The functional external fixator system for bone deformity near joints in legs using the worm gear was developed for curing the difference angles in fracture bone and the lengthening bar for curing the difference length in fracture bone. Both experiments and FE analysis were performed to compare the elastic stiffness in several loading modes and to improve the functional external fixator system for bone deformity near joints in legs. The FE model using the compressive and bending FE analysis was applied the FE analysis due to the angle differences. The results show that the compressive stiffness value in experiment was 175.43N/㎜, the bending stiffness value in experiment was 259.74N/㎜, compressive stiffness value in FEM was 188.67N/㎜, bending stiffness value in FEA was 285.71N/㎜. The errors between experiments and FEA were less than 10%. The maximum stress (157㎫) to the angle of clamp was lower than the yield stress (176.4㎫) of SUS316L. The stiffnesses in both axial compressive and bending of the new fixator are about 2 times higher than other products except EBI (2003).
미세단층촬영기 (Micro-CT)를 이용한 전자 근관장 측정기의 정확성에 관한 연구

The length of root canal has to be measured to cure root canal. Several apex locators were developed to measure the length of root canal. And they were verified by X-ray or micrometer method. But these methods do not consider the non-linear bends of pulp and have ±0.5㎜ error which is large to measure the length of root canal. The purpose of this study is the research of new method to measure the length of root canal and verifying the apex locator using Micro-CT. The length of root canal of 6 teeth were measured with the apex locator . When the apex locator reads 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1.0㎜, the teeth with the file fixed were photographed. The average lengths of root canal of 6 teeth measured by Micro-CT were 0.488, 0.589, 0.680, 0.775, 0.897, 0.992㎜.

Wear of valve seating face and seat insert seating face influence the performance of engine, so they are important. To manufacture good quality valve and seat insert which have wear resistance the relations between wear factors and wear of the two seating faces have to be inspected. Cycle number is one of the important wear factors wearing the two seating faces and it can translate into mileage in rear car. But little is known. Test variable is only cycle number and the cycle numbers are 2.0×10?, 4.0×10? 6.0×10?, 8.0×10?. And the other test conditions were fixed. Rmax of valve seating face and seat insert seating face increase linearly as cycle number is increased. Rmax of valve seating face were smaller than seat insert seating face in each cycle number. Reaction production by tribological reaction and sliding wear was found on the two faces.
