Study on Digitalisation of the Tourism Industry in the Regions of the Russian Federation

The relevance of the published study lies in the fact that since the introduction of the first Global Distribution System, new information and communication technologies have constantly been changing the tourism industry. In the context of a current digital environment, travel agencies can't avoid participating in digital transformation processes aimed at rethinking operational models, skills, and organisational structures in the regions. This publication aims to present and provide a critical overview of digitalisation processes in tourism development in the regions of the Russian Federation, as well as to reflect on the challenges to the widespread digitalisation processes in the regional tourism sector. The subject of research is digitalisation processes, as they radically transform the modern tourism industry, in the regions as well. The pragmatic research paradigm was considered the most appropriate for the study of tourism digitalisation processes in the regions, as it does not require the selection of a specific theoretical basis for data collection. The pragmatic approach forms an alternative to classical theoretical approaches and serves as a particular type of grounded theory, combining both inductive and deductive methods. No software was used for the inductive part of the analysis. The deductive part was conducted using the qualitative data analysis software Nvivo 11. Given the wide diversity of interested parties in the regional tourism digital area, a stratified purposive sampling method was preferred due to its ability to adequately represent the full picture of the phenomenon under study. The selection and stratum criteria were chosen to maximise the representation of different perspectives in the regional tourism digital area. The novelty of the study is due to the digitalisation processes, with an implication of new needs, while opening up promising opportunities for more productive tourism business in the regions of the Russian Federation. Currently, e-tourism in the Russian Federation has become a subject of lively debate among scholars and practitioners. However, the involvement of advanced digitalisation technologies in the field of information processes in the regions of the Russian Federation is of a very sporadic character.

Analysis of Chromosome Lesions in Women with Benign Breast Diseases, Residing in the Territories Contaminated as a Result of the Chernobyl Accident

<P>Spontaneous levels of the chromosome aberrations in the peripheral lymphocytes of 173 women were analyzed in the course of a medical examination of the residents of the Bryansk District territories (Klintsy Region, and the town of Klintsy) contaminated after the Chernobyl NPP accident in April 1986. The study population included only women who had been premenopausal at the time of the accident (mean age in 1986 was 23.9±0.7 years, ranging 2 to 56 years). The territory contamination with 137Cs ranged from 1.8 to 23.7 Ci/km2, the mean value being 7.5±0.2 Ci/km2. The range of the calculated absorbed thyroid doses was 30 to 340 mGy (in average, 52.3±3.3 mGy). The number of women with benign breast diseases (BBD) was 116 (67%). All recognizable chromosome lesion types were scored in the first in vitro division metaphases stained with azure-eosin. The mean total aberration frequency in the sample studied was 3.5±0.2 per 100 metaphases, the main contribution being made by the chromatid deletions, which is typical for a normal spontaneous aberration pattern. Based on the results of the cytogenetic analysis, the study population was subdivided into two groups. Group A (128 women) included subjects who showed normal patterns of spontaneous chromosome aberrations. Abnormal patterns, including the aberration frequencies significantly (at p<0.05) exceeding the mean group value and/or the presence of chromosome type exchange aberrations, were found in 45 women (group B). Statistical hypotheses on the possible correlations between the cytogenetic anomalies, BBD, level of the territory radiation contamination, and the absorbed thyroid dose were tested. The proportion of women with BBD was approximately the same in groups A and B (68 and 64%, respectively; p=0.665), which did not allow us to state that abnormal chromosome patterns can be used as diagnosis markers. The data obtained showed some positive trends between the cytogenetic anomalies, breast disorders, level of the territory contamination and the thyroid dose. In addition, it is interesting to note that the inclusion of the body mass index (BMI) into the data analysis showed that, both in women with cytogenetic anomalies (group B) and among the women with BBD, this index was essentially lower than in the respective comparison groups. The BMI differences could not be explained by the age differences, since the latter were insignificant in all the cases (p>0.8).</P>

Peculiarities of the E-commerce Development in the Conditions of Digital Economy

The article is devoted to current issues of the development of e-commerce, which is gaining more importance in the conditions of widespread quarantine restrictions. As a result, of the research the importance of digitalization as a driver of economic development is substantiated and the main business models of e-commerce and their modifications are examined. The peculiarities of e-commerce in the context of digital economy were analyzed and their current state was established. Identified the main trends in the development of e-commerce at the current stage, which allowed to identify problem areas that require further study and evaluation. Presented the results of the market research of decorative cosmetics, based on which the summarized set of problems that affect the online sales in this segment of the market.

Marketing Strategy of the Small Business Adaptation to Quarantine Limitations in the Sphere of Trade Entrepreneurship

The article considers the peculiarities of developing a marketing strategy for the adaptation of small businesses to quarantine restrictions in the field of commercial entrepreneurship. The importance of reformatting the existing marketing strategy in connection with the change of key conditions of trade activity with the introduction of quarantine restrictions due to the covid19 virus epidemic is substantiated. Quarantine restrictions and the temporary introduction of lockdown in various countries around the world, including Ukraine, have not only caused a crisis for small businesses. But they became a shock therapy and accelerated the digitalization of retail. Trends in digitalization and development of digital infrastructure allow both to adapt the structures of commercial entrepreneurship to the current conditions, and set directions for development in the long run. Particular attention in the article is paid to changing the business model and automation of sales processes based on the introduction of vending. The preconditions and existing experience of vending in Ukraine are analyzed. An outline of the business model of the project for the sale of goods through vending machines has been developed.

