경질양극산화를 실시한 Al5052합금의 내공식성에 미치는 ECAP의 영향

The effect of equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) on the pitting corrosion resistance of hard anodized Al5052 alloy was investigated. The degree of internal stress generated in anodic oxide films during hard anodization was also evaluated with a strain gauge method. The pitting corrosion resistance of hard anodized Al5052 alloy was greatly decreased by ECAP. Cracks occurred in the anodic oxide film during hard anodization and these cracks were larger and deeper in the alloy with ECAP than without. The pitting corrosion was accelerated by cracks. The internal stress present in the anodic oxide films was compressive and the stress was higher in the alloys with ECAP than without, resulting in an increased likelihood of cracks. The pitting corrosion resistance of hard anodized Al5052 alloy was improved by annealing at the range of 473-573K after ECAP processed at room temperature for four passes. The compressive internal stress gradually decreased with increasing annealing temperature. It is assumed that the improvement in the pitting corrosion resistance of hard anodized Al5052 alloy by annealing may be attributed to a decrease in the likelihood of cracks due to the decreased internal stresses in anodic oxide films.

Quantifying multiple protein biomarkers in a blood sample at one time has many advantages for diagnosing human diseases. In this study, 34 multiplex assays by multiple reaction monitoring-mass spectrometry (MRM-MS) for serum biomarkers were characterized according to Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) guidelines. The assays revealed that the median lower limit of quantitation (LLOQ) was 0.37 fmol/μL (16.0 ng/mL) and that the median total coefficient of variation (CV) was 18.2%, 12.2%, and 10.6% in the low-, medium-, and high-quality control (QC) samples. With regard to selectivity, the median mean differences in slope and concentration were 2.1% and 4.3%, respectively. The median values for all CVs and %difference from the nominal concentration for stability were 9.5% and 2.7% in low-QC and 3.8% and 3.1% in medium-QC. The median total CV was 9.8% in the reproducibility. Finally, 17 protein-based biomarker assays were reliable and transferrable for preclinical purposes per CPTAC guidelines.

백금족 금속(Platinum Group Metals, PGMs)은 화학적 저항성은 물론 전기·열전도성이 뛰어나 촉매, 전자기기, 전극, 전기기기, 연료전지, 고온 소재 등 광범위한 응용 분야에 사용된다. 일반적으로 백금족 금속은 구리와 니켈의 황화광과 관련되어 있으므로 백금족 금속의 상대적인 농도에 따라 주산물로 생산되거나 니켈과 구리의 부산물로 생산된다. 특히 이러한 자원들은 남아프리카와 러시아 같은 나라들에 편재되어 있으며, 백금족 금속의 연간 공급량은 500톤 미만이다. 이와 같은 백금족 금속의 한정된 공급량을 고려하면 향후에 백금족 금속의 공급 리스크가 증가할 것이다. 따라서 폐촉매와 같은 2차 자원으로부터 백금족 금속을 회수하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 백금족 금속의 제련 기술과 리사이클링 기술에 대하여 고찰하였다.

Carbon nanotube-dispersed bismuth telluride matrix (CNT/$Bi_2Te_3$) nanopowders were synthesized by chemical routes followed by a ball-milling process. The microstructures of the synthesized CNT/$Bi_2Te_3$ nanopowders showed the characteristic microstructure of CNTs dispersed among disc-shaped $Bi_2Te_3$ nanopowders with as an average size of 500 nm in-plane and a few tens of nm in thickness. The prepared nanopowders were sintered into composites with a homogeneous dispersion of CNTs in a $Bi_2Te_3$ matrix. The dimensionless figure-of-merit of the composite showed an enhanced value compared to that of pure $Bi_2Te_3$ at the room temperature due to the reduced thermal conductivity and increased electrical conductivity with the addition of CNTs.
