The Effect of Sports Motivation of Middle School SOCCER Players on the Sports Goal Orientation

        Sunjang Lee,Jongsoo Kim,Jusik Park J-INSTITUTE 2020 Kinesiology Vol.5 No.2

Purpose: The study was conducted to verify how sports motivations affect sports goal orientations for mid-dle school soccer players. In order to achieve the goal of this study, a survey was conducted on 338 middle school soccer players to analyze the collected data. The conclusions of the analysis are as follows. Method: In this study, the data collected through the questionnaire was analyzed using SPSS 26.0. Frequen-cy analysis was conducted to identify the demographic and statistical characteristics of the study participants, and the reliability coefficient(Cronbach α) was calculated to determine the stability, consistency, and predicta-bility of the measurement tools for each item. One-way ANOVA was conducted to find out how the demograph-ic variables of middle school soccer players differed in sports motivation and sports goal orientation. In addition, multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify how sports motivations of middle school soccer players affect their sports goal orientations. The significance level of all the statistics was set at .05. Result: First, the analysis of the differences in sports motivation according to the school year of middle school soccer players showed statistically significant differences in self-control and amotivation factors. Second, an analysis of the differences in sports motivation according to the athletic career of middle school soccer players showed statistically significant differences in intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and amotivation factors. Third, an analysis of the effect of middle school soccer players sports motivation on sports goal orien-tation showed that self-control was a factor in task orientation and that there were statistically significant dif-ferences in intrinsic and extrinsic motivations on the ego orientation. Suggestions: Suggestions for future studies based on the results of this study include the following. This study was conducted only for middle school students, so subsequent studies would be meaningful if they were conducted on high school and college students as well. And a study on the differences between teenagers, col-lege students, and regular soccer players will also be meaningful. It would also be meaningful if there were studies that identified not only sports motivation and sports goal orientation but also relationships with various variables and qualitative studies that could find in-depth causes.

A Study on the Investigation of the Presence of Potential Infected Tree in the PREVENTION of Pine Wilt Disease

        Yeonghwan Jo,Sunjang Lee,박주식,Wonhyeon Lim J-INSTITUTE 2020 International Journal of Crisis & Safety Vol.5 No.2

Purpose: The methods of preventing and controlling pine wilt disease(PWD), currently used in Korea, include fumigation, incineration, and fragmentation of the infected tree, which shows exterior discoloration. However, there are potential infected trees that have a healthy appearance but is already running out of resin, which serves as a breeding ground for Monochamus alternatus, aka Japanese pine sawyer. Method: Therefore, in order to confirm the presence of potential infected trees in the affected area, the dam-age was divided into five grades, and potential infected trees were investigated through the process. Accordingly, the time sequential examination of the reduced pine resin and the coniferous discoloration in a total of 1,057 pine trees of kinds(Pines, Japanese black pines, Korean pines, Pinus rigida) was conducted to investigate the ex-istence of the potential infected trees in the 2 district of extreme damage in this study and among them 176 trees(16.7%) were selected as the potential infected trees. Results: The results of this study showed that there were usually 4 to 5 percent of potential infected trees right after the removal of infected trees and that the percentage gradually increased over time. In addition, 26 diagnos-tic kits and 29 microscopic examination of 32 samples confirmed Bursaphelenchus xylophilusas in the target trees. Conclusion: Therefore, it is considered necessary to concentrate on checking the expansion of the pine wilt by preventing the attracted egg laying of the vectors by searching the potential infected trees through the relatively easy-to-perform extraction of pine resin from the healthy trees in external appearance around the damaged with-ered trees. The cross-checking of the results of the diagnosis kit and microscopic examination confirmed the pres-ence of Monochamus alternatus in the potential infected trees with the 25 samples.

        동서양의 문화접변과 중국무술이 심리적 작용

        변승진(SeungJin Byun),이선장(SunJang Lee) 한국무예학회 2015 무예연구 Vol.9 No.2

The aim of this study is to find out how Chinese martial arts which might have been considered as the closest have been changed through the cultural contacts and its results are derived as follows: By Opium War in 1840, the Chinese door was opened and at the same time the diffusion of the Western culture was also accelerated. In this period, the Chinese martial arts were started to dismantle partially along with the retrogression of the military martial arts. On the other hand, the private martial arts appeared in front through the farmers' wars and farmers' movements as resistances against the Western culture but by the failure of the Boxer Rebellion in 1900, the form of the martial arts used in actual battles became to retrogress. Through their continuous losings in the wars against the Western powerful countries, their consciousness that they needed to train their bodies worked as the filter and so, the Chinese traditional martial arts whose characteristic is very closed was given with the name of sports, became re-interpreted more systematically and started to be developed. Since then, the Chinese martial arts has been called with the unified term as 'wushu', started to re-organize. As a result from their psychological effects by acculturation, they are divided into two groups; one who accepted the Western cultures and the other one who resisted against them and accordingly, wushu also became to be divided into traditional wushu and wushu just for competitions. At present, wushu for competitions is being spurred to be selected as a game in Olympics and traditional wushu is being developed as a world-wide cultural product by keeping their traditional value.