Mobile Banking Service in Mongolia: The Role of Online Convenience on the Acceptance and Use Behavior

The goal of this study is to scrutinize the impact of individual online convenience dimensions on mobile banking acceptance and use in Mongolia. A total of 211 valid responses were collected from Mongolian university students who currently use mobile banking application services from local banks. The SmartPLS 3.3 software was used to conduct the confirmatory factor analysis and test the hypotheses. Using structural equation modelling, this research discovered that access convenience, transaction convenience, and possession/post-possession convenience are the main constructs related to the adoption of mobile banking services. Perceived innovation showed a significant positive effect on the adoption of mobile banking technologies. Through practical and theoretical implications, this research aims to assist mobile banking service channels of local and international banks in Mongolia. Identifying which online convenience dimensions impact the adoption and use of mobile banking will contribute to the adoption of competitive strategies for financial institutions and banks.

Breadcrumb as a New Substrate for Trametes versicolor and Schizophyllum commune Submerged Cultivation

A new substrate, breadcrumbs, was investigated for biomass accumulation, the pH of the cultural broth, the formation of primary metabolites such as the proteins and endopolysaccharides of Schizophyllum commune 1768 and Trametes versicolor 353, as well as its bioconversion efficiency. The results showed that S. commune gives more mycelial mass ($23.96{\pm}0.8g/l$) and in a shorter period (4 days) than T. versicolor ($15.76{\pm}0.5g/l$ in 5 days). The pH values changed from the initial 6.1 to 3.6 in S. commune cultural broth and to 4.4 in T. versicolor cultural broth. Maximal endopolysaccharide content in the mycelia of S. commune and T. versicolor were 7.13% and 6.42%, correspondingly. Crude protein content in S. commune mycelium was 18.83 % on the 4th day of cultivation, and 20.03%, in the mycelium of T. versicolor, on the 6th day of cultivation. Kinetic parameters for the quantitative estimation of cultivation efficiency were calculated for biomass, endopolysaccharide, and crude protein concentrations.

Acceptance and Use of Mobile Banking in Central Asia: Evidence from Modified UTAUT Model

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the adoption and use of mobile banking by university students and its potential determining factors. This study comprises 259 completed questionnaires answered through an online survey method. The respondents are Mongolian university students who have experience in using mobile banking applications. Young adults rely heavily on technology and are more likely to adopt mobile banking applications; however, there is limited research on the acceptance and use of mobile banking applications among this cohort, particularly from the perspective of Central Asian developing economies. Through using the SmartPLS 3.3 software, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the construct and structural equation modeling. The main results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions are the main constructs related to mobile banking technology acceptance; perceived security positively impacts perceived trust. Moreover, perceived trust is the construct of the use of mobile banking technology by the university students who responded to the questionnaire. However, the relationship between perceived risk and use behavior was not accepted.

The Impact of Service Quality and Loyalty on Adoption and Use of Mobile Banking Services: Empirical Evidence from Central Asian Context

The service industry has been acknowledged as a critical part of mobile banking services in recent years. This study examines the impact of e-service quality and loyalty on the intention to use and use behavior of mobile banking services in Mongolia, a Central Asian country. As a result, based on past research, a conceptual model was suggested. This study comprises 209 completed questionnaires from young Mongolians who own a bank account and a smartphone. The data was collected based on convenience sampling, and it was analyzed with SmartPLS software using a partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings indicate that system quality, interface design, and security assurance have a significant positive impact on service quality; service quality has a positive impact on loyalty. Moreover, the results reveal that service quality and loyalty have a significant influence on the intention to use mobile banking services. The findings of this study suggest that local or international banks and financial institutions in Mongolia should consider system quality, interface design, and security concerns as key successors to building perceived security quality to retain current mobile banking users and attract new customers.

The end of the Korean War reflected in the Bulgarian newspaper ‘Rabotnichesko Delo’

The Bulgarian newspaper ‘Rabotnichesko delo’ (Nodong sinmun) was the first newspaper in the country to give information about the Korean War. Just one day after the beginning of the War there appeared some news about the battles and even an article written by Kim Il Sung was presented. During the first one month of the War, in the newspaper were published more than 250 news about Korea and more appeared almost every day for the first year. There was some information about the War every week during the second year and also weekly during the third year 1953. Bulgarian poets wrote poems about Korea, the fraternity between the Bulgarian and the Korean people and the evil enemy of the peace - America. According the Bulgarian ‘Rabotnichesko delo”, the War started by South Korea but soon it was found the real enemy was the American army. After the attack of the Republic of Korea, North Korea had to react. They started to fight against the Americans with a ‘righteous war’for the unification of the people. The newspaper announces the atrocity of the foreign army that occupied the southern part of the peninsula, praise the North Korean army that is going south to liberate the oppressed Korean people and gives a lot of information about the Bulgarian people reaction to the War. On many places in Bulgaria people raised their voice for peace and wrote letters to UN to blame the Americans and to declare the Bulgarian support to North Korean people. According ‘Rabotnichesko delo’ the War finished with the victory of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Americans lost the battles. The newspaper presents the North Korean point of view but also cites Chinese newspapers and American newspapers as well to give a full information from all over the world.
