        日本の佛敎受容と排斥の說話

        본 론문은 『聖德太子傳曆』(이하 『傳曆』)에 있는 불교 수용과 배척 설화에 관한 고찰로, 불교 수용과 폐불 기사를 중심으로 『傳曆』이 가지는 특징을 日本書紀나 『補闕記』 와 비교하면서 검토했다. 이 두가지 문헌은『傳曆 』본문에도 선행 문헌으로 이름이 나오는 것이다. 여기서는 일부의 기사를 비 교한 뿐이지만, 『傳曆』 본문의 성립은 단순하게 이것들을 연결했다기보다 이것들을 참조하면서도 스스로의 시각에서 재구축 한 것이라고 말할 수 있을 것이다. 물론 성덕태자전으로서『補闕記 』에 가깝지만, 폐불 기사가 거 의 없는 『補闕記 』에 비해서 상당히 자세한 서술을 가지고 있다. 『曆錄 』등 현재 흩어 없어진 문언도 인용되어 있기 때문에 이것들이『傳曆 』만의 것인 지 판단이 어렵지만, 내용을 비교하면 어느 정도 독자적인 변경이 있다고 보 는 것이 타당하다고 생각된다. In this article, I explored narratives of reception and exclusion of Buddhism in “Syoutoku-Taishi Denryaku”. To discuss this problem, I compared “Syoutoku-Taishi Denryaku” with “Nihon shoki” and “Jougu Shoutokutaishi-den Hoketsuki”, both of which were quoted in “Syoutoku- Taishi Denryaku”. Although I only compared some articles here, I concluded that the descriptions of “Syoutoku-Taishi Denryaku” were written in its own point of view rather than reconstructed from previously written books. And “Syoutoku-Taishi Denryaku” has a detailed article about the exclusion of Buddhism for which “Jougu Shoutokutaishi-den Hoketsuki” has only a few words. It``s difficult to determine whether those articles were quoted from other books or written uniquely, because previously written books like “Ryakuroku”, whose articles were quoted in “Syoutoku-Taishi Denryaku”, has been lost. But an article about a war against Mononobeno Moriya in “Syoutoku-Taishi Denryaku” shows that it has modified its previous ones by itself.

        Evaluation of the Microvascular Research Center Training Program for Assessing Microsurgical Skills in Trainee Surgeons

        Background We established the Microvascular Research Center Training Program (MRCP)to help trainee surgeons acquire and develop microsurgical skills. Medical students were recruited to undergo the MRCP to assess the effectiveness of the MRCP for trainee surgeons. Methods Twenty-two medical students with no prior microsurgical experience, who completed the course from 2005 to 2012, were included. The MRCP comprises 5 stages of training,each with specific passing requirements. Stages 1 and 2 involve anastomosing silicone tubes and blood vessels of chicken carcasses, respectively, within 20 minutes. Stage 3 involves anastomosing the femoral artery and vein of live rats with a 1-day patency rate of >80%. Stage 4 requires replantation of free superficial inferior epigastric artery flaps in rats with a 7-day success rate of >80%. Stage 5 involves successful completion of one case of rat replantation/transplantation. We calculated the passing rate for each stage and recorded the number of anastomoses required to pass stages 3 and 4. Results The passing rates were 100% (22/22) for stages 1 and 2, 86.4% (19/22) for stage 3, 59.1% (13/22) for stage 4, and 55.0% (11/20) for stage 5. The number of anastomoses performed was 17.2±12.2 in stage 3 and 11.3±8.1 in stage 4. Conclusions Majority of the medical students who undertook the MRCP acquired basic microsurgical skills. Thus, we conclude that the MRCP is an effective microsurgery training program for trainee surgeons.

      • Serum Periplakin as a Potential Biomarker for Urothelial Carcinoma of the Urinary Bladder

        The objectives of this study were to examine serum periplakin expression in patients with urothelial carcinoma of the urinary bladder and in normal controls, and to examine relationships with clinicopathological findings. Detection of serum periplakin was performed in 50 patients and 30 normal controls with anti-periplakin antibodies using the automatic dot blot system, and a micro-dot blot array with a 256 solid-pin system. Levels in patients with urothelial carcinoma of the urinary bladder were significantly lower than those in normal controls (0.31 and 5.68, respectively; p<0.0001). The area under the receiver-operator curve level for urothelial carcinoma of the urinary bladder was 0.845. The sensitivity and specificity, using a cut-off point of 4.045, were 83.7% and 73.3%, respectively. In addition, serum periplakin levels were significantly higher in patients with muscle-invasive cancer than in those with nonmuscle-invasive cancer (P = 0.03). In multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis, none of the clinicopathological factors was associated with an increased risk for progression and cancer-specific survival. Examination of the serum periplakin level may play a role as a non-invasive diagnostic modality to aid urine cytology and cystoscopy.

