정신적 폭력이 사회복지 종사자의 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 직무스트레스와 소진의 매개효과를 중심으로

사회복지 종사자의 폭력경험은 부정적인 정서를 경험하게 하며 이는 조직 행동 및 태도에 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 기존 연구는 폭력과 개인의 정서에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 연구들이 다수였고, 정신적 폭력과 조직행동의 영향을 살펴본 연구는 거의 전무하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 사회복지 종사자의 클라이언트와 동료·상사의 정신적 폭력 경험이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 및 스트레스와 소진의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울시 사회복지 종사자 1,051명의 응답자료를 Mplus를 사용한 구조방정식 모형으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 클라이언트와 동료·상사의 정신적 폭력은 이직의도에 직접적 영향을 미치지는 않지만, 직무 스트레스를 매개로 간접적인 영향이 있었다. 둘째, 소진은 동료·상사의 정신적 폭력과 이직의도 사이에서 완전 매개효과를 나타냈다. 셋째, 동료·상사의 정신적 폭력경험이 많을수록 소진 및 직무스트레스가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 사회복지 종사자의 정신적 폭력 경험이 직무스트레스와 소진 등 부정적인 심리·정서적 영향을 통해 이직의도에 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 건강한 조직문화의 확립, 개방적인 의사소통 구조를 통한 사전 예방체계 구축, 다양하고 지속적인 교육, 폭력예방 매뉴얼의 구체화, 사후대응 체제 마련, 직장 내 폭력 예방을 위한 다양한 슈퍼비전 활동 등 정신적인 폭력을 예방하고 업무스트레스와 소진을 낮출 조직 관리의 함의를 모색하였다. Social workers’ experiences of violence have negative impacts on individuals and organizations. Existing studies on violence have mainly focused on the negative effects of various types of violence on individual emotions. This study examined the effects of mental violence, which occurs most frequently on a daily basis, on turnover intention. In this study, two major research questions were investigated: First, how does mental violence by clients or within the workplace influence turnover intention of social workers? Second, do burnout and job stress mediate the influence of mental violence on turnover intention of social workers? The following results were obtained from analyzing the response data of 1,051 social workers in Seoul, adopting a structural equation model using the Mplus program. First, mental violence by clients or in the workplace had no direct influence on turnover intention of social workers. Second, mental violence by clients influenced turnover intention of social workers fully mediated by job stress, and mental violence in workplace influenced turnover intention of social workers fully mediated by job stress and burnout. This study discussed the implications for organizational management to prevent mental violence against social workers and lower their turnover intentions.
Anti-melanogenic effect of Water Soluble Royal Jelly on Melanin Biosynthesis

Royal jelly (RJ) is one of the most attractive functional foods that have been a commercial product, especially in dietetics and cosmetics in many countries. However, RJ has been evoked with dermatitis, acute asthma and anaphylaxis because of major RJ proteins. Therefore, to access water soluble royal jelly (WSRJ) that removed allergy-induced proteins as an effective whitening agent for cosmetics and potential external treatment for topical use, we investigated its ability to inhibit melanin biosynthesis. B16F1 cells were treated with 10 nM α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α -MSH) for 48hr, and then were treated with various doses of WSRJ for 36hr. WSRJ (1-10ug/ml) inhibited direct tyrosinase activity and cellular tyrosinase activity, which lead to the decrease of melanin synthesis in α-MSH stimulated B16F1 melanoma cells. In addition, we examined RT-PCR and Western blotting for melanogenesis-related genes such as tyrosinase, tyrosinase related protein 1 (TRP-1) and 2. WSRJ suppressed mRNA and protein expression of tyrosinase, tyrosinase related protein (TRP)-1 and TRP-2 in α-MSH stimulated B16F1 cells, and similar to positive control, arbutin. Our findings suggest that WSRJ induced the downregulation of melanogenesis by inhibiting tyrosinase, TRP-1 and 2 activations. It may serve as a new candidate in the new skin-whitening agents.

