We introduce in Sostak’s fuzzy topological spaces definitions of paracompactness, almost paracompactness, and near paracompactness all of which turn to be good extensions of their classical topological counterparts. Fuzzy semi-paracompact, para S-closed and weakly paracompact spaces are treated to a similar approach.

<P>The ALICE Collaboration at the LHC has measured the J/<I>ψ</I> and <I>ψ</I>′ photoproduction at mid-rapidity in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb collisions at [FORMULA OMISSION].</P><P>The charmonium is identified via its leptonic decay for events where the hadronic activity is required to be minimal. The analysis is based on an event sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 23 μb<SUP>−1</SUP>. The cross section for coherent and incoherent J/<I>ψ</I> production in the rapidity interval −0.9<<I>y</I><0.9, are [FORMULA OMISSION] and [FORMULA OMISSION], respectively. The results are compared to theoretical models for J/<I>ψ</I> production and the coherent cross section is found to be in good agreement with those models incorporating moderate nuclear gluon shadowing at Bjorken-<I>x</I> around 10<SUP>−3</SUP>, such as EPS09 parametrization. In addition the cross section for the process <I>γγ</I>→<I>e</I><SUP>+</SUP><I>e</I><SUP>−</SUP> has been measured and found to be in agreement with models implementing QED at leading order.</P>

In<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB> is employed as a new passivation layer in PbS quantum dot-based multilayered photoanodes to coalesce the improvement in photocurrent density (J<SUB>SC</SUB>) and open-circuit voltage. Suppression of detrimental interfacial charge carrier recombination in In<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB>/PbS/TiO<SUB>2</SUB> and In<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB>/PbS/CdS/TiO<SUB>2</SUB> multilayered photoanodes, attributed to the In<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB> passivation layer, leads to increased V<SUB>OC</SUB> in both photoanodes. In particular, In<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB>/PbS/CdS/TiO<SUB>2</SUB> multilayered photoanode exhibited a substantial improvement of ~36% (from 3.2 to 4.3%) in power conversion efficiency, which is attributed to significant increase in J<SUB>SC</SUB> value of ~26mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP> by enhanced PbS loading and co-sensitizing effect of CdS along with substantially suppressed interfacial recombination. In-depth electrochemical impedance spectroscopic analysis revealed that the resistance against back-transfer of electrons to electrolyte can be subtly modulated by incorporating In<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB> deposition over PbS. Further, this multiple passivation layer turned out to be beneficial for improving photocorrosion of PbS in a polysulfide electrolyte.
CONNECTEDNESS IN INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY TOPOLOGICAL SPACES

We introduce the notion of (r,s)-connected sets in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces and investigate some properties of them. In particular, we show that every (r,s)-component in an intuitionistic fuzzy topological space is (r,s)-component in the stratification of it.

Finite difference analysis were applied to study the principle operation of monopole antenna for moisture determination in oil palm fruit at 2 GHz. The electromagnetic field interact with oil palm fruit on the interface between the antenna and oil palm fruit and cause a reflection. The reflection measurement is based on mismatch impedance or dielectric properties between two media. Reflection coefficient is used to quantify the level of reflection. The monopole antenna was made of RG405/U semi-rigid coaxial cable with an inner and outer diameter of 0.45 mm and 1.50 mm, respectively with 2.23 mm length of protruding conductor over 5.66 cm length of monopole antenna. This monopole antenna for moisture detection was compared with induced EMF method in terms of reflection coefficient at 2 GHz. The results show that the complex reflection coefficient measured using monopole antenna provides significant results to predict moisture content in oil palm fruit.
New approach for closure spaces by relations via ideals

The main aim of this paper is to integrate the relationships among rough set theory and topology. We introduce the interior and closure operators with respect to an ideal defined on an approximation space, generating an ideal approximation space. Some topological notions such as the subspace, continuous functions, lower separation axioms, and connectedness in ideal approximation spaces are defined and studied. Some examples are given to confirm the implications.
Fuzzy soft upper and lower semi-continuous multifunctions

In this paper, we define the upper and lower inverse of a fuzzy soft multifunction and prove some basic identities. Then by using these ideas we introduce the concept of fuzzy soft continuity and obtain many interesting properties of fuzzy soft upper and lower semi-continuous multifunctions. Also, we define the notions of fuzzy soft lower $({\mathcal{A}}, {\mathcal{B}}, {\mathcal{C}}, {\mathcal{D}},{\mathcal{I}})$-continuity and fuzzy soft upper $({\mathcal{A}}, {\mathcal{B}}, {\mathcal{C}}, {\mathcal{D}},{\mathcal{I}})$-continuity. Moreover, we present different cases of upper and lower fuzzy soft continuous multifunctions.
