The study is devoted to the formation of a economic principles cargo delivery management in global supply chains. Mathematical model of delivering special categories of goods by road is a key element of these principles. The article analyzes the existing studies on solving the problem of cargo delivery in various aspects. It was noted that the greatest attention is paid to legal regulation, last mile delivery, optimization of routes and delivery schemes, information support, technological innovations, cluster routing, etc. In the developed mathematical model a minimum of total costs of forming loading units and freight shipments was defined as the criterion of optimality of organizing delivery by motor transport. The authors propose the creation of logistics clusters allowing the integration of urban transport flows and global supply chains.

Analyzed are recent advances in design of novel boronared conjugates of synthetic and natural porphyrins and chlorins. These compounds showed high efficacy as cytotoxic agents for tumor cells in culture and as phototoxins in photodynamic therapy of tumor xenografts. Thus, boronated porphyrins and chlorins emerge as promising class of anticancer agents with potentially multiple advantages: the chemotherapeutic drugs alone and photo- and radiosensitizers in binary treatments.

The article provides a theoretical substantiation of the pedagogical interaction of the subjects of the educational process in the context of distance learning; taking into account the identified features of the implementation of pedagogical interaction defined teaching methods in distance learning; a course has been developed that reveals the features of the pedagogical interaction of participants in the educational process in conditions of distance learning. To solve the tasks and check starting points, a set of methods was used: theoretical: analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical literature, dissertation research, curricula, analysis of the conceptual and terminological system; empirical: questioning, conversation, self-diagnosis.

The presented scientific research substantiates the principles of the mechanism of the investment resources involvement in order to introduce innovations at enterprises in the context of digitalization using a resource-functional approach. The importance of attracting investment resources, which contributes to the modernization of production systems, the creation of a stable economic field of development of economic entities, is justified. The expediency of application of the resource-functional approach on research of the mechanism of attraction of investment resources for introduction of innovations at the enterprises in the conditions of digitalization is proved. The investment process is presented in the form of a chain of interdependent processes which include: attraction of investment resources, investments, increase of investment value, profit. It is proved that the mechanism of attracting investment resources for the introduction of innovations in enterprises in the context of digitalization cannot be considered in isolation from the process, due to the fact that the mechanism is aimed at performing specific functions. The functions of the mechanism include management, complex, coordination, monitoring, performance and control functions. Functions of the mechanism of attraction of investment resources for introduction of innovations at the enterprises in the conditions of digitalization are caused by the purposes of attraction of investment resources for innovative development; the presence of an objective nature; relative independence and homogeneity; implementation of functions in the process of investing in innovative activities of the enterprise.

Iron oxide nanoparticles (IONs) are frequently used in various biomedical applications, in particular as magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents in liver imaging. Indeed, number of IONs have been withdrawn due to their poor clinical performance. Yet comprehensive understanding of their interactions with hepatocytes remains relatively limited. Here we investigated how iron oxide nanocubes (IO-cubes) and clusters of nanocubes (IO-clusters) affect distinct human hepatic cell lines. The viability of HepG2, Huh7 and Alexander cells was concentration-dependently decreased after exposure to either IO-cubes or IO-clusters. We found similar cytotoxicity levels in three cell lines triggered by both nanoparticle formulations. Our data indicate that different expression levels of Bcl-2 predispose cell death signaling mediated by nanoparticles. Both nanoparticles induced rather apoptosis than autophagy in HepG2. Contrary, IO-cubes and IO-clusters trigger distinct cell death signaling events in Alexander and Huh7 cells. Our data clarifies the mechanism by which cubic nanoparticles induce autophagic flux and the mechanism of subsequent toxicity. These findings imply that the cytotoxicity of ION-based contrast agents should be carefully considered, particularly in patients with liver diseases.

Background: In this study, we hypothesized that microcystic, elongated, fragmented (MELF)-pattern, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression by cancer cells and microvessel density of cancer stroma may be associated with progression of endometrioid adenocarcinoma. Methods: The study used data from the Belarus Cancer Registry and archival histological material of 100 patients with retrospectively known good (survival) and poor (disease progression and death) outcomes. All cases were immunohistochemically stained for CD34 and VEGF. Two independent samples were compared for the characteristics of signs, and obtained results were analyzed by receiver operating characteristic analysis, Mann-Whitney U test, χ2 test (Yates correction), and Mantel-Cox test. Multivariate Cox hazard analysis and Spearman correlation test were used. A p-value of less than .05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The observed survival rate of patients with endometrioid adenocarcinoma was significantly lower (p = .002) in MELF-pattern positive patients when compared with MELF-pattern negative patients. The overall survival rate of patients whose tumors had more than 114 vessels/mm2 of tissue was significantly low (p < .001). Interestingly, a similar observation was found in patients with increased vessel area, evidenced by VEGF expression in the glandular tumor component. Conclusions: Our study suggests, for the first time, that these criteria may be used as risk factors of endometrioid adenocarcinoma progression during 5 years after radical surgical treatment. However, a large independent cohort of samples should be considered in the future to validate our findings.

The paper presents the results of research of cordierite ceramics; within its composition, a part of components is introduced using relatively low-melting MABS glass. After fi ring at a temperature of 1375 °C, densely sintered materials with low values of LCTE (17.7–18.5) × 10 –7 deg –1 were obtained, which predetermine their high thermal stability (not lower than 900 °C). The only crystalline phase of experimental ceramics is α-cordierite, which forms its structural matrix. Crystals of α-cordierite of 1–2 μm in size are tightly interconnected via thin layers of the residual glass phase. Cordierite ceramics is characterized by zero values of water absorption and open porosity, as well as high values of mechanical compressive strength. In addition, the dense microstructure allows achieving consistently high dielectric values ( ε = 4.9; tan δ = 0.0014) in an ultra-high-frequency electromagnetic fi eld (10 10 Hz). The synthesized ceramics can be successively used as radio- transparent materials, including structural ones.