Royal jelly (RJ) is exclusive food that is secreted from the hypopharyngeal and mandibular glands of worker honeybees, and it is well known to be a necessary for the growth of the queen honeybee Although fresh royal jelly have been demonstrated to enhance wound healing, the wound healing effects of water soluble royal jelly (WSRJ) have not been elucidated. We investigated whether WSRJ promotes the migration, attachment, and proliferation of human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs) during in vitro wound healing. HDFs were treated with 1-5ug/ml WSRJ and RJ for up to 24hr following wound formation. Cell migration was assessed by measuring recovery from wound margin, while cell attachment and proliferation were determined by MTT assay. By observing the numbers of cell attached, we confirmed that not only WSRJ but also RJ did not affect on the initial cell adhesion. WSRJ (5 ug/ml) enhanced cell migration rate approximately 84.3% in HDFs at 24hr, whereas RJ (5 ug/ml) increased cell migration rate 71.3% in HDFs at 24hr, which is similar to cell migration rate of WSRJ 1 ug/ml (73.7%). In cell proliferation assays, WSRJ induced an increase in the number of HDFs, compared with control and RJ. In conclusion, WSRJ promotes cell migration with increased cell proliferation in an in vitro wound healing model.
Histamine Test of Honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) Venom by Cats

Honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) venom has been used as a complementary medicine. However, bee venom (BV) causes serious allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. In this study, we evaluated histamine test of BV in cats by The Korean Pharmacopoeia. The decrease of blood pressure caused by BV was not greater than that caused by 0.1ug of histamine. This result determined the safety of histamine release of BV. We suggest that BV is not to be induced allergens.
Stability of Purified Bee Venom on the Treatment Temperature

For the investigation of the stability of purified bee venom(PBV) during the treatment in the temperature range of 50℃ to 120℃ for 24 hours, respectively, melittin contents, antibacterial effects, and cell regenerations were investigated. The changes in the melittin contents of PBV were not significantly different by treatment temperature below 70℃ for 24 houes and 80℃ for 4 hours. However the melttin contents is great decline after 24 hours above 80℃ for 24 hours. Antibacterial effects is not change below 80℃ for 4 houes but significantly decrease above 80℃ for 24 hours. Cell regenerations of PBV on human dermal fibroblast decreased at 80℃ for 24 houes, showing a significant difference from the below 80℃ for 4 houes. Through the temperature stability of PBV results of this study, it was treated that the melittin contents, antibacterial effects and cell regeneration effects of PBV could be maintained above 80℃ for 4 hours.

Since the ancient times the therapeutic application of honeybee venom (BV) is practised and persisted until the present days. Resistant bacteria are in emergence and some drugs no longer have an antimicrobial action. To purify the melittin known as antibacterial peptide, five major peptidergic subfractions were separated, purified and identified from the whole BV. We investigated the antibacterial activity of whole BV and purified melittin against Staphylococcus aureus by the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) and the postantibiotic effect (PAE). The MIC of whole BV for S. aureus was 0.06 ㎍/㎖, respectively. The MIC of melittin was 0.06 ㎍/㎖ on S. aureus. The in vitro PAE of whole BV and isolated melittin were determined using E. coli and S. aureus. The PAE of whole BV against S. aureus were 3.45 h (1×MIC). The PAE of melittin against S. aureus was 4.35 h (1 × MIC). Also both whole BV and melittin killed S. aureus at 5 × MIC. The regrowth wasn't observed after 18 h. These results suggest that whole BV and melittin will be developed a novel antibacterial drug.

The aim of the study was to the determination quantitatively of the major constituents of honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) venom from Korea by liquid chromatography. Samples of honeybee venom were purchased from Chungjin, Ibee and Sigma over two consecutive beekeeping season (2007~2008). The sephadex TM75 and source 15RPC ST column was applied. Several honeybee venom constituents were separated and the content of three of them (melittin, apamine and phospholipase A₂) were determined. The chemical composition of honeybee venom from Korea were evaluated. Melittin content varied from 48.5 to 67.2 and averaged 50.7%. Apamin content camewithin a range of 2.0 to 3.2, and averaged 2.8%, and phospholipase A₂ content was between 10.8 to 14.5, averaging 12.8%. There is no statistically significant differences for the content of the main component compared standard honeybee venom to domestic honeybee venom. The quantitative composition of melittin, apamine and phospholipase A₂ may provide a basis for the development of the domestic standard for honeybee venom.

Pure honeybee venom collected from Korea (KHBV) was assayed to find the protein composition and compared with standard honeybee venom from Sigma (SHBV), by tris-glycin gel electrophoreisis and two-dimensional gel elecrophoresis. The 10 excised spots from KHBV and SHBV were analyzed by mass spectrometry. Both pure KHBV and SHBV shows homologies in the molecular weight and amino acid sequence.
