        This paper is to make a metaphorical analysis of Korean political speeches. After giving a brief introduction to Framing Theory proposed by George Lakoff, the author analyzes the conceptual metaphor, surface and deep frames in two speeches delivered by Moon Jae in and Yoon Suk yeol. It is found that: Similar Metaphors such as JOURNEY, BARRIER were both used in Moon's and Yoon's speeches; The former focused more on the initiative of Korea and to play a leading role on the international stage while the latter emphasized more about Korea to contribute as the member of the international community. On the basis of the analysis this paper summarizes the Metaphorical Framing Model of Korean political speeches from the perspective of construction.

        In-Plane Dynamics Characteristics and Multi-Objective Optimization of Negative Poisson’s Ratio Honeycomb Structure with Power Function Curve

        As an alternative to the conventional concave hexagonal honeycomb structure (CHHS), a negative Poisson’s ratio honeycomb structure with power function curve (NHPC) was devised. The relationship between the power function exponent (PFE) and normalized power function coefficient (NPFC) of honeycomb structure and its equivalent Poisson’s ratio (EPR) was explored to identify the range of variables required for the negative Poisson’s ratio effect. To investigate the in-plane mechanical properties and energy absorption characteristics of NHPC, the deformation mode, dynamic response, and energy absorption characteristics under various impact velocities were studied by constructing an in-plane impact simulation model. The results showed that NHPC obviously exhibited a negative Poisson’s ratio effect on medium and low impact velocities, and the deformation was primarily uniform. As the NPFC increased, the honeycomb structure was less prone to stress concentration, while the peak crushing force (PCF) and the specific energy absorption (SEA) declined and the plateau stress increased. A multi-objective optimization experiment was operated with low PCF and high SEA as the targets within the range of design variables in order to generate the optimal NHPC. According to the experimental findings, the improved NHPC showed a 25.48 % reduction in PCF and a 19.29 % increase in SEA. This paper provides theoretical recommendations for improving the energy absorption and structural optimization of the honeycomb structure.

        韓國思想(한국사상)(文學(문학)) : 한,중 지향성 은유 표현 연구 - "낮다, 깊다, 질다, 막히다"를 중심으로 -

        인간의 사고와 행동이 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있다는 인지언어학의 연구는 구체적이고 물리적인 환경 등을 통해 추상적인 개념과 사고를 이해할 수 있음을 은유 표현을 통해 구체적으로 증명해 오고 있다. 이 논문에서는 [좋은 것은 위, 나쁜 것은 아래]와 같은 지향성 은유가 다른 위치와 관련해서는 어떻게 표현되는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. ‘위’와 ‘아래’의 지향성 은유의 연구는 많은 진척이 있었지만 ‘위, 아래’를 제외한 다른 위치에 대해서는 연구가 미진한 편이기 때문이다. 이에 본고에서는 한국어와 중국어의 ‘낮은 곳, 깊은 곳, 진 곳, 막힌 곳’의 지향성 은유를 살펴보고자 먼저 ‘낮다, 깊다, 질다’의 사전적 의미를 살펴보았다. 그리고 이러한 위치 표현이 실제 어떻게 사용되고 있는지 한국과 중국의 신문 기사의 예문을 비교해 보았다. 그 결과 한국어의 경우 ‘낮은 곳’은 바닥과 관련되어 표현되는 반면 중국어는 ‘低谷’으로 표현되는 것을 알 수 있었다. ‘깊은 곳’의 경우 한국어는 ‘심연, 함정, 구렁텅이, 터널’ 등 다양한 어휘가 쓰였지만, 중국어는 ‘深淵, 陷穽’ 등이 주로쓰임을 알 수 있었다. ‘진 곳’의 경우 한국어와 중국어 모두 늪, 수렁, 진창, 泥潭, 泥뇨, 泥坑, 泥沼등 유의어가 활발하게 쓰임을 알 수 있었다. ‘막힌 곳’의 경우 ‘곤(困)’과 ‘궁(窮)’을 기반으로 한 한자어 은유 표현은 한국과 중국 모두 유사하게 나타났으나 중국어에는 ‘處境, 絶境, 田地’과 같이 한국어에서 나타나지 않는 어휘가 활발히 쓰임을 알 수 있었다. ‘낮다, 깊다, 질다, 막히다’와 관련해 한국어와 중국어의 다양한 사례를 포괄하지는 못하였지만, 두 언어의 공통점과 차이점을 통해 양국의 언어문화 이해에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 점에서 이 논문은 의미가 있을 것이다. This study analyses Cognitive Linguistics, which confirms that human``s thinking and behavior are closely related, proves also that abstract concepts and thinking can be understood with reference to concrete things in the environment through metaphorical expressions. This study analyses how to express the metaphors of orientation/direction such as [GOOD IS UP, BAD IS DOWN] with some other locations except ``up`` and ``down``. Metaphorical expressions corresponding to ``UP`` and ``DOWN`` seem to be analysed sufficiently, but there is still plenty of research to be done to explore these expressions with other locations. In this study we decided to focus on metaphors related to ``low locations``, ``deep locations``, ``watery locations`` and ``enclosed locations`` both in Korean and Chinese. At first, we analysed the dictionary definitions of ``low``, ``deep``, ``watery`` and ``enclosed`` in both languages, and then we compared them with the context they are used in sentences collected from newspaper articles. Our goal was to observe how these locations are actually used to express metaphorical meanings. As a result we found out that first, ``Low Locations`` in Korean is often used with expressions corresponding to ``바닥``, while in Chinese to ``低谷``, second, ‘Deep Locations’ in Korean is used with expressions corresponding to many words like ``심연, 함정, 구렁텅이, 터널``, while in Chinese to ``深淵, 陷穽``, and third, ``Watery Locations`` both in Korean and Chinese is used with expressions corresponding to ``늪, 수렁, 진창/泥潭, 泥뇨, 泥坑, 泥沼``. In addition, ``Enclosed Locations`` both in Korean and Chinese is used with expressions corresponding to ``困`` or ``窮`` and besides, It is proved that words like ``處境, 絶 境, 田地`` are sufficiently used as metaphorical expressions only in Chinese. We hope this research will help to understand better language culture of Korean and Chinese. We analysed only some examples of ``LOW``, ``DEEP``, ``WATERY`` and ``ENCLOSED`` locations, but we believe that the similarities and differences between Korean and Chinese we have already found out may contribute to the widespread study of metaphorical expressions in both languages.

