In this study, two Fusarium strains namely ZSY and MJY were successfully isolated from the contaminatedsoil of Dabaoshan smelter in Shaoguan City, and utilised as a biosorbent for the removal of Pb(II) ions fromaqueous solution. Effect of pH (6), agitation speed (150 rpm), biomass concentration (1 g/L), initial Pb(II)concentration, contact time (60 min), and effect of temperature (323 K) was investigated. Kinetic andisotherm results showed that the removal of Pb(II) ions onto ZSY and MJY werefitted well with thepseudo-second-order and Langmuir isotherm models (232.56 and 263.16 mg/g). In addition thermodynamicstudies were also discussed.

The protective effect of Naoxingtong (NXT) on rat cerebral microvascular endothelial cell (rCMEC) was investigated. rCMEC was injured in vitro by incubating for 4 hours at 100% NO in a hypoxia chamber. After treated with NXT-containing serum, the cellular viability rate (90.3%) was significantly elevated when compared with that of control group and the inhibitive rate of lactic dehydrogenase activity (9.2%) was far lower than the control group with dose-dependent effect. The results indicate that NXT can increase viability of rCMEC, and protect cell membrane from injury during hypoxia.

This paper addresses the synthesis problem of one-dof six-bar linkage motion generation for four precision points. A novel and convenient synthesis approach is introduced. With our method, a 3R chain that guides the movement of its end-effector through a set of four specified task positions is given. We then attach two RR links to this 3R chain to obtain a six-bar linkage. Motion generation can produce an infinite number of solutions for four desired positions. It is difficult for designers to synthesize defect-free linkages and synthesize the best linkage through rapidly and precisely selecting curve points that satisfy every design condition. To solve this problem, a solution region method is given in this paper. With this method an infinite number of mechanism solutions can be expressed on a coordinate plane. In addition, the paper still puts forward a distinguishing method for testing circuit and branch defects for Watt-I six-bar linkages. The feasible mechanism solution regions without any defects are obtained by using the solution region method.

An analytical method for synthesizing and selecting desired four-bar straight-line mechanisms based on solution regions is presented. Given two fixed pivots, the point position and direction of the target straight-line, an infinite number of mechanism solutions can be produced by employing this method, both in the general case and all three special cases. Unifying the straight-line direction and the displacement from the given point to the instant center into the same form with different angles as parameters, infinite mechanism solutions can be expressed with different solution region charts. The mechanism property graphs have been computed to enable the designers to find out the involved mechanism information more intuitively and avoid aimlessness in selecting optimal mechanisms.

In order to improve the accuracy of forecasts of the electricity sales of power sales companies, a depth forecast model of electricity sales based on the characteristics of the power market is proposed. First, based on survival analysis, the calculation method of the user churn rate in the electricity market is given, and the number of users at a certain moment in the future is predicted. Then, users’ electricity consumption that calculated by the deep belief network and the predicted quantity of users are combined to design a forecast model of electricity sales. Finally, the model is solved utilizing the weighting algorithm of adaptive inertia. The analysis of the example shows that the proposed method achieves a signifi cant improvement in the accuracy of power sales forecasting.

Effects of Naoxintong (NXT, a formula of Chinese Materia Medica)-containing serum on Nitrogen monoxide (NO) and calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) in rat cerebral microvascular endothelial cells (rCMEC) was investigated, rCMEC was injured in vitro by incubating for 4 hours at 100% NO in a hypoxia chamber. The results indicated that NXT could antagonize the reduction of NO and CGRP secreted by rCMEC during hypoxia, the effect of which was dose-dependent. After treated with NXT-containing serum at dosage of 5.0 - 30 and 50 -1.1 g/kg/U respectively, the amount of NO and CGRP secreted by rCMEC were remarkably increased during hypoxia in vitro.

Decolorization and organic degradation of wastewater containing multiple dyes are still challenging inwastewater treatment. Magnetic biochar coupled with advanced oxidation is a potential solution to this issue. In this study,a series of magnetite-based biochar composites (Fe3O4@C) was prepared and compared for the removal of mixed dyes,including methyl orange (MO), rhodamine B (RhB), methylene blue (MB), and an organic macromolecule, humic acid(HA). The pyrolysis of watermelon rinds followed by precipitation of Fe3O4 onto the biochar was selected as the optimummethod to prepare an adsorbent and catalyst to couple binary oxidants (hypochlorite and persulfate) for color and totalorganic carbon removal. Persulfate was prone to degrade HA and MB, while hypochlorite was inclined to oxidize MO andRhB. Fe3O4@C exhibited better dye removal performance in coupling with binary oxidants than with a single oxidant. Formixed dye solutions with an initial concentration of 50 mg/l for each dye, the highest TOC (57.24±3.17 %) and the colorremoval efficiencies (94.13±1.68 %) for the mixed dye solution were achieved at a sorbent dosage of 1 g/l and an oxidantdosage of 5 mmol/l for both hypochlorite and persulfate. Multiple free radicals, including hydroxyl radicals, sulfateradicals, and hypochlorite-induced radicals, play critical roles in the degradation of mixed dyes and color removal. Theregeneratibility and reutilization of the magnetic Fe3O4@C composite were effective and stable. The results obtained inthis study show that the combined Fe3O4@C and binary oxidants technique is promising for the treatment of multi-dyewastewater.
