Robust Optimal Trajectory Design by Integrating Genetic Algorithm with Min-Max Method

        Jianmei Song,Xianxiang Chen,Zhiyong Liu,Jing Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2011 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.9 No.5

A robust optimal trajectory design method is proposed in this paper. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is employed to optimize the whole trajectory to improve the terminal attack performance. To enhance the robustness of the trajectory to disturbances, the min-max method is integrated into the GA optimization process. The proposed approach is carefully illustrated with the robust optimization de-sign of the trajectory for a portable short-range top-attack (PSRTA) missile. The H∞ robust gain-scheduled technique is used to design the attitude tracking autopilot to facilitate the trajectory design. The damp feedback loop of the weakly-damped missile body is innovatively treated as the Linear Pa-rameter Varying system (the controlled plant), which is good for practical use. The proposed robust op-timal trajectory design method and the H∞ robust gain-scheduled attitude tracking autopilot are demonstrated to be effective from the whole trajectory simulation results of the PSRTA missile, which also exhibit high applicability for practical engineering problems.

Alkyl-substituted carbazole/pyridine hybrid host materials for efficient solution-processable blue- and green-emitting phosphorescent OLEDs

        Chao Tang,Jianmei Chen,Yuxin Li,Xinchao Liu,Lili Zhang,Fangfang Wang,Jia Hu,Xudong Cao,Tao Jiang 대한금속·재료학회 2021 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.17 No.2

Three new pyridine-cored alkyl-substituted carbazole derivatives of 2,6-bis(2,7-dimethyl-9H-carbazol-9-yl)pyridine(2,7-MeCzPy), 2,6-bis(3,6-dimethyl-9H-carbazol-9-yl) pyridine (3,6-MeCzPy) and 2,6-bis(3,6-di-tert-butyl-9H-carbazol-9-yl)pyridine (3,6-tBuCzPy) were synthesized by means of connecting methyl or tert-butyl substituents on the3,6 or 2,7 positions of carbazole with pyridine ring as the core. The influence of different alkyl and linkages modeon the thermal, photophysical, electrochemical properties and devices electrolumiescent (EL) performances of thecompounds were comprehensively studied. In solution-processed blue or green phosphorescent organic light-emittingdiodes (PHOLEDs) with bis[2-(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2] picolinate iridium(III) (FIrpic) or fac-tris(2-phenylpyridine)iridium (Ir(ppy)3) as phosphorescent dopants, EL performances follow the same sequence of 2,7-MeCzPy> 3,6-tBuCzPy > 3,6-MeCzPy, the trend is consistent with the value of triplet energies (ET). Devices hosted by2,7-MeCzPy achieving the best EL performance, exhibited maxima 13.6 cd A−1 and 7.0 lm W−1 for current efficiency(CE) and power efficiency (PE) in blue PHOLEDs, maxima 26.2 cd A−1 and 16.2 lm W−1 for CE and PE in greenPHOLEDs.

Substitution of soybean meal with detoxified Jatropha curcas kernel meal: Effects on performance, nutrient utilization, and meat edibility of growing pigs

        Li, Yang,Chen, Ling,Zhang, Yuhui,Wu, Jianmei,Lin, Yan,Fang, Zhengfeng,Che, Lianqiang,Xu, Shengyu,Wu, De Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2018 Animal Bioscience Vol.31 No.6

Objective: The study was conducted to investigate the effects of replacing soybean meal (SBM) with different levels of detoxified Jatropha curcas kernel meal (DJM) in growing pig diets on growth performance, nutrients digestibility and meat edibility. Methods: A total of 144 pigs with initial body weight of $20.47{\pm}1.44kg$, were randomly allocated to 6 dietary treatments with 6 replications per treatment and 4 pigs per replication for a period of 79 days. Six diets (DJM0, DJM15, DJM30, DJM45, DJM60, and DJM75) were formulated using DJM to replace 0%, 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, and 75% of SBM. From d 37 to 42, feces and urine were total collected from six barrows in each treatment. At day 79, thirty-six pigs were slaughtered for sampling. The feed intake and weight gain were recorded, while the intestinal morphology, digestive enzyme activities, nutrient digestibility and the content of residual phorbol esters in muscles were determined. Results: The results showed that increasing the replacement of SBM with DJM decreased the parameters including body weight, average daily gain, average daily feed intake, gain-to-feed ratio, weight and villus heights of duodenum, villus height and villus height/crypt depth of jejunum, digestive enzymes (protease, amylase, lipase, and trypsin) activities, and nutrients digestibility (nitrogen deposition, digestibility of nitrogen, energy digestibility, and total nitrogen utilization) (linear, p<0.05; quadratic, p<0.05) and there was no significant difference among DJM0, DJM15, and DJM30 in all measured indices. The highest diarrhea morbidity was observed in DJM75 (p<0.05). Phorbol esters were not detected in pig muscle tissues. Conclusion: The DJM was a good protein source for pigs, and could be used to replace SBM up to 30% (diet phorbol esters concentration at 5.5 mg/kg) in growing pig diets with no detrimental impacts on growth performance, nutrient utilization, and meat edibility.

