Based on data of 2485 PPP projects in 46 developing countries from 2002 to 2013, we empirically investigate the effect of institutional factors and international financial institutions in the success of PPP projects. We find out that: (1) Countries with more positive experiences are more likely to succeed the following PPP project; (2) PPP projects are more likely to fail with higher degree of private sectors’ risk sharing; quality of institution influences the success of PPP by directly influencing private sectors’ risk sharing; (3) Institutional quality of the investment destination has mixed impact on the degree of private sectors’ risk sharing in PPP projects; specifically, increased rule of law, higher bureaucratic effectiveness, stronger control over corruption and better support to private sectors’ development are more likely to encourage private entities to shoulder more risks within the partnership, however, the democracy level of counties presents the contrary effect;(4) Multilateral financial institutions are positive factors to private sectors during choosing risk structure.

Objective Abnormalities of static brain activity have been reported in schizophrenia, but it remains to be clarified the temporal variability of intrinsic brain activities in schizophrenia and how atypical antipsychotics affect it.Methods We employed a resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) and a sliding-window analysis of dynamic amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (dALFF) to evaluate the dynamic brain activities in schizophrenia (SZ) patients before and after 8-week antipsychotic treatment. Twenty-six schizophrenia individuals and 26 matched healthy controls (HC) were included in this study. Results Compared with HC, SZ showed stronger dALFF in the right inferior temporal gyrus (ITG.R) at baseline. After medication, the SZ group exhibited reduced dALFF in the right middle occipital gyrus (MOG.R) and increased dALFF in the left superior frontal gyrus (SFG.L), right middle frontal gyrus (MFG.R), and right inferior parietal lobule (IPL.R). Dynamic ALFF in IPL.R was found to significant negative correlate with the Scale for the Assessment of Negative Symptoms (SANS) scores at baseline. Conclusion Our results showed dynamic intrinsic brain activities altered in schizophrenia after short term antipsychotic treatment. The findings of this study support and expand the application of dALFF method in the study of the pathological mechanism in psychosis in the future.
Dynamic Changes of Transcriptome and Metabolites During Ripening of Alpinia Oxyphylla Fruit (AOF)

Alpinia oxyphylla (Yizhi) is an economically valuable plant, not only used as edible fruit, but also as an important traditional medicinal material. However, there are few studies on fruit development and metabolic pathways. To elucidate the dynamic changes of metabolites and transcription levels during fruit development of A. oxyphylla, the four parts of A. oxyphylla fruit from different periods, including early fruit (EF), middle fruit (MF), late pericarp (LP) and late seed (LS) were collected. KEGG pathway analysis shows that DEGs in EF, MF, LP are involved in amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism, starch and sucrose metabolism, and plant hormone signal transduction. However, at the late part of fruit development (LS), most of the DEGs between LS and LP were enriched in pyruvate metabolism, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, tryptophan metabolism. We found that in the early and middle parts of fruit development (EF, MF), many differential metabolites were enriched in piperidine tropane and biosynthesis of secondary metabolites, pyridine alkaloid biosynthesis. In addition, important active components, such as nootkatone in A. oxyphylla fruits accumulated in the LS part, but did not show significant differences in the first three parts. Some key transcription factors that are significantly positively correlated with the maturation of AOF have also been identified. Together, our research provides new insights into the accumulation of metabolites and the dynamic changes of the transcriptome during fruit development.
