This paper describes a fast circuit simulation technique using the latency insertion method (LIM) with a parallel distributed leapfrog algorithm. The numerical simulation results with the cluster that uses the cloud computing system are shown. As a result, it is confirmed that our method is very useful and practical.

In this work, equivalent properties between the latency insertion method (LIM), which is one of the fast transient analysis methods, and the semi-implicit numerical integration method is proven. As a result, it is confirmed that the semi-implicit scheme has the capability to replace LIM as the fast simulation method for practical use.
