This study aims to analyze for a sedimentation distribution and a transport characteristics in inflow reaches of reservoir with rainfall. Study watershed in alluvial river system selected as a drainage area with Walha of small-river in Yunkee-Gun, Chungnam Province. Field measured technical method by the ASM(Argus Surface Meter)-Ⅳ offers various complementary results which provide to be extremely useful, for instance in sediment concentration and total sediment analysis, comparison variation of water pressure and temperature in measuring points. Measured sampling data analyzed for the hydraulic characteristics on the distribution of sediment concentration, temperature, water pressure, and total sediment discharge by the ASMA divided entirely, two or three into equal parts at the scales of measuring time and flow depth, respectively. As a results, effective analysis method show that three and two proportions at measuring time and flow depth scales, respectively, and the quantitative analysis proceed to use the plane coordinate system in deriving with the relationship of various parameters. By the analysis of plane coordinate system, sediment concentration distributions at the inflow reaches of reservoir of the rainfall periods show that increase with water temperature variation on the conditions in constant of discharge and flow velocity.

Literally, the mean of Tae-gye is highest brook. And on the basis of the acupuncture theory, Tae-gye point is the Soo earth point and source point of the Kidney Channel as well. In addition, Tae-gye point is one of the Yang-Returning Nine points. We were trying to study bibliographically on the Tae-gye point because Tae-gye point can be used very broadly across the symptoms in the theoretical aspect described above. As a results, we found out that according to the classical books of acupuncture, Tae-gye point is entering point of the Meridian Water as a source point and can be used at both Kidney-Sufficient Syndrom and Kidney-Deficient Syndrom. And Tae-gye can be applied to the disease of kidney or bladder that is urogenital symtoms, Also, Tae-gye is an useful option of tooth-ache, asthma, indigestion, constipation, edema etc whose cause is related with decrease of Kidney ki.

In the rectifying single sampling inspection, 9-sampling inspection methods are briefly described, and then the optimal inspection plan to minimize the expected total cost is derived. The results of this experiment through numerical example are: (1) The optimal inspection plan of sampling to minimize the cost with several variables is derived. The result is TC(134, 4)=2321. (2) The optimal inspection plan is obtained when the LTPD is increased, and the sample size, acceptance number and total cost are decreased. (3) The optimal inspection plan is obtained when the lot size is increased, and sample size and acceptance number are also increased. (4) When e₁ is fixed and e₂ is increased, p_(e) is decreased with very small erefore, the type -Ⅰ error must influences on sample size more than the type-Ⅱ error does.

Septoplasty with turbinate surgery is common surgical treatment In patients with septal deviation and chronic hypertrophic rhinitis. The aim of this study was to evaluation objective outcomes of septoplasty with turbinate surgery by analysis of subjective symptom score with objective acoustic rhinometric test before and after surgery, prospectively. Materials and Methods: We reviewed 45 adult patients which were done septoplasty with bilateral turbinectomy or turbinoplasty and followed up at least 3 months by one rhinologist from November 1999 to April 2000, prospectively. We analyzed subjective symptom score. minimal cross-sectional area (MCA) , C-notch cross-sectional area, and total volume of both nasal cavity before and after surgery. Correlation test was studied between symptom improvement and acoustic rhinometric results. Results: Twenty nine cases were male and sixteen cases female. The average age was 26.9 year-old (range: 17 to 57 years). There was significantly improvement of symptom score in postoperative 3 months (p<0.05). There was significantly increased C-notch cross-sectional area and total volume in postoperative 3 months. Symptoms improvement were associated with acoustic rhinometric profiles, but, there was not significantly correlation. Conclusion: Septoplasty with turbinate surgery is considered to be effective for nasal obstruction in patients with septal deviation and turbinate hypertrophy. Acoustic rhinometric test is favorable objective test for evaluation of symptom improvement after septal surgery.

Little is known about the effects of the plane of nutrition on growth performance and meat quality of grow-finish pigs under commercial production conditions. The present study was thus addressed to this virtually unanswered question. One hundred and two barrows and 102 gilts weighing approximately 24 kg were fed phase I and II grower diets with a high, medium, or low plane of nutrition (HP, MP, or LP) to approximately 43 and 70 kg, respectively, in 6 replicates (pens). Subsequently, the HP and MP groups were fed the HP and MP1 finisher diets, respectively, the LP group being fed a second MP (MP2) finisher diet (LP1 group). Moreover, 68 LP-grower-fed barrows and gilts were added to the feeding trial and fed the MP1 and LP finisher diets to approximately 95 kg and thereafter, respectively (LP2 group). All MP diets had the lysine:calorie ratios comparable to the RNC recommendations, with < 18% differences between those of the HP and LP diets. The finisher pigs were reared in 16 pens and slaughtered at approximately 115 kg. The gain:feed ratio, but not average daily gain (ADG), was greater for the HP group than for the MP and LP during the grower phase I whereas during the grower phase II, ADG was greater (p < 0.05) for the HP and LP groups vs. MP. During the finisher phase I, ADG was less for the LP (LP1 + LP2) group vs. HP and MP, with no difference between the HP and MP groups; the gain:feed ratio was less for the LP vs. MP group. Backfat thickness was greater for the LP vs. HP group. The water holding capacity of fresh longissimus dorsi muscle (LM) and the sensory juiciness score for cooked LM were greatest for the LP group, the sensory flavor and tenderness scores being greater for the LP group vs. MP. In conclusion, results suggest that compensatory growth occurred for the LP and MP groups during the grower phase II and finisher phase I, respectively, with fat deposition increased for the LP group and that meat quality could be improved by the use of LP.

통 재배시 많이 발생하고 있는 일년생 잡초인 바랭이의 발생밀도가 콩 수량에 미치는 영향을 정량화하고 이들 경합에 의한 콩의 피해를 예측하여 콩 재배시 효율적인 잡초방제체계 관리정보를 제공하기 위하여 수행한 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 바랭이의 발생밀도가 높아지더라도 콩의 경장에는 큰 차이가 없었으나 분지수, 백립중, 협수를 크게 감소하였으며 콩 수량 구성요소에 미치는 영향은 협수> 백립중> 분지수 순으로 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 바랭이 경합밀도가 4~492본 m-2 일 때 콩 수량은 각각 17~57%의 수량감소를 보였으며, 바랭이 경합밀도별로 조사된 콩의 수량 자료에 따른 콩 수량 예측모델은 Y=204.462/(1+0.0069X), R²=0.896이였으며, 50% 수량감소를 유발하는 바랭이의 잡초밀도는 m²당 145본으로 추정된다. 생산 및 증수비용을 고려한 콩밭 바랭이의 경제적 피해한계 밀도 수준은 1㎡당 3.4개로 예측할 수 있었으며 이보다 발생밀도가 많을 경우에는 잡초를 방제하는 것이 경제적으로 유리할 것으로 사료된다. This study was conducted to predict reduction of soybean yield as affected by different densities of Digitaria sanguinalis. All data were fitted to Cousens’ rectangular hyperbola model to estimate parameters for predicting soybean yield loss. The yield of soybean in the various densities (4 tod 192 plants m-2) of D. sanguinalis was reduced by 17 to 57%, respectively. Among yield components, number of pods was the most significantly influenced by weed interferences. The prediction model for soybean yield as affected by competitive density of D. sanguinalis was as follows : Y=204.462/(1+0.0069X), r²=0.896. Economic threshold levels calculated using Cousens’ equation was 3.4 plants m-2 in D. sanguinalis.