      • Aliphatic C−H Bond Activation Initiated by a (μ-η<sup>2</sup>:η<sup>2</sup>-Peroxo)dicopper(II) Complex in Comparison with Cumylperoxyl Radical

        <P>A (mu-eta(2):eta(2)-peroxo)dicopper(II) complex, [Cu(2)(H-L)(O(2))](2+) (1-O(2)), supported by the dinucleating ligand 1,3-bis[bis(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl]benzene (H-L) is capable of initiating C-H bond activation of a variety of external aliphatic substrates (SH(n)): 10-methyl-9,10-dihydroacridine (AcrH(2)), 1,4-cyclohexadiene (1,4-CHD), 9,10-dihydroanthracene (9,10-DHA), fluorene, tetralin, toluene, and tetrahydrofuran (THF), which have C-H bond dissociation energies (BDEs) ranging from approximately 75 kcal mol(-1) for 1,4-CHD to approximately 92 kcal mol(-1) for THF. Oxidation of SH(n) afforded a variety of oxidation products, such as dehydrogenation products (SH((n-2))), hydroxylated and further-oxidized products (SH((n-1))OH and SH((n-2))=O), dimers formed by coupling between substrates (H((n-1))S-SH((n-1))) and between substrate and H-L (H-L-SH((n-1))). Kinetic studies of the oxidation of the substrates initiated by 1-O(2) in acetone at -70 degrees C revealed that there is a linear correlation between the logarithms of the rate constants for oxidation of the C-H bonds of the substrates and their BDEs, except for THF. The combination of this correlation and the relatively large deuterium kinetic isotope effects (KIEs), k(2)(H)/k(2)(D) (13 for 9,10-DHA, approximately > 29 for toluene, and approximately 34 for THF at -70 degrees C and approximately 9 for AcrH(2) at -94 degrees C) indicates that H-atom transfer (HAT) from SH(n) (SD(n)) is the rate-determining step. Kinetic studies of the oxidation of SH(n) by cumylperoxyl radical showed a correlation similar to that observed for 1-O(2), indicating that the reactivity of 1-O(2) is similar to that of cumylperoxyl radical. Thus, 1-O(2) is capable of initiating a wide range of oxidation reactions, including oxidation of aliphatic C-H bonds having BDEs from approximately 75 to approximately 92 kcal mol(-1), hydroxylation of the m-xylyl linker of H-L, and epoxidation of styrene (Matsumoto, T.; et al.         Magneto-Optical Properties of ZnMnSe-ZnSe-ZnCdSe Quantum Structures

        We have studied the circularly polarized photoluminescence (PL) and reflectance properties of a series of ZnSe/ZnCdSe/ZnSe/ZnMnSe single quantum wells (SQWs) and ZnSe/ZnCdSe/ ZnSe/ZnCdMnSe /ZnSe coupled double quantum wells (DQWs). The degree of circular polarization of the exciton luminescence from the ZnCdSe non-magnetic semiconductor (NMS) well was studied as a function of the spacer layer thickness and the exciton energies in the NMS and the diluted magnetic semiconductor (DMS) regions. The polarization degree became larger as the spacer thickness became smaller. The polarization also depended on the excito n energies in the NMS and the DMS regions and became larger as the exciton energy in the nCdSe well became closer to that in the DMS layer or the DMS well.

        The high pressure compaction without internal lubricant and the high green density even with the pore free density were achieved by the newly developed die wall lubricant for warm compaction. This developed die wall lubricated warm compaction followed by high temperature sintering resulted in not only the superior mechanical property but also the low dimensional change. In this paper, the effects of increasing the green density on the sintered density, the dimensional change and the mechanical property are mainly discussed

        Comparison of Bilateral and Trisegment Drainage in Patients with High-Grade Hilar Malignant Biliary Obstruction: A Multicenter Retrospective Study

        Background/Aims: Bilateral endoscopic drainage with self-expanding metallic stent (SEMS) can be used to effectively manage hilar malignant biliary obstruction. However, the benefits of using a trisegment drainage method remain unknown. Methods: This study retrospectively reviewed the data of 125 patients with Bismuth type IIIa or IV unresectable malignant strictures who underwent bilateral endoscopic drainage using SEMSs at four tertiary centers. The patients were divided into the bilateral and trisegment drainage groups for comparison. The primary endpoint was stent patency and the secondary endpoints were technical success, technical and clinical success of reintervention, and overall survival. Results: The technical success rates of the bilateral and trisegment drainage groups were 95% (34/36) and 90% (80/89) (p=0.41), respectively, with median stent patency durations of 226 and 170 days (p=0.26), respectively. Although the technical success of reintervention was not significantly different between the two groups (p=0.51), the clinical success rate of reintrvention was significantly higher in the trisegment drainage group (73% [11/15] vs 96% [47/49], p=0.009). The median survival times were 324 and 323 days in the bilateral and trisegment drainage groups, respectively (p=0.72). Multivariate Cox hazards model revealed no stent patency-associated factor; however, chemotherapy was associated with longer survival. Conclusions: Although no significant difference was noted with respect to stent patency, significantly higher clinical success rates were achieved with reintervention using the trisegment drainage method than using the bilateral drainage method alone.

      • Structural Design of an Ultra High-rise Building Using Concrete Filled Tubular Column with 780 N/㎟ Class High-strength Steel and Fc150 N/㎟ High-strength Concrete

        In recent years, the performance requested for which an ultra-high rise buildings is diversified. Large spans are designed in order to gain wide workspace. Column positions are shifted in middle stories to provide space different from neighboring floors. Moreover, in the bottom layers of the building, it is becoming more important to expand freedom to plan flexibility such as creating publically opened wide atria that gives attractive free space. Earthquake-proof criteria is also changing not only human life protection deign but also a design that allows functional continuity. In order to achieve thee needs, as one of technology, we have developed ultra-high strength concrete filled tubular (CFT) columns of the box section that combine ultra-high strength concrete with specified strength of $150N/mm^2$ and ultra-high strength steel material with tensile strength of $780N/mm^2$. In this paper, the outline of development of an ultra-high strength CFT column is reported. Also, the structural design of the ultra-high-rise building using the CFT columns is reported.
