Influence of Real-Information to Change Tourists' Travel Route

The tourism system as a whole is becoming less sustainable, both because of its overall rapid growth and the unwillingness to change travel behavior (tourists). In the field of the tourism, the tourists' activities have influences on the protection and development of the natural scenic. In order to understand the tourist' intention to change travel route based on real-time information, this paper adds trust to the model of theory of planned behavior (TPB). Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis are used to identify and confirm the constructs. In addition, structural equation modeling was established to test the measure model. Results indicate that the attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have positive effect on the behavioral intention of changing travel route according to real-time information. Moreover, trust also has positive influence on behavioral intention via three antecedents of intention. The findings have implications for predicting the tourist's intention of travel route change.
An overlay-based service architecture for distributed video surveillance system

In this paper, a service architecture based on overlay network was presented. The architecture was designed to build a novel distributed video surveillance system, called as Etouch. In the model, the system is divided into three layers: underlying network layer (UNL) , overlay service network layer (OSNL) and application layer (AL). OSNL is composed of many intelligent overlay nodes mapped by underlying network layer. Overlay nodes provide all kinds of media service for surveillance application in AL. OSNL allows media service composition of distributed stream processing applications dynamically. And a load balance of QoS-aware service composition algorithm (LBQSC) is employed to satisfy their end-to-end QoS demands. Large-scale experimental results demonstrate the scalability, efficiency and performance of the E-touch system.

Selenium is a harmful trace element emitted during the combustion process of coal-fired power plants. Most of the selenium is enriched in the downstream wet flue gas desulfurization system (WFGD). Thisstudy found that S2O28 is the most important factor affecting the oxidation of selenite. In the processof simulating slurry oxidation of selenite to selenate, the presence of S2O28 can increase the oxidationrate of selenate from about 50% to about 80%. At the same time, this study also considered the influenceof selenium concentration, initial pH, SO2 concentration and temperature etc. on the transformation ofselenium species. It was believed that the application of ORP to the indication of selenite oxidation statusneeds further demonstration. Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) were used to confirm the migration of selenium in the desulfurization slurry to gypsum. Inaddition, DFT calculation was performed to obtain theoretical parameters for the adsorption of seleniteand selenate by gypsum. The results of this study are helpful to understand the transformation andmigration of selenium in the desulfurization system, which provide theoretical support for the realizationof selenium in-situ control.

<P>High frequency ultrasound over 40 MHz has been used to image the anterior segment of the eye, but it is not suitable for the posterior segment due to the frequency-dependent attenuation of ultrasound and thus the limitation of penetration depth. This paper proposes a novel scan method to image the posterior segment of the eye with an angled high frequency (beyond 40 MHz) ultrasound needle transducer. In this method, the needle transducer is inserted into the eye through a small incision hole (~1 mm in diameter) and rotated around the axial direction to form a cone-shaped imaging plane, allowing the spatial information of retinal vessels and diagnosis of their occlusion to be displayed. The feasibility of this novel technique was tested with images of a wire phantom, a polyimide tube, and an excised pig eye obtained by manually rotating a 40 MHz PMN-PT needle transducer with a beveled tip of 45deg. From the results, we believe that rotational scan imaging will help expand the minimally invasive applications of high frequency ultrasound to other areas due to the capability of increased closeness of an angled needle transducer to structures of interest buried in other tissues.</P>
