As the introduction of high-performance IT equipment is gradually increasing, the amount of power required is also continuously increasing. Since server equipment needs to be operated continuously without any rest, heat management is essential for stable operation. Accordingly, air conditioning technology is strongly emphasized. Various studies have been conducted to analyze the air conditioning characteristics through the ASHRAE performance index based on the spatial structure arrangement and specifications of the server rack located above base floor. On the other hand, research on the air conditioning characteristics related to the spatial structure underfloor structure have been relatively insignificant. In this study, the underfloor partition wall structure of the data center with air distribution system as type of server rack front intake and rear exhaust structure including CRAH has been changed. According to the change, the temperature distribution characteristics of the cold air entering the server rack under the heat load of 2.68kW/Rack were numerically analyzed.

본 고에서는 전동기에 사용되는 냉각 방식의 종류와 특징을 분석하고, 각 방식이 지니는 특장점과 적용 사례를 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 전동기의 주요 열원과 열 특성 분석기법을 소개하였으며 견인 및 추진 전동기에 대한 최근 개발된 열관리 기술 동향과 개발 사례를 검토하였다. 더불어, 산업용 전동기의 방열구조에 대한 소개와 함께 향후 열관리 영역에서 나아가야 할 시 사점을 끝으로 글을 마무리하였다. In this paper, we analyzed the types and characteristics of cooling methods used in motors and presented the characteristics and application examples of each cooling method. First, the primary heat source of the motor and the thermal characteristic analysis method were introduced, and the recently developed thermal management technology trends and development cases for traction and propulsion motors were reviewed. In addition, the article concluded with an introduction to the heat dissipation structure of industrial motors and the implications of moving forward in the field of thermal management in the future.
