유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 실현 가능성이 높아지면서 Automatic Identification and Data Capture(AIDC)에 대한 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. AIDC 기술 중 하나인 Radio Frequency IDentification(RFID)는 라디오 주파수에 따라 반응하는 태그를 이용하여 사람이나 사물을 인식하는 기술이다. 또한 RFID 특성을 지원하면서 발생 이벤트를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 다양한 미들웨어가 개발되고 있다. 그러나 미들웨어의 지원에도 불구하고 RFID 시스템 개발자는 많은 부가적 지식을 알아야만 한다. 이 점을 해결하여 RFID 기술을 편리하게 사용하도록 돕는 Business Aware Framework(BizAF)이 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 BizAF를 기반으로 여러 애플리케이션을 개발한 경험을 바탕으로 RFID 비즈니스 이벤트들을 생성하기 위한 모델링 프로세스를 제시하고자 한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 실현 가능성이 높아지면서 사용자가 존재하는 장소와 그곳의 환경에 따른 맞춤 서비스의 제공이 요구된다. 이러한 맞춤 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 사용자 주변 환경을 인지 및 판단하여 서비스를 제공하는 소프트웨어가 필요하다. 소프트웨어가 환경을 인지하여 처리하려면 환경은 소프트웨어가 이해할 수 있도록 모델링 되고 언어로 표현되어야 한다. 기존의 context 모델링 방법은 특정상황에 초점이 맞추어져있어 다른 상황에의 적용이 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 도메인에 적용 가능한 다단계 상황 모델링 방법, 이를 ontology언어 OWL을 사용하여 나타내는 방법, 이것을 적용하기 위한 적응형 소프트웨어 개발 framework를 제시한다.

'Purpose: Although previous studies have found an association between brain iron levels and brain function, few have explored this relationship in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Thus, we aimed to determine the association between quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM)-derived magnetic susceptibility values (MSVs) and brain function in children with ASD. Materials and Methods: The study included children with ASD who underwent both a brain magnetic resonance imaging with QSM and the Wechsler intelligence scale for children intelligence quotient (IQ) test. Select subcortical brain regions (caudate, putamen, globus pallidus, and thalamus; both right and left) were automatically segmented, and the MSVs were extracted from the QSM. The IQ score parameters (verbal comprehension, working memory, perceptual organization, and processing speed indices, and full-scale IQ) were measured. Correlation analysis was used to assess the association between age and IQ test parameters and between age and MSV. Linear regression analysis was performed to measure the relationship between the MSV and IQ test parameters. Results: A total of 23 children with ASD (median age [interquartile range]: 10 [8–14] years; 12 males) were included. Age was not correlated with any of the IQ test parameters (p > 0.05). There was a significant correlation between age and right-thalamus MSV (r = 0.443, p = 0.03); however, no such correlation was found with the MSVs of other regions (p > 0.05). Among the IQ test parameters, the verbal comprehension index significantly correlated with the left-caudate MSV (r = 0.420, p = 0.046) and the perceptual organization index significantly correlated with the right-globus-pallidus MSV (r = 0.414, p = 0.049). Conclusion: Select subcortical MSVs were associated with IQ test parameters in children with ASD, suggesting that QSM is a potential neurodevelopmental marker.
Political Homophily: The overlooked side of story in emergency management networks

While the current field of emergency management has focused on implementationoriented arrangements among key stakeholders, few have systemically investigated the creation and development of interorganizational collaboration led by political actors especially after a catastrophic event. Following an Institutional collective Action framework, this research aims to examine to what extent homophily between political actors such as elected officials and council members at the local level affects patterns of interorganizational collaboration in emergency response. By utilizing Quadric Assignment Procedure logistic regression models with 2015 Seoul emergency management datasets, this research found evidence that political homophily has a positive effect on facilitating interorganizational collaboration regarding to emergency management. The analysis results show that a dyadic tie with political homophily boosts local responders forging ties with other agencies during emergencies. The findings imply that political solidarity formulated by mayors and council members can broaden the scope of interorganizational collaboration to other critical actors such as local agencies, private firms, and nonprofits by mitigating institutional collective action problems at the local level.

Since the farside of the moon is a place to avoid artificial radio frequency interference (RFI) created by human civilization, it is a most suitable place for searching technosignature, which are signs of technological civilization in the universe, in the radio band. The RFI is a factor that makes the study of searching technosignature quite complicated because it is difficult to distinguish between technological signals produced by human and extraterrestrial civilizations. In this paper, we review why the farside of the moon is the best place to detect technosignature and also introduce radio observatories on the farside of the moon that have been proposed in radio astronomy. The SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project on the farside of the moon is expected to be one of the main candidates for international collaboration research topics on lunar surface observatory.
