A self-healing hydrogel derived flexible all-solid-state supercapacitors based on dynamic borate bonds

        Lijie Tang,Yan Ma,Caixia Yang,Enxiang Liang,Hong Yin,Qiong Wan,Jiance Zhang,Wei Wang 한국공업화학회 2023 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.118 No.-

Flexible energy storage devices are susceptible to damage, which might result in safety issues. In thispaper, a self-healing flexible P(AAPBA-co-P4-AC) gel electrolyte based on dynamic borate bond crosslinkingstrategy is reported. On the one hand, it is simple to process into complicated shapes or patterns, and on the other hand, it could rapidly return to its original state after stress damage. Even after ten timesself-healing, the gel has the same mechanical properties as the non-damaged gel. Furthermore, this gelcan also be applied in all-solid-state supercapacitors without the need of extra electrolytes. Becausethe gel has a large number of hydroxyl groups, it has a high affinity for the activated carbon electrode, and the supercapacitors can maintain 100% initial performance under various angles or strains. Afterten thousand times cycles charge–discharge, the supercapacitors using the gel after twenty times selfhealingprocess can retain 90% of its initial capacity, which is only 4% lower than the non-damagingsupercapacitors, demonstrating high self-healing ability.

Potential Serum Markers for Monitoring the Progression of Hepatitis B Virus-Associated Chronic Hepatic Lesions to Liver Cirrhosis

( Cheng Wu ),( Lijie Liu ),( Peng Zhao ),( Dan Tang ),( Dingkang Yao ),( Liang Zhu ),( Zhiqiang Wang ) 대한소화기학회 2015 Gut and Liver Vol.9 No.5

Background/Aims: To screen for serum protein/peptide biomarkers of hepatitis B virus (HBV)-associated chronic hepatic lesions in an attempt to profile the progression of HBV-associated chronic hepatic lesions using surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF MS) techniques. Methods: Using SELDI-TOF MS, serum protein/peptide profiles on the CM10 ProteinChip arrays were obtained from a training group including 26 HBV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma patients with liver cirrhosis (LC), 30 HBV-associated LC patients, 85 patients at different stages of liver fibrosis, and 30 asymptomatic HBV carriers. The most valuable SELDI peak for predicting the progression to LC in HBV-infected patients was identified. Results: A SELDI peak of M/Z 5805 with value for predicting LC in HBV-infected patients was found and was identified as a peptide of the C-terminal fraction of the fibrinogen a-chain precursor, isoform 1. Conclusions: The peptide of the C-terminal fraction of the fibrinogen α-chain precursor, isoform 1 with M/Z 5805, may be a serological biomarker for progression to LC in HBV-infected patients. • A study of a new hybrid vibration energy harvester based on broadband-multimode

Bing Chen,Shiqing Li,Xiaolei Tang,Lijie Zhang 국제구조공학회 2021 Smart Structures and Systems, An International Jou Vol.28 No.1

To improve the energy conversion efficiency and working frequency bandwidth of a single frequency piezoelectric vibration energy harvester, a new type of hybrid vibration energy harvester is developed which is combined with the mechanism of piezoelectric and electromagnetic energy conversion. The system comprises of a PZT cantilever beam, an elastic suspended magnetic mass, a magnet block attached to the end of the cantilever beam and a resonator. The addition of resonator can not only increase the mode, but also adjust the frequency of harvester flexibly. Nonlinear magnetic force of magnet block not only broadens the frequency band and improves the output performance of the system, but also changes the resonant frequency to make the harvester have better adjustable performance. On this basis, an improved electromechanical coupled analytical model of continuum is proposed which can be solved by the Runge-Kutta algorithm and the influence of different factors (the mass and spring stiffness of the resonator, as well as the electromechanical coupling coefficient, electromagnetic coupling coefficient, magnet mass and magnetic flux) on the output are analyzed. According to the prototype of the vibration energy harvester developed, an experimental system was built. The performance of the independent and hybrid energy harvesters is evaluated by experimental and analytical methods. The peak output voltage of the piezoelectric part was about 4 times that of the electromagnetic part. The peak output current of the electromagnetic part is about 30 times that of the piezoelectric part. The study results show that the proposed new hybrid vibration energy harvester can achieve a wider frequency range and multimodal vibration energy harvesting. In addition, the bandwidth and power of the harvester can be dynamically adjusted by changing the resonator or electromechanical coupling coefficient, and the bandwidth of the harvester can also be adjusted by changing the quality and characteristics of the magnet.