        Influence of thermal effect on dynamic behavior of high-speed dry hobbing motorized spindle system

        This paper is devoted to investigating the influence of thermal effect on the dynamic behavior of a motorized spindle system in high-speed dry hobbing machine tool. First, the thermal induced preloads of combined bearings were calculated by characterizing the uneven temperature rise under operational condition. Subsequently, the influence relationship of thermal induced preload on the stiffness of combined bearings was studied. The change rules of the dynamic behavior of motorized spindle system with respect to the temperature rise were analyzed by coupling bearing stiffness and spindle dynamic models. Finally, experimental measurements on bearing temperature rise and spindle dynamic behavior were implemented for validation. The results indicate that thermal effects have a significant impact on the stiffness of combined bearings and hence the operating stability of high-speed dry hobbing motorized spindle system. This study can provide a reference for thermal dynamic optimization of motorized spindle system for high performance high-speed dry hobbing.

        Energy Consumption Evaluation in Stamping Workshops via a Discrete Event Simulation-Based Approach

        Stamping is employed in a wide range of applications in industry, which is composed of discrete flow energy-intensive processes. Durations of stamping activities are much shorter than that of mold changing and transportation, which makes energy consumption in stamping workshops greatly affected by the production scheme and the proportion of transportation volume. Different from machining that has been widely discussed, there is less research on energy saving in stamping workshops. This paper aims to evaluate the energy consumption of stamping on the workshop level. A theoretical model and a discrete event simulation model were developed based on energy flow and material flow in the workshop. The theoretical model was used to calculate each component of energy consumption based on production-related data. The simulation model was used to predict the overall energy required in the workshop when subjected to changes in its production conditions. Impacts of influence factors, including machine failure rate, proportion of transportation volume, and production scheme on energy consumption, makespan, and machine utilization rates, were studied to find opportunities for energy reduction and production efficiency improvement. Finally, a case study of a stamping workshop for forklifts validated the proposed approach, and optimization measures were suggested, implemented, and verified. Results have found that under the same production scheme (suppose each press has the same failure rate), the balance between energy use and makespan was achieved when the proportion of transportation volume was 1/2. This simulation-based approach provides a useful tool for evaluating and reducing energy consumption and helps operators to perform energy-saving actions in stamping workshops.

        Collaborative optimization for ring-stiffened composite pressure hull of underwater vehicle based on lamination parameters

        A Collaborative Optimization (CO) methodology for ring-stiffened composite material pressure hull of underwater vehicle is proposed. Structural stability and material strength are both examined. Lamination parameters of laminated plates are introduced to improve the optimization efficiency. Approximation models are established based on the Ellipsoidal Basis Function (EBF) neural network to replace the finite element analysis in layout optimizers. On the basis of a two-level optimization, the simultaneous structure material collaborative optimization for the pressure vessel is implemented. The optimal configuration of metal liner and frames and composite material is obtained with the comprehensive consideration of structure and material performances. The weight of the composite pressure hull decreases by 30.3% after optimization and the validation is carried out. Collaborative optimization based on the lamination parameters can optimize the composite pressure hull effectively, as well as provide a solution for low efficiency and non-convergence of direct optimization with design variables.