Synthesis of acid-activated reversible conversion supramolecular nanoplatform: application in drug delivery and anti-tumor activity

        Yang Cuiting,Xiangyu Chen,Jinkui Teng,Shuai Chen,Jianmei Yang,Xiaoqing Liu,Junnan He,Jin Zhang,Yan Zhao 한국고분자학회 2024 Macromolecular Research Vol.32 No.1

Supramolecular nanoplatforms with stimuli-responsive behavior feature sensitive performance and effective drug delivery, which are desirable as intelligent drug delivery systems. Generally, tumor cells are characterized by excessive acid production, resulting in a lower pH in the tumor microenvironment (pH < 6.5) than in normal tissues (pH ≈7.4) and providing the possibility for the drug delivery system to exploit this decrease in pH as a trigger for drug release. Here, an acid-sensitive supramolecular nanoplatform (CM-β-CD/FC12 +Br− NPs) with assembly/disassembly properties was designed and constructed, which was exploited to capture, deliver, and release anti-tumor compound CSL. 2D NOESY was utilized to examine the host–guest interaction and the potential mechanism for CM-β-CD/FC12 +Br− NPs loading CSL. CM-β-CD/FC12 +Br− NPs present good blood compatibility. Cytotoxicity assay revealed that CSL-loaded NPs display minimal toxicity against normal cells BEAS-2B and good anticancer ability against five human cancer cell lines, especially for Human hepatoma cell line SMMC-7721. In addition, cell apoptosis and cycle assay further verified that CSL-loaded NPs-induced apoptosis in SMMC- 7721 cells up to ~ 93%, as well as blocking the cells in G0/G1 phase and inhibiting the proliferation of SMMC-7721 cells in a dose-dependent manner. We expect that CM-β-CD/FC12 +Br− NPs will be potential acid-answered drug delivery candidates.

Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization of Hexadecyl Acrylate Using CuSCN as the Catalyst

        Xu, Wenjian,Zhu, Xiulin,Cheng, Zhenping,Chen, Jianying,Lu, Jianmei The Polymer Society of Korea 2004 Macromolecular Research Vol.12 No.1

The atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of hexadecyl acrylate (HDA) was carried out in Ν,Ν-dimethylformamide (DMF) in the presence of CuSCN/Ν,Ν,Ν′,Ν"Ν"-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA). The results indicate that the polymerization is well-controlled: a linear increase of molecular weights occurs with respect to conversion and the polydispersities are relatively low. In particular, the use of CuSCN as the catalyst resulted in faster polymerization rates for hexadecyl acrylate than did those using either CuBr or CuCl; the polydis-persity, however, was larger than those obtained in the cases when CuBr and CuCl were used. In addition, we report the thermodynamic data and activation parameters for the solution ATRP of hexadecyl acrylate.

Comparative analysis of liver transcriptome reveals adaptive responses to hypoxia environmental condition in Tibetan chicken

        Yongqing Cao,Tao Zeng,Wei Han,Xueying Ma,Tiantian Gu,Li Chen,Yong Tian,Wenwu Xu,Jianmei Yin,Guohui Li,Lizhi Lu,Shuangbao Gun Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2024 Animal Bioscience Vol.37 No.1

Objective: Tibetan chickens, which have unique adaptations to extreme high-altitude environments, exhibit phenotypic and physiological characteristics that are distinct from those of lowland chickens. However, the mechanisms underlying hypoxic adaptation in the liver of chickens remain unknown. Methods: RNA-sequencing (RNA-Seq) technology was used to assess the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) involved in hypoxia adaptation in highland chickens (native Tibetan chicken [HT]) and lowland chickens (Langshan chicken [LS], Beijing You chicken [BJ], Qingyuan Partridge chicken [QY], and Chahua chicken [CH]). Results: A total of 352 co-DEGs were specifically screened between HT and four native lowland chicken breeds. Gene ontology and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes enrichment analyses indicated that these co-DEGs were widely involved in lipid metabolism processes, such as the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPAR) signaling pathway, fatty acid degradation, fatty acid metabolism and fatty acid biosynthesis. To further determine the relationship from the 352 co-DEGs, protein-protein interaction network was carried out and identified eight genes (ACSL1, CPT1A, ACOX1, PPARC1A, SCD, ACSBG2, ACACA, and FASN) as the potential regulating genes that are responsible for the altitude difference between the HT and other four lowland chicken breeds. Conclusion: This study provides novel insights into the molecular mechanisms regulating hypoxia adaptation via lipid metabolism in Tibetan chickens and other highland animals.

      • Control Strategies for a High-Performance 2x27 MVA Machine Test Bench with Multilevel IGCT Converters

        Bo Qu,Jingkui Shi,Hongwu She,Jie Shen,Stefan Schroeder,Zhuohui Tan,Kunlun Chen,Jianmei Zhang,Yulong Li,Fan Zhang,Richard Zhang 전력전자학회 2015 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2015 No.6

In this paper, control strategies of a 22 MW / 27 MVA machine test bench using pumpback topology are introduced. The current loop design at extremely low pulse ratios (e.g. 600 Hz carrier frequency / 80 Hz load frequency) is developed. The system stability and dynamic response are analyzed. The challenges for high-power machine control with a sine filter and a transformer connected between the voltage-source-inverter and the machine are listed and solutions are given. Afterwards, some specific test modes are introduced as well. Finally, the control strategy is validated with the motor test at the customer site.
