        So far, the navigation system was mainly equiped in ship and airplane industry field. However, to obtain faster, more accurate, and more effective information, the research for car navigation is focused recently. The necessary factors for car navigation system are road map, position, bearing information, speed sensor, and rotation angle of auto mobile. The many smallized sensors which obtain the position information from GPS are developed, and used in the real world. The main compasses which inform the most important bearing angle are Magnetic and Gyro. Furthermore, OFG(Optical Fiber Gyro)and Flux gate sensors which can be applied to car navigation since the size is small. Recently, GPS compass which calculates the bearing angle information from GPS is developed. In this paper, flux gate type sensor which is small, light, low cost, and suitable for car navigation is planed, and developed. also, bearing analysis algorithm is proposed.

        페스탈로치의『탐구』에 나타난 인간의 존재방식과 다문화교육의 과제

        이 연구는 페스탈로치의 인간이해와 그에 기초한 교육관을 이해할 수 있는 주요 저작인『인류의 발전에 있어서 자연의 과정 에 대한 탐구 Meine Nachforschungen über den Gang der Natur in der Entwicklung des Mensche ngeschlechts』(1797, 이하 『탐구』)에 나타난 인간의 존재방식에 대하여 살펴 보고, 그로부터 다문화 교육의 과제를 도출해 보고자 하였다. 그를 위하여먼저 『 탐구 』에 나타난 인간 존재방식의 세 유형인 자연적 존재방식, 사회적 존재방식, 도덕적 존재 방식의 특징을 이해하고자 하였다. 그런 다음 인간의 존재방식과 교육의 관계를 살펴보고, 결론으로 다문화교육의 과제를 도덕적 존재방식에서 자신의 삶을 구성할 수 있는 인간 형성에 두어야 한다고 제시하였다. 그 근거로 사회적 존재방식은 동물적 이기심이 유지되면서 동물적 야만과 도덕적 고상화의 사이에서 취하는 존재방식임으로 위선이고, 언제든지 동물적 상태로 추락할 수 있는 위험성이 있다는 페스탈로치의 관점을 취하였다. This study explored existence way of human being in the book 『My inquiries in to the course of nature in the development of human being』(1797) which enable d to comprehend human understand ing of Pestalozzi and his view of education, and suggested tasks for multicultural education. For this, I tried to understand three types of existence way: natural, social and moral existence way. In a next place, I examined relation between the existence way of human being and education. As a result , I suggested that task s of multi cultural education should be based on Pestalozzi’s concept about mora l existence way. In a viewpoint of Pestalozzi, socal existence way is hypocritical because it is too k in somewhere bet ween savagery and morality an d is maintained by selfishness of animal. Also, this existence way can have a ris k to put human being into animal status.

        Assessment of neutron-induced activation of irradiated samples in a research reactor

        The combination of MCNP6 and the FISPACT codes was used to predict inventories of radioisotopes produced by neutron exposure of a sample in a research reactor. The detailed MCNP6 model of the Budapest Research Reactor and the specific irradiation geometry of the NAA channel was established, while realistic material cards were specified based on concentrations measured by PGAA and NAA, considering the precursor elements of all significant radioisotopes. The energy- and spatial distributions of the neutron field calculated by MCNP6 were transferred to FISPACT, and the resulting activities were validated against those measured using neutron-irradiated small and bulky targets. This approach is general enough to handle different target materials, shapes, and irradiation conditions. A general agreement within 10% has been achieved. Moreover, the method can also be made applicable to predict the activation properties of the near-vessel concrete of existing nuclear installations or assist in the optimal construction of new nuclear power plant units.

        Differential effects of sodium channel blockers on in vitro induced epileptiform activities

        Antiepileptic drugs act on voltage gated sodiumchannels in many different ways: rufinamide is thought toinfluence the fast inactivation, so its anticonvulsant actioncould be similar to carbamazepine, whereas lacosamideenhances the slow inactivation; however some antidepressantswere also described to act in the same way. Rufinamide,lacosamide, carbamazepine, fluoxetine andimipramine were tested using in vitro models of epileptiformactivities. Extracellular local field potentials were recordedusing hippocampal slices from immature rats and the patternof epileptiform activities was analyzed. Seizure-like events(SLE), but not interictal bursts were sensitive to AEDs’action. Rufinamide increased interictal periods by prolongingpreictal phase and reducing SLE duration, and was theonly tested AED which reduced SLE frequency. Lacosamide’seffect resembled that of fluoxetine in the low-Mg2?model: both drugs reduced markedly the SLE duration, butincreased their frequency. Imipramine and fluoxetine irreversiblysuppressed SLE in all slices. Some proconvulsivetype of action on SLEs such as increasing preictal neuronalactivity by rufinamide and increasing SLE frequency bylacosamide, fluoxetine and carbamazepine, were alsoobserved. Newer drugs were more efficient than carbamazepine,and the anticonvulsant action of antidepressantson in vitro epileptiform activities may seem somewhatsurprising.

      • Fourier analysis of non‐Blazhko ab‐type RR Lyrae stars observed with the <i>Kepler</i> space telescope

        <P><B>ABSTRACT</B></P><P>Nineteen of the ∼40 RR Lyr stars in the <I>Kepler</I> field have been identified as candidate non‐Blazhko (or unmodulated) stars. In this paper we present the results of Fourier decomposition of the time‐series photometry of these stars acquired during the first 417 d of operation (Q0–Q5) of the <I>Kepler</I> telescope. Fourier parameters based on ∼18 400 long‐cadence observations per star (and ∼150 000 short‐cadence observations for FN Lyr and for AW Dra) are derived. None of the stars shows the recently discovered ‘period‐doubling’ effect seen in Blazhko variables; however, KIC 7021124 has been found to pulsate simultaneously in the fundamental and second overtone modes with a period ratio <I>P</I><SUB>2</SUB>/<I>P</I><SUB>0</SUB>∼ 0.593 05 and is similar to the double‐mode star V350 Lyr. Period change rates are derived from O − C diagrams spanning, in some cases, over 100 years; these are compared with high‐precision periods derived from the <I>Kepler</I> data alone. Extant Fourier correlations by Kovács, Jurcsik et al. (with minor transformations from the <I>V</I> to the <I>Kp</I> passband) have been used to derive underlying physical characteristics for all the stars. This procedure seems to be validated through comparisons of the <I>Kepler</I> variables with Galactic and Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) RR Lyr stars. The most metal‐poor star in the sample is NR Lyr, with [Fe/H] =−2.3 dex; and the four most metal‐rich stars have [Fe/H] ranging from −0.6 to +0.1 dex. Pulsational luminosities and masses are found to be systematically smaller than <I>L</I> and <IMG src='/wiley-blackwell_img/equation/MNR_19317_mu1.gif' alt ='inline image'/> values derived from stellar evolution models, and are favoured over the evolutionary values when periods are computed with the Warsaw linear hydrodynamics code. Finally, the Fourier parameters are compared with theoretical values derived using the Warsaw non‐linear convective pulsation code.</P>
