOP 2018 Journal of Physics. D, Applied Physics Vol.51 No.18
<P>We have demonstrated an ultra-fast switching and efficient polymer stabilized blue phase liquid crystal (PS-BPLC) diffraction grating utilizing a chiral monomer. We have obtained a 0.5 ms response time by a novel polymer stabilization method which is three times faster than conventional PS-BPLC. In addition, the diffraction efficiency was improved 2% with a much wider phase range and the driving voltage to switch the device is reduced. The polarization properties of the diffracted beam are unaffected by this novel polymer stabilization. This device can be useful for future photonic applications.</P>

Ko, J J,Choueiri, T K,Rini, B I,Lee, J-L,Kroeger, N,Srinivas, S,Harshman, L C,Knox, J J,Bjarnason, G A,MacKenzie, M J,Wood, L,Vaishampayan, U N,Agarwal, N,Pal, S K,Tan, M-H,Rha, S Y,Yuasa, T,Donskov, Nature Publishing Group 2014 The British journal of cancer Vol.110 No.8
<P><B>Background:</B></P><P>Limited data exist on outcomes for metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) patients treated with multiple lines of therapy. Benchmarks for survival are required for patient counselling and clinical trial design.</P><P><B>Methods:</B></P><P>Outcomes of mRCC patients from the International mRCC Database Consortium database treated with 1, 2, or 3+ lines of targeted therapy (TT) were compared by proportional hazards regression. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were calculated using different population inclusion criteria.</P><P><B>Results:</B></P><P>In total, 2705 patients were treated with TT of which 57% received only first-line TT, 27% received two lines of TT, and 16% received 3+ lines of TT. Overall survival of patients who received 1, 2, or 3+ lines of TT were 14.9, 21.0, and 39.2 months, respectively, from first-line TT (<I>P</I><0.0001). On multivariable analysis, 2 lines and 3+ lines of therapy were each associated with better OS (HR=0.738 and 0.626, <I>P</I><0.0001). Survival outcomes for the subgroups were as follows: for all patients, OS 20.9 months and PFS 7.2 months; for those similar to eligible patients in the first-line ADAPT trial, OS 14.7 months and PFS 5.6 months; for those similar to patients in first-line TIVO-1 trial, OS 24.8 months and PFS 8.2 months; for those similar to patients in second-line INTORSECT trial, OS 13.0 months and PFS 3.9 months; and for those similar to patients in the third-line GOLD trial, OS 18.0 months and PFS 4.4 months.</P><P><B>Conclusions:</B></P><P>Patients who are able to receive more lines of TT live longer. Survival benchmarks provide context and perspective when interpreting and designing clinical trials.</P>

<P>This study focuses on the outcomes of a large international cohort of patients with metastatic RCC who would not have met the eligibility criteria for clinical trials and compares these to those that would have eligible. The proportion of patients who would have been ineligible and the reason for ineligibility are also discussed.</P>

Grewia serrulata fibres were chemically treated with 3%, 6%, and 9% NaOH for the duration of 4 h. Additionally, the NaOH-treated fibres were also treated with 3 - (trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate (silane). Properties such as density and tensile strength of the treated fibres were compared against the untreated fibres. The highest density was obtained in the case of 9% NaOH + silane treated fibres, which was 26.47% higher than untreated fibres, implying effective removal of hemicellulose. Likewise, the highest tensile strength was also obtained in the case of 9% NaOH + silane treated fibres. The increment observed in the tensile strength of the natural fibres was related to the removal of impurities, hemicellulose, and stress-raisers as well as deposition over the fibre surface that smoothed it. These observations were further validated by estimating changes in chemical constituents due to chemical treatment along with characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy and thermogravimetric analysis.

<P>We have reported on the synthesis of CuO nanostructures <I>via</I> a simple sol–gel approach with high yield at low cost by the reduction of aqueous solutions of Cu(NO3)2 and Na2NO3. Synthesized nanostructures were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), fluorescence spectroscopy, Raman scattering and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy. Structural studies revealed that the prepared CuO nanostructures were polycrystalline in nature with monoclinic structure. The crystallite size of CuO nanostructures was estimated to be ∼10 nm using Debye–Scherrer's formula. The uniform and nanoregime grains were observed in SEM micrographs. The optical band gap value was estimated to be 1.2 eV using Tauc's plot. The Raman scattering investigations revealed Ag and Bg mode peaks at 278 cm−1, 332 cm−1 and 618 cm−1, respectively.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Ag and Bg mode vibration peaks are observed in the Raman spectrum with a lower optical band gap of 1.2 eV. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c4nj00084f'> </P>
