Houttuynia cordata 및 Saururus chinensis의 정유성분에 관한 연구

Chemical components in the essential oil of Saururus chinensis and Houttuynia cordata growing in Korea were separated and identified by gas chromatograph and GC-mass spectrometry, and constituents of Saururus chinensis were very different from those of Houttuynia cordata, that is, the former was mainly composed of sesquiterpenoids(C_15H_24, M. W: 204) and safrole, while the latter monoterpenoids and lipids.

Antimicrobial acivity of the water extract of Saururus chinensis and Houttuynia cordata was compared with that of sythethic antibiotical such as ampicillin trihydrate, amoxicillin trihydrate and cefradin against several bacilli. While it was found that Saururus chinensis extract of 0.5 mg/ml had antimicrobial activity equal to 55% cefradin activity against Bacillus pumilus. 53% of ampicillin trihydrate activity against Bacillus subtilis and 60% cefradin activity against Alcaligenes feacalis. Houttuynia cordata extract of 0.1 mg/ml was found to have 60% ampicillin trihydrate activity and 80% amoxicillin trihydrate activity both against Bacillus pumilus, and 60 - 67% ampicillin trihydrate activity and 60 -67% cefradin activity both against Bacillus subtilis. In general it turned out that Houttuynia cordata extract had higher antimicrobial activity than Saururus chinensis extract.

Four flavonoids such as quercitrin, rutin, hyperin and isoquercitrin were isolated from the aerial parts of Houttuynia cordata growing in Korea, and identified by the comparison of their TLC, GC and HPLC chromatogram with those of pure authentic compounds, and reynoutrin and afzerin reported were not detected.

The volatile constituents from the aerial parts of Houttuynia cordata(Yakmomil) originating in Korea(Ulleung-do) have been isolated by gas chromatography(GC) using two columns (OV-1 and PEG-20M) and identified by the comparison of their gas chromatograms or mass spectra with those of pure authentic compounds. The analysis shows that the volatile constituents of Houttuynia cordata of Korea are α-pinene, β-pinene, p-cymene, camphene, myrcene, limonene, linalool, geraniol, borneol, bornyl acetate, β-caryophyllene, humulene(α-caryophyllene), thymol, octanal, decanal, dodecanal, 2-undecanone, decanoic acid, dodecanoic acid, tetradecanoic acid and hexadecanoic acid.
Quantitative Determination of ABS from Mixture of Anionic and Nonionic Detergents by NMR

음이온세제와 비이온세제의 혼합물에서 alkylbenzene sulfonate 계통의 음이온 세기가 NMR법에 의해서 정량되었다. 음이온세제와 비이온세제의 혼합물에 대한 NMR 스펙트럼에서, 벤젠 그룹은 6.5∼8ppm에서 중첩된 피크를 보여주나 sampling 후의 벤젠 그룹은 7∼8ppm에서 두개의 doublet을 보여준다. 검량선은 음이온세제의 벤젠그룹과 초산의 메칠그룹의 상대적인 면적비에 의해서 작성되었다. (초산은 내부표준물로 사용되었다.) Amounts of alkylbenzene sulfonate (ABS) in the mixtures of anionic and nonionic detergents were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) method. In the NMR spectrum of anionic and nonionic detergents, benzene group showed peaks overlapping at 6.5∼8ppm, but after sampling, benzene group showed two doublet at 7∼8ppm. Calibration curve was obtained by relative ratio of area for benzene group in anionic detergent to that for methyl group in acetic acid(acetic acid was used as the internal standard).
